    That never ends good for contractors. No glory. No history. No honor. You’re paid and then forgotten, if you survive.

    I was a Blackwater guy and was very proud of my accomplishments there. Years later I went back to the military and became a MEDEVAC pilot. I was horrified at the layers of bureaucracy. It was frustrating to a level difficult to explain. I blame the Generals. Sanchez was a turd.

      I got out of the army in 2018 for that same reason. I saw what was coming and thank god because It’s a social experiment now. I’m sure you would agree but everyone I served with didn’t give 2 shits what you did or who you did in your free time. As long as you were an asset to the team and could do your job then you were our brother. A solider in my platoon was bisexual and I would pick that guy to have my back in a gunfight any day of the week. Now they got trans soldiers and officers cross dressing in uniform during the duty day. Its embarrassing.

    One objection I have regarding Erik Pince comes from his book. Pitching the services of a company like Blackwater to the federal government as a way to skirt Posse Comitatus tells me Prince is all about money over principle.

    • @TheTibetyak
      @TheTibetyak 6 месяцев назад +8

      When do you think the US last entered a conflict for reasons based on pure principle. Genuinely curious. I never served. My father served WWII. His brothers - all six of them and one sister - served and/or did combat in WWII. Two other uncles fought in Europe. One cousin fought in Vietnam. My entire life has been spent around former military. I read a great deal on military history. Under the flag of Hearts and Minds, I see a thin thread of principle. But it sure looks like principal outweighs principle.

      @@ClinttheGreat They didn't skirt it. I didn't claim he skirted it. I said that Erik Prince pitched Blackwater's services to the Obama Administration as way to skirt Posse Comitatus. This information is in Prince's own book. Just read the words. I didn't leave room between the lines.
