Our Patrons were given three choices: Pictured Rocks, Boundary Waters, or here - Algonquin Provincial Park. Algonquin won, and we went up to film our first episode across international boundaries. Join us as we paddle through the lakes and rediscover the fundamentals of life, and how important they are for the body and spirit.

This is clearly the best site on RUclips if you like hiking and camping. Your video editing is on a professional level. This video, for example, could air on Discovery or Travel Channel with NO ADDITIONAL EDITING. That is just how good this is.

This video is so good, it could be episode #1 of a TV series. I wish you guys would get the attention of the right person who can make that happen. The videography and music selection is superb. The camaraderie between you is heartwarming - everyone wishes they could have close friends like that. And the subtle naivety makes one feel like you are a part of the group, experiencing it for the first time right along with you. How lucky you were to see the northern lights, but unlucky (maybe) for not running into the numerous bears the habitat the area. You embarked on a route I know well, which made your journey even more enjoyable. Best luck guys.

Sick video, one of my favourite places on Earth. The amount of sunny days I spent with buddies just screwing around on Burnt Island... Can't wait to go back. There's 1 campsite on that lake that beats all, and nobody even knows its a campsite. I'll probably vlog it soon.

I spent a week canoeing in Algonquin back in the early 1970s. I was around your ages then. I enjoyed the sights and sounds of your Utube video. My memories are of the aurora borealis and the portage of canoes and gear . I went in August and I guess the Northern Lights were farther south than year for some reason. God Bless you.

I watched this a few weeks ago.
I now have a backpacking setup, and we are canoeing Algonquin in late May.

This reminds me of our trips out of Achray, in the northern section. We would canoe Grand Lake, Stratton Lake, High Falls Lake, Ooze Lake, to Opalescent Lake. We would come back via St Andrews which have sandy beaches on one side and cliffs on the eastern side. If you plan it right, come through there on a full moon, and the wolves on the cliffs would be howling! Thanks for the video and the memories.

Sounds like an unbelievable time! I'm definitely going to have to head back there sometime and see if I can hear wolves. Thank you so much for watching! -Andrew

BRILLIANT!!! Love the footage. Thank you so much for posting!!! I stumbled upon this video by accident looking for new ways to enjoy my city/province (Toronto, Ontario) via kayak. I've been to Algonquin Park more times than I can remember but your video made it all feel new to me. Thank you so much. I can't wait to see more. Keep more videos coming (Canada if possible) please and thank you.

The last time I paddles these lakes it was raining so hard I could barely see. Even still, it was one of my favourite trips. Canoe, Joe, and Burnt Island are such nice lakes as they are well travelled and maintained

Man! i loved this video. I am taking my 4 year old daughter camping in a few weeks! Taking it easy on her first time and staying in tea lake campground this year, just off of canoe lake but I hope in the near future we can back-country in Algonquin. I am so fortunate to live only 2 hours away in Barrie, ON from the most amazing park in the world. If you ever come to Algonquin again, stop by.... maybe I'll come along!
    Thanks boys!
