Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. The band started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarist 24, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 19.
They have opened for the Killers, Stryper, Def Leppard, Foo Fighters, Guns ‘n Roses (twice), and Muse (nine times). They have toured with Three days Grace, Halestorm and the Pretty Reckless. Over the last two years they played over 175 concerts in 14 countries including at the MTV VMAs in 2023. They met Band Maid at a festival both were playing. In 2024 they will play Shiprock, Tecate P’al Norte Festival in Monterrey, Vive Latino festival in Mexico City, tour Europe, Mad Cool festival in Madrid, and the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany.
They are classically trained pianists; Dany & Ale have played sax in the past. All three sing lead and background vocals; Dany is the principal singer. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They were on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. Later, all graduated high school through home schooling. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015.
They started as a cover band; the Enter Sandman cover launched their career. They now have 49 original songs with one being an unreleased performed song. They debuted two new unreleased songs at their Guadalajara concert; one of which was just released. No bad songs. Their newest released single, Sick, came out February 2nd. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances.

Greatest gen z rock group in the world, currently! Power trio that plays their instruments like virtuosos, sing like rock divas, look like supermodels, write meaningful deep relevant and thought provoking lyrics, and aren’t controlled by anybody other than their own decisions…. The producer of the MTV Extended Stage had never heard of them but as soon as they finished he couldn’t stop saying “Holy Shit!” up in the control room. No exaggeration, he was captured on video. These ladies know how to bring the goods to every single performance they do, and they have zero bad songs. I don’t think they could write a mediocre song if they tried. I hope you continue to explore them. Check their new song S!CK. Just released. Get it while it’s hot. (Truthfully it’s gonna stay hot.)

‘Enter Sandman’. Bought Metallicas ‘Blascklist’ album when it came out. Pressed play & my life forever changed. The first song blew me away & sent me down a rabbit hole from which I’ve (gladly, willingly) never escaped from. It starts harmlessly enough checking their RUclips channel for some music videos …. Then then next thing you know it’s 3am and you’re watching a 7yo Pau slaying Hannah Montana on her drum kit or a 6yo Ale crushing Diabelli on a grand piano. Somewhere in the middle you’ll find 3 teenagers (or less) performing a full rock opera concept album they wrote themselves that rivals anything from Pink Floyd or Queensryche. It’s a fantastic journey, enjoy the ride (with your seatbelt tight😊)

this was such a huge and powerful exhibition they gave with the short time they were given... they performed two songs, *More* (done first) and this one, *Evolve* which is certainly a fan favorite... Pau (drums) came up with *Evolve* after watching a documentary about evolution and gene manipulation... this isn't the first time she has drawn inspiration from a TV show or movie, either... i understand that MTV is still looking for their roof LOL
i'm quite proud and happy for DPA/TW for making these milestone appearances at two MTV functions, the MIAW in CDMX (back in Aug 2023) and the VMAs in NY&NJ (Extended Stage) (in Sep 2023)... three additional milestones are 1) they are the first Mexican band to perform at the VMAs, and 2) they were invited to perform, and 3) they were not nominated for anything... that speaks volumes in a great and huge way! now add to that they have been doing this for 10 years and, right now, most of that was while independent... i would also be remiss if i didn't mention that this performance was real unlike the other groups that also performed here... DPA/TW did both of their songs fully live and in one take while the others lip synced and took all three takes of which the ""best"" was selected for airplay... DPA/TW were also the only ones to be announced on the main stage when it was time to present their performance...
watching Pau (drums) firing her "Scream of Evolution" toward the heavens releasing all of her frustrations and pain so she can Evolve and grow past them is always a treat 😜... she has described it in similar fashion and brings it for real each and every time they present this hard rocking power ballad in concert or live sessions...
Pau has also stated that playing here on this stage was a very surreal moment... the stage was very much like the stage in the game Rock Band... i can easily see that they might have felt as if they had been transported into the game... i'm sure they imagined similar when they were playing the game as children and just beginning to find their path in life pre-2012 or so... they have just celebrated their 1st 10 years as a band in 2023...
Fun Fact: Pau has three screams/yells that she does... the first, most well known, one in *Evolve* , one in *Z* , and the other in *Hunter* ...

The first song that hooked me on them was their song, "Survive", live at their TEDx presentation from 2017. Absolutely blew me away!

