Whoah great job running the rapids, and learned some stuff watching your maneuvers. White water is something I'd love to get more into this season. Nice camp sites along the way too.

Thanks! The site above Gravel falls is really nice. Love to be back there when it's not a monsoon to enjoy the fire pit. We're taking a whitewater training course this year to improve our skills. Proper technique to come, we really were winging this one lol!

Thanks for sharing the video especially the sections showing the various rapids and swifts. I ran from Park Lake to Oxtongue Lake last year as a day trip but tomorrow I head back to do the same trip you did in this video likely starting at Tim Lake Dam and ending at Oxtongue Lake. I noticied in the comments that you were going to take some whitewater training this year. Did you take it and if so how did it work out (I will check your video list to see if you've answered in a video already). Subbed and liked.

Hey thanks for your comment! That's great to hear, how did your recent trip back to the oxtongue go for you? Yes, we took white water training this June with Andrea and Hap on the Lady Evelyn in Temagami. I would recommend it if it's in your budget, it helped us improve greatly. More importantly the course laid the skills so we can continue to improve as we go out. (I have a quick highlight video with some of this seasons white water clips in it that's uploading currently to youtube, I imagine it will be posted within a day, there's a few clips in there from the training, and another river trip we just did over the weekend. I'm editing our summer trip videos and will have them out soonish when completed!

Looks like two nights but honestly you could do the trip in a day.
