That final judge was rude and biased. My heart goes out to Malika. Her dish looked the most flavorful out of the bunch.

She was being bias, let me explain. She didn't went off of taste, but looks. Jamaican curry is normally stain your teeth yellow. You could tell where the dish is from by the way it look. The only reason why the guy at the end got a ten is because his RUclips recipe is most likely Jamaica based. So she was biased assuming the dise was Jamaican, she wanted Jamaican curry to be proven to be the best. Just like Indian curry you won't find light, Jamaican curry is crazy strong. When the person served roti, that was an automatic disqualification in her eyes btw, because that's not Jamaican. @jourdonpatron212

@ebonyguy19 Did you watch the video? She looked at it and said she didn't like how it looked before tasting it. She then put it in her mouth and didn't chew or swallow. She said she couldn't eat it. Trust me, as a Bahamian, I know what it looks like to be hated for being the best. She was a hater. But we can't help being the best. Our curry may not be the best, but we kill them in almost everything else, other than saltfish.

I like guest judges because they keep things fair, but PLEASE DON’T EVER INVITE THIS PARTICULAR judge back. Not only was she RUDE but she was WRONG! Pick a struggle! if everybody else ate the first plate just fine, there’s no reason she couldn’t taste it and rate it fairly; if she didn’t like it, just take a point or two off, not give it a zero. Secondly, she’s doing all this exaggerated “Rude Gyal Me Irie” Jamaica routine, but apparently she doesn’t even know what authentic Jamaican curry actually tastes like since she thought Trinidadian curry chicken and Haitian/RUclips-Recipe Curry Chicken was Jamaican. Anyway, shout out to Malika who was the TRUE WINNER! And don’t invite that Sister Nancy wannabe back. What a bam bam, indeed!

Honestly, the first lady should've won. The second one was purposely hitting them with lower scores, even tho hers looked the least appealing to eat. Critiquing they didn't have enough gravy, when yours had no rice and a teaspoon of gravy. 😂
So I'm Jamaican too and I kept reading comments about celebrity guest that was just awful. On behalf of Jamaicans, I apologize for that celebrity guess at the end (never heard of her btw lol). Unnecessarily rude, didn't even give a fair taste test to the first girl. But I bet you if she walked into a Jamaican restaurant and served Malika's food that she would have just eaten it without all the theatrics. She seems to have this stereotypical attitude that only a Jamaican can make good curry, which she was proven wrong funny enough.
To the people who invited that guest, I would suggest never inviting her again and maybe just dropping the whole celebrity guest thing in the end. It was such a pleasant video until the very end. I hope that she sees the comments that she received. That absolutely no one was feeling her.

As a half Haitian I don’t know Haitians to make curry chicken, but Haitians can cook so I’m sure it was delicious. I’ve only had it from Trinidad and Jamaica but I have to give it to Jamaica for curry.

Okay, so I'm a Trini. Indeed we say curry chicken, but I gotta push back against my Sister w/her "we speak English" condescension. In English it should be curried (adv.) chicken (noun), not curry chicken. The reality, however, is that the Guyanese say it correctly. Curry is its own thing, and we happen to be cooking our chicken inna di ting. It is a chicken curry that we make, much as I am adamant no Guyanese ever gwan get me seh chicken curry in front their face lmao

Haitians don’t have curry chicken as part of their national/traditional cuisine. This is a first for me. Nowhere in the island makes this dish. But at least he stated that in the video.

Speaking as a trini Kristina misrepresented us with that fry bake & Curry chicken combo. Its either bake with fry shark, bake with aloo (fry potato) or bake & saltfish/smoked herring or even plantain never curry chicken
Chicken is the adjective, curry is the noun, chicken describes the type of curry.
Personally call it what you want, but curry is a genre of food like soup hence chicken soup, or lentil soup. Or beef lasagna as other examples.

I'm a Trini and let the truth be told...The Guyanese version is the closest thing to how we serve curry in Trinidad. No disrespect to anyone, but where do these channels find these people who do not demonstrate a fair representation of the local cuisines. Then bring in guest judges who even makes the waters even muddier. And here this people...I actually agree with the Guyanese.... Chicken curry is correct. Trinis have it messed up... Curry Chicken is wroooong... if you want to say it this way, then it should be Curried Chicken... Just substitute the word Stew in place of Curry and then tell me what makes sense...Love all West Indies... all races and cultures.
