Next year MTV needs to invite Band Maid too!
They have opened for Muse 9 times! Muse is their idols and one of their inspirations. They have previously covered Hysteria and Resistance. Their superpower is live performances. The MTV producer said “Holy shit! I’m a fan!” Any song from their Teatro Metropolitan concert of August 2022 (shot in 4k and HD audio) is better than you can imagine.
yeah, that caught my attention as well, their sound engineers in live performances are magicians, because their live performances are at the least on par with but generally better than studio recordings, I can't even understand how that's possible, but hey they are Gen Z's successor to Metallica, Rush and Heart...I fucking love it
This is more of a normal song for The Warning, but they experiment with genres and mix genres, hard rock, metal, grunge, punk, new wave, and they have said that they even throw in some k-pop elements. Try 'Disciple', 'Error', 'Money', and 'Dull Knives (Cut Better)' for some more of their heavier stuff.
I almost think they are their own genera... " _The Warning_ sound"...
Like most fans say, they are way better live than their studio recordings.. and the studio versions are killer 🤘 probably the best power trio of my time or band in general

You will enjoy their studio video also, they are so different from their live performances that it's like getting to songs for the price of one. The studio version for this particular song very unique and very well lit so you can see their playing detail. The fans will fill you in on the detail that make the recording unique and even more mind-blowing.

You’ll hear a lot of TWA refer to TW as a “studio quality live band” and it is absolutely true.
Their OMV’s are very good as well.
TW have gone on record saying that their goal in the studio is to actually capture their live sound because they are so good live.
That is contrary to many bands who’s greatest hope is to sound close to as good live as they do in the studio.
These young women are naturally talented performers but that doesn’t mean they haven’t worked diligently at perfecting their stage presence. They actually have full length mirrors in their home studio, TW Cave, so they can constantly critique themselves on the kind of show they are presenting to an audience while they’re practicing. They leave no stone unturned or any detail not addressed when it comes to live performances and that has been honed to a razors edge over their 10 year odyssey as a professional band.
TWA will support you as well, if not better, than any fan base if you continue down your path of TW discovery. Take Care!

Very much enjoyed your city on that visit and others since then. Beautiful downtown area with all the restored and repurposed buildings with such great architecture and I very much enjoyed walking around the area (Union Station and 16th and 17th St I believe) before I went to the concert.
The phrase I read somewhere (probably here on YT) captured their work fairly succinctly: "While most bands try to capture their studio sound when on stage, _The Warning_ tries to capture their *stage sound* in the studio."

Keep going with live performances of this band. They have several live recordings that are professionally mixed, so they have the quality of studio recordings with the power of a live show. Go with any of the songs on their RUclips channel from the Teatro Metropólitan show 8/29/22. "Disciple" is a fan favorite, but I always tell people to start with "Z" because it's the show opener. You can't go wrong with anything from that show!

Their live Teatro Metropolitan show sounds great! I recommend Disciple and Queen of the Murder Scene from that concert.

Yes please! Would definitely enjoy a reaction to the official music video for "Evolve". They are most definitely best experienced live, but they also have some very nice official videos. Also, pick any song (or watch the entire concert in order) from their Teatro Metropolitan performance and you cannot go wrong. Every song is really something special. These ladies do not compose anything mediocre. I've enjoyed your reactions to my favorite band and would love to see more. Peace! 🤘

And that's how you do it! TW is best appreciated live. This was the only, apart from MORE also with TW, one-take recordings at MTV. All other bands (most lip syncing) needed all 3 takes. But, enters, TW at the end of the day, and the crowd went wild. The lead sound engineer was heard to say "Holy shit" and he came by them at the end and added "Holy shit, I'm a fan". TW is pure energy. And, you won't run out of material to react to - they have 49+ originals, no bad songs + some amazing covers mostly done when they were young. They have 10y experience performing live and that show. Next? May I suggest you start with their TW live @ Teatro Metropolitan, CDMX from aug. 2022? Start from the opening song, called Z, and move along.