The song Survive from TedX is what drew me in to the band.
Same here. While I had seen the 2014 Enter Sandman video, it was the TEDx performance of Survive that caught my attention and drew me into the band.
The first song I heard from them was "Unmendable" at their 2017 Ted-x talk at UNLV. Just killer stuff at such a young age. I've been hooked ever since. The story of their rise to fame also makes them so unique.

First exposure to them was a video of 10 year old Paulina doing a drum cover of a Kelly Clarkson song. I was clicking around on various drum covers on RUclips and this one caught my attention. Given how old the video was at the time (2012) I need to see if there was anything newer. Surprise surprise, she has a band with her two sisters and they not only crush the covers they've posted, their original music is off the charts fantastic. Do yourself a favor and look into this band.
I’m still waiting for Pau (drummer) to say it’s okay to put my hands down😂. They hooked me with their song Survive from their TedX 2017 performance. After hearing that, I went back and listened to their whole TedX performance which includes three great songs and they talk in between songs so you get to see their personalities, intelligence, and very humble demeanor.

My first song was Survive from their 2017 TedX talk at the University of Las Vegas Nevada. I would suggest any song from their Teatro Metropolitan 2022 performance. If you are going to do songs from their concept album Queen of the Murder Scene, it is best to do them in order so the story makes sense, which is their Lunario CDMX concert. CDMX = Mexico City. Their names are Dany (Dan-nee) guitar, Pau (POW! like the sound she makes) drums, and Ale (Ah-leh) bass guitar. All sing and play piano/keyboards. They have been a band for 10 years now which is amazing considering that Dany is 24, Pau is 22, and Ale is 19. Ale had to miss part of 4th grade so they could make their first record. In addition to their music, there are a lot of interviews, vlogs, and behind the scenes videos. I give you the traditional Warning Army welcome, "You have been Warned!"

I'm so happy to hear you compare the vocals to Heart. The first person I thought of when I first heard Dany's vocals was Ann Wilson. TW is amazing and they don't have a bad song. Others certainly have said all these before me. First one? The first one that the world heard of The Warning? In 2014 when they were 9, 12, and 14 year old. With a near perfect cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman, seen by millions and by Metallica themselves. As young kids they were all classically trained pianists, but covered Gun and Roses, Foo Fighters, Ozzy Osborne and AC\DC. Some of these veteran bands heard of them too and invited The Warning to open for them. They have opened for Def Leopard, Muse, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Foo Fighters, and Guns and Roses, singing original songs! Matt Ballamy of Muse and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm had specially made guitars as a gift to lead guitar and singer Dany of The Warning. Three Days Grace invited Dany to sing with them during their concerts tour together. Metallica invited them to be in the 30th anniversary Black List album and gave them the task of reworking Enter Sandman and make it their own. Their performance of Evolve at the MTV VMA was done live in one take, the only performers to do so. You just witnessed the drummer Pau's legendary 'scream of destruction'. Pau was just recently recognized as The Rock Drummer of the Year 2023! They are young and incredible and are still 'evolving'!
First song the Dystopian video for XXI Century Blood title track, The drummer Pau wrote it at 14, they went to studio with that album when they were between 11 and 16. The video was filmed a bit later by then they were 12 to 17. The video won several awards, but it was the lyrics of the song that captured me. It is pretty vogue in 2024 for artists to question our addiction to social media. Three very young ladies from Monterrey Mexico were already warning us in 2016. The video concludes with You've Been Warned over the logo of one their sponsors at the time.
I chose the song money randomly to check out, not knowing a thing about them....i was hooked by the first "going once, going twice, sold"!!! Then my story is like everyones, i couldnt get enough and dove down the rabbit hole that is The Warning! Enjoy your journey!
The first video I saw of TW was their cover of Enter Sandman from 2014, they were 14, 12, and 9 years old then. Then I watched the complete Foro Didi concert. Have supported them ever since. You may as well do the opening song they performed at the VMAs called "More."
First song I saw was when they released "The Pretender" a cover of the Foo Fighters song about 8 years ago. Alejandra (bass player) was about 11 years old then, Paulina (drummer) was about 15, and Danny (guitar) 17. If you choose any song from their Teatro Metropolitan CDMX performance you can't go wrong. They are just excellent live performers, and many prefer the live takes over their studio/video recordings (not that they're bad - far from it!). They released a new song/video last Friday called S!ck! - perhaps look at that for a recent studio/produced song.
You should check out Dust to Dust! My first was The Warning featuring Alessia Cara Enter Sandman -- the remake for Metallica's Blacklist album celebrating 30th anniversary of the Black album.
