I was watching some idiots argue over who did it best and someone said Brandi and I dropped what I was doing to come over and agree. Please record this in the studio so I can listen to it on repeat! Nothing compares to this version.
I love still getting comment notifications like these years after that show. It was a really amazing show and I'm glad many other people have been able to enjoy it since then.
Prince solo live is the most beautiful and moving. ( not the released version with his great backup singer Rosie Gaines) No one can touch him singing it . That's all.
Looking forward to seeing her in June, twice...back to back nights! She's an awesome talent. Oh yeah, she just happens to be opening for Dave Matthews too...sweeet!
Love love love!! Thank you so much for posting this!! So great to hear this from her, and wonderful to hear something different than what everyone else is posting! (Dying Day, Raise Hell, What Can I Say, etc.) lol! Bless you! And great camera work.
Good lord this is awful! It's not meant to be a country rock power ballad. The subtlety of the arrangement from the original was specifically done to showcase Sinead's voice, with its emotional power and restraint. There's no restraint here, just over singing way too much. Just someone shouting the lyrics with no emotion. And no amount of yodeling can hide that...now I know her fans are going to hate on me for this, but that's okay. I'm not going to read any responses, lol. Most keyboard commandos are immature and will respond with name calling because they can't communicate like an adult, so I'm just gonna leave what I said here and not return for the petty arguments.
The Family’s version and Prince’s demo did not have the hook Sinead’s cover did. But Prince later reinterpreted it as a duet with less orchestral backing and it was awesome. Rosie Gaines was a great partner for his duet.
Brandi Carlile was put on this earth to sing this song.
I think Brandi can sing anything so wonderful ❤
This amazing woman can do no wrong. Stunning
We are absolutely not worthy! Damn!
Just tripping along watching Chris Cornell’s version and I see this! Stunning, moving.....WOW.
Nope!! Nothing does compare to Brandi!!!! She is amazing!!!!❤
One of a kind . Vintage.
Michael Parrow yup.

You're welcome so much! Still more uploading ~ I have quite the slow connection...
Great.
Great rendition of a fantastic song. Too bad the lighting and cinematography were so bad.
Sorry, but...OMG!
@torien10 I do what I can, lol!
Somethings need time, bro, like good wine needs ripening
Canzone solo per Sinéad ...
Gawd that kick drum is horrendously badly mixed...ugh.