You feel that there is a difference in style between ‘More’ and ‘Evolve’. The video for ‘More’ is somewhat misleading. They performed ‘More’ with ‘Evolve’ on the same stage. Same song, no difference, but ‘More’ live on stage will blow your socks off!! Speaking of Muse Dany of The Warning received a guitar from the Muse as a token of their admiration for the band.
Not many bands sound better live. That’s why The Warning is at another level.
Believe me, they are better live. Anything from Teatro Metropolitan CDMX is a must. One of the best concerts ever. I would recommend Disciple, Z, Animosity, Queen of the Murder Scene and Dust to Dust all from the same concert at CDMX. The sound and Camera quality of thsi concert is top notch as it was professionally done. Please react to more Warning.
Over 10 yr's as a band, almost 50 originals released (all bangers), 2EP's, 3 Albums (1 a concept album) 2 singles and a new album recorded and due to be released next yr. The rabbit hole is deep with these stunning women. I highly recommend the journey. Jump Jump Jump.
Live is always the way to to with The Warning. They did a whole Pro Shot concert from the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City last year. Check it out. All the songs are great.
Dany’s facial expressions are fucking next level. Ale is in mega rockstar mode. Pau..well Pau is on steroids. Next legit super group. Their live blows away their studio.
Comparing them to Muse might be one of the highest compliments you can pay them, they've idolized them since they were kids. I'm so stoked to see where these young ladies go!
this was such a huge and powerful exhibition they gave with the short time they were given... they performed two songs, *More* (done first) and this one, *Evolve* which is certainly a fan favorite... Pau, the drummer, came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either... i understand that MTV is still looking for their roof LOL
watch Pau closely... you can see her preparing herself, taking a deep breath, shaking her head, and firing her "Scream of Evolution" toward the heavens releasing all of her frustrations and pain so she can *Evolve* and grow past them 😜... she has described it in similar fashion and brings it for real each and every time they present this hard rocking power ballad in concert or live sessions...
Pau has also stated that playing here on this stage was a very surreal moment... the stage was very much like the stage in the game Rock Band... i can easily see that they might have felt as if they had been transported into the game... i'm sure they imagined similar when they were playing the game as children and just beginning to find their path in life...
Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ...

TW is the best live band I've ever experienced and first band I've ever listened to that I actually prefer live versions of their songs. Having said that, the OMV of this song is also worth watching. You're just scratching the surface on their incredible catalog of music. This is also the only band I've ever followed that doesn't have a single song I dislike. Their entire catalog is incredible. I would suggest DIsciple or Choke next and preferably their live performance at the Teatro Metropolitan. But anything from that concert is spectacular. If you want something totally different, try Revenant also from the Teatro Metropolitan performance.
Now you've been seriously "Warned" if you do the ones The Warning Army fan request, you can't miss on live sound & performance... Live at Teatro Metropolitan cdmx 2022 .. 22 songs of pure pleasure & energy and great sound . Official Music videos are great.. live is greater... TWA🤟🎶☮️
Speaking of Muse, Matt Bellamy gifted Dany a yellow Manson guitar while they were on tour together over the summer. One of a kind, set up per Dany's specs.
Basically anything from the Teatro Metropolitan show from late 2022. They have a knack for keeping the recording sound and live sound pretty close... except that you cannot beat the energy they bring to a live show.

I totally recognize the *thump* sound of cats wrestling. It's pretty much a constant in our household. I generally ignore it until we start hearing protesting squeaks and squeals - to say nothing of outright "fighting sounds". Two kittens and two adults, evenly split male and female... and the oldest female is deaf and hates everyone. The male adult is younger, although far from a kitten... and the "kittens" are eight months old at this point, growing fast, and becoming "teens" (in cat years). Yes; it's only slightly controlled chaos. 😸

Enjoyed the reaction! I love every version of Evolve I've seen. It would definitely be interesting to compare this to their official music video - sound quality to sound quality, vocals to vocals, performance to performance. Bear in mind that the official music video is now two and a half years old - 10% of Pau's life ago LOL!

