Everything was fresh and even my flour was bought out of state, it's the best for baking, they were macerated and that is what the liquor and sugar. I should have rated them at a 3 and or 4 at best, their cakes sucked particularly the one that won!! But look everyone can't have class...

I think I would’ve loved #3 and #2 would’ve stayed in 2nd place. Pound cake should is a dense, buttery cake, and the great thing about it is that you can eat it plain or add some accoutrements. Ice cream, whipped cream, fruit, icing/glaze, powdered sugar, etc all go great on top. The first two ladies were haters because those strawberries and cream looked divine ❤

The first one is pound cake. It’s not the pound cake from 1985. Back then most pound cakes you had to eat slowly. We ate it ice cream. They actually use damn near a pound of some the ingredients

I think I would’ve loved #3 and #2 would’ve stayed in 2nd place. Pound cake should is a dense, buttery cake, and the great thing about it is that you can eat it plain or add some accoutrements. Ice cream, whipped cream, fruit, icing/glaze, powdered sugar, etc all go great on top. The first two ladies were haters because those strawberries and cream looked divine ❤
