Renaissance Center
The Renaissance Center is a complex of seven connected skyscrapers in downtown Detroit, Michigan, United States. The Renaissance Center complex is on the Detroit International Riverfront and is owned and used by General Motors as its world headquarters

This is an absolutely marvelous building and is easily the most recognizable building from anywhere. When you see this building, you instantly think Detroit, Michigan. I was always fascinated by this one and also by the process of when this was built. It is indeed an amazing place and I badly want to see it back in full force like it used to be.
Definitely, we really like this building and how it looks against the Detroit skyline. Sad to hear though that the powers that be are considering demolishing it. Apparently it's a shell of its former self. We wouldn't know as we are not from Detroit but would hate to see it go. Thanks for watching !! 💯

When they first built the Renaissance Center it was regarded as a exclusive, (even reclusive) fortified fort !

I remember when it was built and couldn't believe all the concrete. Wow! Detroit is finally back. Mayor Duggan is doing well after decades of crooked mayors. I'll watch your visit to the other downtown areas. It's nice,safe and clean. Proud of the city and how far it has come back.

Interesting stuff, that was our 1st time there, now I'm hearing news that they might demolish the whole thing ! Crazy 😳
@@jerrivlogs To demolish is absolutely absurd and totally stupid they would even consider! That is our most iconic building seen for miles. So many of us are appalled by this brainstorming and not happy with GM doing a backdoor deal like they did.

i don't like Rencen now everything is gone. I think 2017 had the movie theater and many shops closed too. I just miss that.
Wow thanks for sharing that, we had no idea there used to be a movie theatre and additional shops. Looks like it used to have alot more than we saw. Interesting 👍🏼
They used to have a whole downstairs food court too I believe- when we where there a couple shops remained, but it probably was a shadow of what it once was