The Warning's "biggest" problem by now may be they sure have evolved and the people want more. Exactly the two titles that they played at the VMA awards. So, Kay said he wants to compare this live version with the studio version that indeed sounds a little bit "outdated" nowadays. Ale (the bassist) turned 19 yesterday - the studio-version is about 2(?) years old and sounds flat against this live-version (still great - but well, we all have eyes to see and ears to hear). Everyone said they were great since a few years - they are, but they evolved, nowadays they are even greater, crisper, sharper - I would also say heavier (in sound and in form of overall impact). At their age 2 years will have a big, big impact on them. We will see what 2024 brings for them. Everyone really wants to see them live cause everyone saw this and that concert (or even a few) and well - they are awesome. The other group wants to hear new stuff, the next group wants to have more "behind the scenes". Gladly they have a "thinkfull" management who is keeping it all in place and seems not to overwhelm them with all the stuff combined. The three sisters sure can see what is going on around them. I currently don't see the risk of a breakdown for any of them cause they really want it that way but ... well, they are great and they will become even greater, however this is possible.
Nice Reaction! As far as live performances go and them sounding good, no band sounds good if you're listening to them when it was recorded on a cell phone. They did a concert in August 2022 at Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City and The Warning recorded it and it is amazing. Sound is great, lighting is great and they used multiple camera's. Their father listened to classic rock when they were growing up and Muse is one of his favorites. Plus when they were young they got the Rock Band video game, which is what gave them the idea that they wanted to form a band.
Watch the music video for "Evolve." Continue with the Teatro Metropolitan full concert. Watch it song by song. Muse is their mutual, consensus favorite band. Matt Bellamy of Muse gifted Daniela (the guitarist) a custom Manson guitar last summer during their European tour. Matt is part owner of Manson guitars and had it made for her.
The studio version video of Evolve is also amazing (scream included). The song Disciple video or live version at Teatro Metropolitan are great. Actually everything from Teatro Metropolitan is great. I also suggest you watch the video that started it all in the 2014 version of Enter Sandman, then the official music video of Enter Sandman (done for the Metallica Blacklist anniversary album) and then the live version from Teatro Metropolitan.
They are always better LIVE! The official live videos from their channel are all top notch video and audio. The 4 venues that they have done with pro audio and video are: Liceo (they were VERY young and it live from their school), Dakota Bar (did all of their first album), Lunario (they did all of their second album), Teatro Metropolitan (they did all of their third album). Their are other live performances scattered in as well, like from Foro Didi and from The Whiskey-a-go-go. Enjoy!

I usually like to listen to the studio version of any song first then look at the band live playing the song.
More is good, especially live, but Evolve is a totally different beast! And while their studio recordings are great, live is where they shine, and you miss their awesome stage presence, and interactions with eachother and the crowd if you only stick to the studio versions.
They are incredible performers live is the best way to watch TW any song from Teatro Met last year is great. Disciple is a real banger the drummer and guitarist share the lead vocals.🔥 The MV for this is really good it shows Pau killing it on the drums you should react to it. Their show at Teatro Metropolitan is one of the best live rock shows recorded in a decade. Sound and video quality are outstanding. And the performance is even better. You will enjoy reacting to those videos from their channel. Disciple is often where people start. Or 23 for more of a power ballad.
The studio OMV is also epic, mostly because you can hear everything and watch Paulina smash her drums like a monster ! Highly recommended.

They are so much better live. Nothing wrong with the studio material or official videos, but their live performances have another dimension. Any live video from Teatro Metropolitan has studio quality audio. Professionally shot and edited by the band. Available on their channel.
You can split the difference and do Error next. The official video has live footage interspersed throughout so you get the studio audio and the live feel.
Same for their video of Money. It is pro-shot concert footage with the studio audio. Shot in Mexico City when they opened for the Foo Fighters.

Great reaction from you two! As many here have rightly suggested, you should check out their concert from last year at the Teatro Metropolitan in Mexico City. Super high quality audio and video! It’s a great way to cover many of their current catalog along with terrific older songs like Dust to Dust and Survive. Also, their version of Enter Sandman at this concert is phenomenal but suggest you first check out their original rendition in 2014 that was the performance that put them on the map with now over 25 million views.
After which you should check out their version that Metallica out on its Blacklist album in 2021. Then wrap up with their performance at the Teatro Metropolitan last year. Enjoy this ride. Thousands are excited to share it with you!

Atm YT always wants reactions to the live version of the songs. Don't know why.
I like their new live songs! Dani made such a progression. And they always bring this crazy energy on stage.
But in my car I always listen to the studio versions! Especially their older live versions weren't as good as the studio version.
But it's the energy and the way they perform, that makes live versions on YT sometimes first choice.

The studio version sounds identical but you can't her the drummer's (Paulina's) scream as well. If you really want to see an epic music video of theirs check out "Martirio". That video is one of only two songs they do in Spanish. I don't even speak spanish and don't need too, after the first time I heard it i've been trying to sing along with it (in Spanish) ever since. There's a part near the end that I can't seem to get past because I always start crying. I'm crying right now just thinking about how to tell you about it. This song is Strong and Powerful and Beautiful and I can do this all day but I'll run out of adjectives and still feel I haven't done it justice. Don't miss this one on your Warning journey.
