Doctor can you please tell me how long we should use DIM and apiacea? When should we include NAC &GST?Do we have to take all these together??When should we take Calcium d glucerate??I mean how should we take all these? Should we do each of these step by step?or altogether?if step by step how can we start next phase? What determine the duration of each phase?
These are all great questions! It really depends on the case. For example DIM is good when estrogen is high or there is a lot of conversion to 4-oh on labs. Calcium-d-glucorate is best if we think there might be yeast or high beta glucaronodase in the gut. Usually they are taken one or the other, but not always. NAC is great ovarian support in general, plus it helps boost glutathione too. Hope that helps! I would recommend seeking out DUTCH hormone testing as a good first step!
Not always, it depends on the case. Often all the functional medicine GI testing can be a bit overkill. If the case warrants it then yes. Good question!
I am assuming heavy metals play a part here ( environmental damage ). What if you have tested for heavy metals in the tissues , cadmium, cobalt etc not the usual kind. Also Selenium poisoning. If that is all in the tissues what effect can this have on Oestrogen re absorbtion? Do you have any videos on this ?
Love the content

@@DrAlexandraMayer Definitely this helped.Thanks a lot
also, so potentially you need all the GI testing before a dutch test?

I’m sorry I don’t. Environment medicine is definitely not my specialty. There are clinics/doctors when environmental medicine is their focus.
