He apparently admitted in a livestream that he was depressed after his fiancee left him, and that explains A LOT about his content, IMO. He also clearly looks like he's been using steroids as he started looking very bloated and red, ruddy in complexion after taking up body building. He also made a truly terrible short film which rips off Predator in a quasi-medieval setting and then sold blu-rays off it in a one-time only availability deal to stoke sales, so it's ironic he thinks he understand films when his own film-making is just embarrassing and used to cash in. In short, I think this guy is like any of the anti-diversity grifters except with much less self-control.

Oh, 1000%. However, the pushback on the left is different than the traditional "Defund the BBC" pushback. The left want the BBC to change its reporting to reflect the truth, hold power to account and not punch-down. The right want to defund the BBC because it employs black people, LGBTQ+ people and because they hate speech.
While I'm really not a fan of the Chibnall era I don't think that it started with Jodie or anything. I think a lot of it goes back to the writing style of series 6 pt 2 and series 7, which started the decline. But hey I love series 10 which isn't exactly popular
@@cheapfinish6224 yeah, the ratings were really poor, but what I mean is that in terms of fan opinions, series 10 tends to be a favourite. Or at least that's from what I've experienced from the fandom
Oh yeah, the classic moment that tells you when you're watching a conservative grifter who's pretending to actually care and know about a sci-fi TV show when they actually don't know shit about said TV show: When they make a pun with the name of a member of the staff or a director/writter with penis. Peak quality content here.
This was weirdly nostalgic. I first unfortunately encountered Mr H Reviews in 2020 and haven't thought about him since but I swear he used the exact background music in this video that he did on the videos I watched from him three years ago. What's more embarrassing and something people might not know is that Mr H is an aspiring filmmaker... I remember he was trying to get some "non-woke" sci-fi film he would write and direct made through his patreon three years ago, so the fact he seems to not really understand what a massive undertaking making Doctor Who in 2020 would have been doesn't really inspire much confidence in his abilities as a filmmaker. Not that I really think he has a bright future in the entertainment field anyway since the guy literally makes a career off of shitting on those who work in film and television. It's kinda sad in a way. The guy's dream is to direct and write entertainment, but he can't get out of his own way to ever make that a feasible career as he's ignorant and a bigot.
IIRC that film "Black Fields" was made with crowdfunding on the back of his reactionary nonsense, ended up being literally a 10 minute long cheap rip off of Predator and terrible, and then released on blu-ray for a limited time only to boost sales and at high price from a website he then closed down. IMO he has no dreams of film-making, it was all just a grift.
He literally said that Hellraiser was in "the wrong hands" when Clive Barker regained rights, because Barker made a comment about his unused Mummy script from 1991 that included a transgendered character. Clive Barker HIMSELF is too "woke" to write Hellraiser, according to that unbelievable douchebag.
I think this guy is only doing a video so he can talk shit about the bbc and doctor who and do nasty jokes about Chris who while a lot of his episodes weren’t the best and some were quite bad he did his best and is still a nice person
The sheer smugness of this guy... I'd have turned off within 20 seconds. Then again, reactionary titles like this already turn me off. Also yes, Chris Chibnall does sound really like Simon Pegg.
Chibnall did state that he wrote Power of The Doctor as the final episode of the entire show as he was unsure on the BBC continuing it. Luckily RTD is coming back and we all can look foward to the future, whether you loved Jodie or not, the future looks bright
He said that because, *he* didn't know, that's the distinction. Turns out the BBC had a plan over a year before that, I suppose they didn't want it leaking that RTD was returning just incase that deal fell through.
@@robotx9285 There's a lot of places you can find Chibnall writing DW as if it's ending, the most obvious is the script itself which had Jodie sitting on the clifftop regenerating and it cutting to black. RTD has said though that he was in discussions with the BBC in late 2020 for the 60th specials, and they later asked if he wanted to return for the full era in 2021 and that's what then got announced whilst TPOTD was being filmed.
@@lavishisles5497 I recall Darren Mooney spinning this into a pretext to scream abuse at Chibnall, as if they personally decided the show shouldn't continue.
@@MrThorfan64 Exactly, given that Chibnall’s bosses and job description were vastly different behind the scenes you might as well be asking Jodie Whittaker who the next Doctor is (at the time). Moffat had the power to recommended Chibnall for the role, but the BBC Studios move meant showrunner appointments were dealt with by higher ups
Fandom hurt itself alone: no dislike, no criticism, no personal feeling can justify people behavior regarding a simple TV show. Because, yes: at the end of the day, that's what "Doctor Who" is and always be. Just a TV show, and nothing else. Chibnall did nothing to the fandom: the fandom did it to itself.
@@UomodAltriTempi Just proves that Doctor Who fans aren't the most mentally durable people....frankly, I think the fanaticism positive and negative for the programme is embarrassing.

If the BBC, of all corporations, states that the franchise was nearly cancelled under Chibnall, then it must be so. As to why, well, it is pretty obvious.
You mean a woman in the lead and “wokeness”? which has always been part of the show since it’s inception, with the co-creator being a jewish woman and the first director being a gay indian man along with n@zi-like creatures in the second story and various eras (especially, Pertwee’s) covering topics of the day then a gay man reviving said franchise in the 2000s and introducing various LGBT+ characters/actors throughout etc.
Cancelled? Opposite- flux, the BBC could have " no, we're not doing it because of covid.." but they went ahead and did flux anyway!!! That's how bad it was!😂🤣🤣🤣And then he gets your attention, trilby- well done Mr. H!😂
@@imcallingjapan2178 l was saying: if you can read, the BBC could have said no to doing flux because of the covid outbreak but went ahead and did it anyway! That's how ' badly ' the programme was doing in the eyes of the BBC.
We all love Doctor Who but hasn't the BBC outright stated that the Chibs' era was the closest it got to the cancelation since the 80s? We as fans have to be honest about what we love, the show has been garbage for a good while now, with some sprinkles of good here and there.
If you want us to be honest, I’ll be honest. I prefer Classic, Eccleston, Smith, Capaldi and Whittaker over Tennant anyday. The only good things RTD has made were Series 4 (till the finale and specials), The Sarah Jane Adventures and Children of Earth. All his LGBT+ focused shows (this is coming from a gay guy) and his first three series of Who are garbage.
Not to my knowledge. But this recent spat of news and coverage is focusing more on "Chibnall bad" and less on "It was tough to make Flux during a global pandemic".

