- Not everyone that's moving to Fresno County or the Central Valley wants to live in Fresno CA, so it's a great thing that I visited all of the major suburbs around Fresno CA in order to help you decide the best and worst suburbs near Fresno.
We will cover the best ones and point out the best things about them, while also providing you a visual image of what you can expect there.
We will also take a look at the worst ones that I would highly recommend anyone moving to the Fresno area stay away from. You'll be able to see very quickly why they made the worst on the list and get a good idea of what you can expect from them...which isn't much.

I was born and raised in Tulare but lived in Fresno for 4 years then as soon as I graduated moved to San Francisco! ❤ im so glad I did. But im still rooting for Fresno to be the city I know it can be

I'm from Fowler and I think all us lil suburb towns feel strong about each other and appreciate what we got here in Fresno county. Everything you just said was so spot on from Clovis feeling like an extension of Fresno(a really nice extension) to all the other rankings. I've spent a lot of time in most these cities and they're all so diverse and beautiful so to have someone spreading what it's really like to live here is awesome.

This was told to me by a native Fresnon,
The street names in Clovis are on Brown signs, the street names in Fresno are on green signs,
that's when you know you crossed over.
Spot on! Although, there are certain spots where it gets a little weird with that (mostly Northern Fresno and Clovis).
Also, there's a rodeo logo on it as well

To be clear, Sunnyside is an unincorporated area of Fresno County that is just barely surrounded by the outskirts of Fresno, but not actually part of the city. Unincorporated exurban areas of Madera County including the Madera Ranchos and many places in the foothills are growing and nice.
Sunnyside is part of Fresno.
@@lewisphillips942 Sunnyside is not technically part of Fresno. It is a mainly unincorporated enclave within Fresno's southeast outskirts.

When the street signs are green your in Fresno, when they are brown, your in Clovis. LOL
You didn't mention the Visalia area at all. What do you think about it (Goshen, Visalia, Farmersville, Exeter)? Or what about Porterville? They look nice, and especially Porterville, which has that beautiful mountain view.
What about Woodward park? Safe for a family? Good schools?
What's your opinion of Coarsegold?

Hey I'm from Finland and moving to Fresno CA for a year (exchange program) which means that I'm living in some random family. Would you say Fresno is a good place? Looking at the crime rates it seems kinda dangerous in a way.
Edit: I'm 17 and gonna be studying in a public high school. Do you have any advice or any thoughts overall?
Ah, I'm very envious of you right meow! I wish I would have taken advantage of the exchange programs while in school.
There are sections of Fresno that can be very crime prone but not all of it or even the majority of it. Do you know what school you would be attending?

Hey hey! Visalia is a bit like a smaller version of Fresno. It's got it's good and bad but overall a lot of people enjoy living there because of the smaller town budding city feel. I lived there myself a very long time ago and have seen a huge growth since then.
It'll depend on the type of lifestyle you're looking for but it's a nice city 🙂
Community Regional Medical Center in which area it's belong? is it safe area?
There is one close to downtown Fresno and another in the NE side of Clovis. Clovis one is in a great area and i personally don't like downtown Fresno too much but I wouldn't consider the hospital to be unsafe.

At its current size, I think it's a decent town to be in and close enough to Fresno where it can feel secluded but not to the point where you'd feel as if you're missing out. I covered it a bit in another video as well. It does have some impoverished areas that can be rougher but I've never felt unsafe when I've been there. It's a small affordable town with the farm-like feel
Make it clear u mean fresno county. Also clovis is definitely the best. Fresno the city has some great neighborhoods. Smh everyone thinks fresno is flat out ghetto. plenty fresno natives will argue if we really have gangs lmao.
