Hey dude, a long shot. My cm28 when I use the usb cable to the pc wont pick up as an external drive. I did record things using the internal memory but cannot access it. Was there anything specific you did? the manual isn't really helping -_-* Cheers!
Haha, cheers, just randomly found another video where the guy shows exactly what I needed to see. I didnt know you could also just use the mic on its own to record, without needing the reciever to record (albeit, there's no monitoring, but still! ^_^). Cheers for the reply!
No. I don't have the wired mic option but I also don't know how to increase the transmission volume on the transmitter. I only see the black button for turning it on/off and then the yellow one for turning on noise cancelling or internal recording.
Seems like there is a lot of static or wind noise in the background of much of your recording. Is that something in your room or just that that mics have a noisy sound floor?
I had a 8xHDD NAS behind me and also the mic at the beginning was the modmic while I was doing the unboxing. Pay attention to the top left where I indicate which mic you are listening to throughout the video. I also applied no post processing to any of the audio for this video.
Not that I’m aware of as when the mics connect to the receiver one is the left channel and the other is the right channel, or they can also be mixed together as mono.
Be careful when you order: There is a version around without loading box also dubbed ›CM28‹! I need the mic rarely, so I don't care, but it was an unpleasant surprise, when it arrived.
@@smerkin5000 cool just recieved mine in mail today but was at work, I think I can still manage with the 4gb since it should be around 9 hours of capture time or so if I'm not mistaken
@@smerkin5000 I have been experimenting w/ it. The storage has been wayy more than enough so far, But been having an issue w/ recording I have been trying Mono and only one of the transmitters is recording internally, but I have both recording or at least indicating that they are recording. So, unfortunately I have had 0 luck on Mono mode. I did do Stereo once with good audio, but it was muffled from the noise cancellation on top of my sound proofing of my helmet. So tomorrow I will be trying Stereo again to see if maybe when on mono it only decides to record 1 transmitter even though both are recording on separate locations, (Setup Explained) so I have my helmet mic a Purple Panda lav w/ a dead cat connected to Transmitter 1, and my bag mic Solo Transmitter 2 w/ Dead cat capturing exhaust, So far the exhaust has always come through, But my helmet mic has been hit or miss. No sound just static but not in response to my voice or exhaust. I am also ensuring my lav mic is securely in and not loose or able to be pulled easily either via the wind or me turning a certain way. Was wondering if during your testing Mono ever gave you any issues when using both transmitters at the same time. From my understanding Mono should be single track use from one or both transmitters if using both while stereo would be dual track use via one or both transmitters if using both or is that just me having a lack of knowledge moment?

Hi! I tried the lapel mic and it's not working up. Do you know if I am missing a setting?
I’ve never had an issue with the lapel mic and I use it several times a week.
@smerkin5000 okay. Thanks. Maybe it's user error or the mic I'm using for the lav
Once i connect it to my camera via the 3.5 jack, can i press record from my camera and it automatically starts taking audio from the new mic ?
Yes
Maybe try using one of the wired microphones, or boosting the levels on the receiver
how do you change the brightness of the screen?
I don’t think it’s possible, the manual doesn’t say anything about it.

Awesome, great to hear I was able to help.

It was plug and play. To make it clear, the recordings are stored on the microphone devices themselves, not on the transmitter device.

Mine doesn't pick up sound when I clip it to a shirt. I have to bring it directly in front of my mouth to get any decent sound. Help
Have you tried using the wired mic or adjusting the transmission volume on the transmitter?
No. I don't have the wired mic option but I also don't know how to increase the transmission volume on the transmitter.
I only see the black button for turning it on/off and then the yellow one for turning on noise cancelling or internal recording.
it’s on the other device that receives the signal from the mic device, you can control the output volume from that. Read the manual

Can you connect more than 2 mics to one receiver?

That sucks, thanks for sharing here as a warning for others
My one question, is it possible to upgrade the 4gb of storage or is it the only way for your standalone recording
There’s no upgrade option unfortunately

Oh shit, you don't own a synthesizer. My videos have never been served outside synthesizer land...
Yeah I was watching another video on synths and I think because of that your video was recommended

Thanks for the offer but I very much well like my bigfoot hat :)
