      i mean with all the Hardware limitations they really had to get creative to get some games running. Now a day you really feel that most games are just shat out in to the market to make a quick profit.
      Im not saying all 80-90s games where great. I just wanna drive home the point that the good games from that era have a Legendary Status for a reason.

    • @schizophrenic_rambler

      In my opinion, the creative era of games ended around when the DS released, It may be only me but after that most non-indie games felt a little too samey.

    • @commscan314
      @commscan314 2 года назад +9

      @@schizophrenic_rambler It's because the games in the 1990s evolved with their limitations, and the choice between making a game on Genesis or Super Nintendo wasn't console market share or gambling on which would be more popular, it was the strengths and weaknesses of their hardware. Want a graphics and sound intensive game? Super Nintendo. Want an extremely complex game that needs a lot of CPU usage? Genesis. Multi-platform games were a lot rarer, simply because a lot of the time developers needed something that wasn't on one but was on the other.

      Then again, I just like racing games in general. Pres A to go and control stick or control pad left or right to turn. And in some games, a trick system that is sort of kind of used, and A button to jump. Racing games are the best.

    Remember when we were all floored when a game console achieved the ability to scale, rotate, flatten, and perspective correct a bitmap pixel image?
    The jump from 8-bit 3-color 8x8 or 16x16 sprites to full real-time bitmap transformation on 16-bit hardware was a revolution.
    Gaining the ability to perform Ray-Tracing Lighting looks rather pedestrian by comparison.

    • @commscan314
      @commscan314 2 года назад +3

      It's because ray tracing doesn't affect the ways you can play a game, it only really changes how the game looks. The ability of the N64, PlayStation, and Saturn to run 3D engines with full polygons changed the way their games were played compared to the SNES and Genesis, while ray tracing just makes shadows look better.

    I will never re experience the best days of gaming again. Games are not made like they used to be (boomer comment) and I am not enjoying games in general. They hold a special place in my heart, through this music I can relive the past. Remember feelings I haven't felt since childhood. Blessed to be able to have the childhood I had..

      Yo igual, lo había escuchado en varios videos de Dross cuando hablaba de videojuegos clásicos, y fue en el Super Nintendo Mini que supe que era de este juego.
      Si hay algo que puedo decir en favor de Sony, es ese magnífico chip de audio del Super Nintendo, la Génesis tenía lo suyo pero, ¿de qué sirve tener una consola si el audio es pésimo? O al menos es mi punto de vista respecto al Génesis, pero tiene títulos muy buenos, claro está.

      *a nada. A crase indica contração da preposição "a" com o artigo "a," mas não existe artigo "a" antes de "nada," e então não deve existir crase ali. Mesmo se você quisesse incluir um artigo ali, ele seria o masculino "o" e a sua contração seria "meus problemas se reduzem ao nada."
