Buss up shut is an extremely flat, soft and flaky bread that is beaten with a long wooden spatula near the end of its preparation. This process makes the bread easy to shred or tear apart its layers to enjoy your curry dish. In Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 it’s called Buss up shut…….some folks also call it buss up shut skin or roti skin
I love how "curry" is different wherever you go it's like every country has a curry but it's not the same thing but it will be absolutely delicious each 👏and 👏every👏time!👏
This video reminded me of a lady I used to work with who was from Trinidad. She would always bring me curry chicken when she made it for her family. Best meal ever and gorgeous accent.

I’m Guyanese & Jamaican, it’s so funny because my Guyanese family say curry chicken 😂😂 Some Guyanese probably say chicken curry because of the Indian backgrounds. Every Indian I know says chicken curry so 😅🤷🏾♀️ Funny enough, the curry itself is definitely different !
I didn’t realize Trinidad had influences from India…. Hearing them say jeera seeds and aloo was surprising to me as they’re Hindi words…. Very interesting!

Influenced and I would say half/ half. How the hell you came to the conclusion of 3/4. Just because you see one type of cuisine being promoted, you can’t just assume we only eat that. Take a trip and see for yourself.
As a Trinidadian myself, to me Janelle could of won by a mile if she didn't make two clear mistakes, using chicken breast and not have any curry sauce, cuz when I first saw it, I was like yep that's dry, and ontop of being dry she serve it with roti skin and I was scared someone was gonna choke 😅😂😂😂
I think this is one of the best ones. Even when they were critical none of them were nasty, it didn't feel like they were trying to score others lower just to win.
I love my curry chicken!! My favorite meal being from Trinidad ! Curry is part of our culture !! I like to bungee my curry and add my shadobeni and pepper and all kind of fresh seasoning !!! Love love love !!! Where can I submit mine so you all can taste lol !!!
I want to give a tip to trinidadians especially who are facing with diabetics take 1 kg of bitter guard and 1 kg of NEEM leafs make chutney take a bowl pour little by little and stand in the bowl and start doing crushing and pour entire paste in the bowl slowly do it like 10-15minutes and you see while you are crushing paste in the bowl your sense bitterness in your tongue do it 4 days . Later you see that there is no need for insulin your sugar will get controlled. This thing will help you in get rid of kidney infection,clears blood. Try guys and get rid of SUGAR naturally.
