  • Zipper is a classic carnival or fair ride built by Chance Rides. The first one was developed in 1968 by Joseph Brown. The oblong main frame rotates with the cage-like vehicles freely flipping and moving via a pulley system. Many Zippers were designed for amusement parks and traveling fairs but have slowly become more endangered. This particular traveling Zipper is operated by Russ Amusements. NAPHA recognizes Russ Amusements for the continued operation of their Zipper ride.
