Well when a handful of US military soldiers along with a group of military contractors hired for HVT protection end up providing extra fighters, resupply, and medevac with thier own helicopters to protect US government employees from a full-blown enemy attack for multiple days, I'd say caliber selection was not the critical failure point 😉... Or really a great consideration of this possible scenario, because it never should have been... Although I agree even a properly dope carded 5.56 DMR would've been a nice enhancement, but a suppressed SR-25 with lots of magazines definitely would've been a handy force multiplier... Although so would several blackhawks full of Army Rangers, a couple of JTACS, and an AC-130 gunship 😁 This was a complete government f@ckup, luckily the terrain, building layouts, and lack of high volume, large diameter mortars allowed these brass balled defenders to pull off a hell of a win... Unlike Libya there were plenty of large American military air and ground assets with unlimited (atleast from the air) freedom of movement close at hand, yet these guys were basically hung out to dry... 😠
@@Immortalkalashnikov While I'll stick with my number one assessment of caliber selection should in no way have been the difference maker that day... From what I understand most of the militants were breaking into groups and moving towards the compound often in the open at between 600-1500 meters away, that's a substantial long haul for 5.56, with no wind, and match grade 77gr ammo... I'm guessing they were just shooting M193 or M855 which makes both accuracy, maximum range, and transonic instability much worse, along with the lessened lethality at ranges over 600 meters... Although once again this is a conversation we shouldn't be having because this entire situation should have been brought to a swift closure within a couple of hours... Despicable failure of governmental bureaucrats within the state department 😠

Good seeing 'ol Haley still being a generally studly dude 18 years later.
always awesome senor Travis!!! Howdy from Houston TEXAS!!!
Imagine how essential these outstanding individuals have been to the domestic counterinsurgency effort that has been taking place.
Their mere mention has been sufficient to discourage the opposition from engaging in ill-advised courses of action that would have resulted in significant misfortune.
For them.
These guys are heroes.
They were then and they are now.
Awesome upload Travis
thx brother. brb going stick foamies in all my rifles lol

I used to watch those videos from those days before I deployed to Afghanistan on liveleak. Never forgot them, recognized a lot of shit from those combat videos in a few situations
Thank you for your service Travis. I bought several of the rifle patches and Memento Mori patches to give to special friends One in particular a friend who was a NAVY SARC with MARINE RECON and MARSOC Now with Santa Barbara PD. CA. 👍🇺🇸
Thanks for sharing Travis
My favorite type of rifle.
I remember being 8 years old and seeing that video on Ebaumsworld

Reminds me of the PARAS in Northern Ireland. Bloody Sunday. This is not a compliment.
That ARMS sir system is the rarest Pokemon by now. Things have changed so much.

New sub. Just heard of you from Brandon Herrera's yt Chan gun meme review. Thank you for your service
As a Patriotic American who never served . You may not believe this but SO many Americans remember well the events your talking about . Most of us have no place OR who to express our thanks to . So thank you . Many of us have heard stories , and believe many of you were hung out by our own GOVT. That burns deep into the American Patriots thoughts . In many ways the men that served against all odds are not forgotten BUT many of us do not know who we should be thanking . God Bless , Thank you to all the served .
Black Water Sniper 18 is here!
First photo has Jelcz truck - made in Poland :D
"It's a turkey shoot"
I remember watching this video way before call Magpul stuff
Good to hear the thunder!
When you go do a tacticool photo op /video in the hills and forget to throw a mag into your pistol.
Too bad the only payment option is creditcard. Would've loved to order a bunch of swag to accommodate my D3CRM and my D3 SLK. Nonetheless, keep doing what you're doing! 👊🏻
That video is when I first saw you Travis
coming from Canada, I have nothing but the highest respect for the Rights afforded to Americans through their constitution, and the men and women like this stalwart gentlemen, who know how to fully and properly exercise those rights.... Its plain to see why the bad faith actors in the shadows want to see the public disarmed. If America falls, the world falls...
very interesting video, thank you
Wow, I guess I'm not the only one using ARMS SIR system rails.
Is that #59 M SIR?
@@themikebray Yes. There's also a #59 C but I can't tell you the difference other than M= Military and C= Civilian. I actually have 2 SIR systems. The 50M-CV and the 58M-CV. I use ARMS BUIS, Scope Rings and several of their throw lever mounts. They aren't very popular in the AR community due to cost but hey, if Haley used them then they have to be cool! I've followed him for years even when he was with Magpul and making instructional videos. The guy knows his shit.
Battle of 4-4-4. That’s the first I’ve heard of that. Watched that footage time after time. Hear that round at 6:14? …that’s a pucker moment.
Thank you for sharing Travis. It’s an honor and a privilege to train with you.
“Jesus Christ it’s like a fucking turkey shoot.”
Warrior 👊
Man!
2004 seems like yesterday.
Sounds like you need to get a spot on the shawn ryan show.
That would be a great show! 👍🤘
Thank you for service sir. I do thank Military, Police, Fire and EMT daily when I catch them some place. They know my sons on sight and we live in a community of 65 thousands.
My son is it a Marine Corps he’s been serving for a little over five years I’m not sure what he’s doing he doesn’t tell me it seems like this world gets crazier and crazier thank God we live in America 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
