The Move You NEED To Be USING

- Ws3 with the new addition of being able to transition into bok might be one of the coolest additions to Leo’s tool kit in tekken 8, being able to go under 10 frame retaliation with bok 1,2 or bok2 really adds pressure to the opponent to make the right decision to putting the fear of that into your opponent makes a string like this really obnoxious to deal with, this is something you should definitely be incorporating into your game, if you like the video please leave a like comment and subscribe and let me know what other tools you’d like to see me try and utilise in future videos

It’s so funny how diff people play Leo cuz this is a staple move in my gameplay lmao
Lol I swear I use this all the time
AyoRichie, I just wanted to say that I thank you for being the player that you are. Ever since I fell in love with Leo in Tekken 6, I was always undermined for playing Leo while everybody else played a mishima or something. It was until I found your fight against Super Akouma in the ICFC EU 2022 Fall tourney is when I doubled down on Leo. Now I'm in currently Bushin and 2 matches away from Tekken King. Thanks again, For everything :)
Good shit Richie, Youre dedication to the grind wont go unrewarded. I Hope you enjoy making vids as much as we enjoy watching/learning
AyoRichie, good video. I really liked that in a few places you went through your thought process observing Fergus reacting to ws3, and how you will change up your usage. I have seen other pro players do that in their videos/streams as well, go through things and patters they observe in their opponent, even in the first rounds, like "hey, I see hid did this move into this move, I will try to pay attention and see if he does it again, and I can punish". As a tekken beginner, these kinds of observations are invaluable.
I know it's not a easy thing to do, especially while actively playing, but it is something you can try doing, for videos and for stream as well. I think it will greatly benefit a lot of players.
Anyways, keep on keeping on. You're a big reason I started with Leo in T7, so cheers!
Really nice video, thank you for this. I'm new to playing Tekken in a non casual way and these kinds of videos are extremely helpful. There's so many moves and so interactions between them and stances and everything, so going over which are good where and why is a godsend.
Looking forward to the next one!
Me who runs a deadly 50 50 game with leo (for me and my opponent) watching this *sighs and opens practice mode)
I really appreciate this format. Cool to see you adjust your play according to opponent. I`ll try incorporating this approach with WS3 more often plus that wall setup you explained in a previous video (after wall splat, qcf+2b) looking for counter hits :-D Once again, thank you!
I been using cd3 so much in t8 because of nerfed tracking overall in the game. The tracking didnt get nerfed, hits grounded, nice mid check, str extension threat, ch confirmable string. This move is overloaded and high coverage
Nice video. F24 by the way have a reaaly strong mixup potential. On block you have -1 tou can mix f 24 12/ssr beat a lot of option. Or you can f24 cd witch - 1 too. You can mix f24 cd ssl witch beat df 1/hop kick df 2. And you can f24 cd ws3 witch will have start 14 frames. It would be counterhit for homing and launchers. You just step at point blank on -1 witch fucking perfect.
Best coach
Hey broski, if you think it's a good idea can you do a video of how to fully utilise Leo's heat. As a advanced player, I generally don't feel I utilise it enough/effectively so would to see how u would break it down to use it
Support my boy
Maybe another video on f243 with ltg?
Ws3,1 BOK3 can evade some low attempt

Fuck with the mons music Richie
I think while standing 1+2 Is more under utilized than this. I almost never see it
Its really good against heatburst on hit bc its beat heatsmash
@@qoqva7977 Isn't ws1+2 like -15 on block. You could go for something else like ws3 to interrupt heat smashes.