Wow! The incessant jokes regarding a sad attempt at making fun of a person's name...this sad person makes himself his own joke. Don't make a joke of someone's name. I'm not a big fan of Chinball's showrunning, but he has written some good and ok shows over many years.
If anything is to be taken away from Radio Free Skaro interview it should be not only is it a miracle that anything get's accomplished in show business, but that goes doubly true when there's pandemic involved.
Chibnall deserves to be in the CHAD pantheon for managing to shepherd the show through such a crisis.
Sadly he's probably the most hated figure in the DW fandom now, partially as lots of people realise it's a great way to pander to viewers by screaming abuse at him. People act like Jay Exci is some really respectable critic but they clearly pander to the haters as well.
That guy used to actually be entertaining when he would simply narrate stuff. But now he just keeps exposing himself as some basic right wing incel
Ironic. In complaining how woke and needlessly political hollywood is, he himself is becoming more political.
Like bro, I just want to learn more about Aliens and Godzilla, I don't care if going woke broke the MCU/Disney.
@@saltystick_99 he figured it gets him views and youtube ad revenue money as an extension of that, and concurently allows him to create an incel, racist far right echo chamber so I can see why he steered away from actually fun content to capitalise on incel rage. @@fgcpeak9591 Just because its true doesn't make it any less sadder.
I’m really not a fan of the Chibnal era but I don’t get the overwhelming hate, did I dislike most of the era yes, but there’s always some diamonds, series 11 had my guilty pleasure of The Witchfinders and The Woman Who Fell To Earth, series 12 had some great episodes like Nikola Tesla’s Night of Terror and The Haunting of Villa Diodati, and series 13 had War of the Sontarans, Eve of the Daleks and Power of the Doctor, it also has massive issues such as almost every other episode I didn’t already name but I can’t deny I had a lot of fun at times so people who just write off the whole era really make 0 sense to me
Maybe it's the audio quality in the interview here but yeah, Chibs does sound very much like Simon Pegg.
We got hate filled liars like him all over the place in the U.S.
And in Office.
The Chinballs joke is so old that if you took it to the beach that makes you old, nothing would change about it.
I automatically distrust any who use that term.
The thing about those sort of people is they always use that image of Jodie in the thumbnail for their video.
semi related to defund the bbc, but i do think the journalism arm needs to be sanctioned and scrutinised for their transphobic bias, because that part of the company is just rotting
Series 10 is pretty well liked, so you're not in the minority there
@@russelltietjen4407 series 10 was another ratings low-point and was a shit show as well.
@@cheapfinish6224 yeah, the ratings were really poor, but what I mean is that in terms of fan opinions, series 10 tends to be a favourite. Or at least that's from what I've experienced from the fandom

Fun fact: USA: Canceled & UK: Cancelled . Otherwise agreed H is BS.
The Human Centipede of Content strikes again
Saying "chinballs" over and over isn't repeating a joke, it's forgetting to change the word from what you normally call him off camera.
I don't get it.
Stick to Lovecraft and Clive Barker, Mr Heitch
What happened to Clive Barker

Clive Barker HIMSELF is too "woke" to write Hellraiser, according to that unbelievable douchebag.
@@imcallingjapan2178 but why does mr Heitch hate humanity so much ? Why does he want to destroy us? (Prometheus scene)

I do think that it wasn't spelled wrong but it was in purpose as to mock radio free skaro
Yeah these channels make dumb puns like that all the time.
I think this guy is only doing a video so he can talk shit about the bbc and doctor who and do nasty jokes about Chris who while a lot of his episodes weren’t the best and some were quite bad he did his best and is still a nice person

You can dislike this era and still think some of the critics are ill informed gossip mongers are that dislike it for all the wrong reaons.

The amount of prostitution you'd have to do to fund even ONE episode of doctor who is completely unrealistic. Like you'd need to do it for months
We're missing the big headline we could have K-9 back
“have you seen Kerblam” 😂
I can't find that video on the channel.
Where did he say this?
It had definitely hurt the fandom, and general audience reviews. So I'd say it did
Fandom hurt itself alone: no dislike, no criticism, no personal feeling can justify people behavior regarding a simple TV show. Because, yes: at the end of the day, that's what "Doctor Who" is and always be. Just a TV show, and nothing else.

We all love Doctor Who but hasn't the BBC outright stated that the Chibs' era was the closest it got to the cancelation since the 80s?
We as fans have to be honest about what we love, the show has been garbage for a good while now, with some sprinkles of good here and there.
It hasn't doctor who has always been peak since rtd brought it back
If you want us to be honest, I’ll be honest.
@@tokublwhovianI can agree to an extent cause for me it’s harder to go back and watch seasons 1&2 of the revival not because of the actors or production but how the fans of rose have put her on a pedestal by actually stating that she is why the show was still going and it ruined the first 2 seasons cause of it so for me season 3 is where it gets going cause she is gone from the show
