The Olympics is real that’s the difference, he’s wrestling for a medal for his country, a throw away match against someone on tv is different he’s telling the truth lol
It’s impossible for me to see Kurt as an underdog. I saw that once, when he beat the Iranian in the Olympics with a broken neck. You can’t doubt someone after they do that.
I had the same break on Thanksgiving Day 1990. Left arm, compound fracture, both the radius and the ulna completely broken in 2. I took a bump on the hard ground of my back yard playing with a buddy of mine. Now, I was an early teen, 110 lbs wet and nowhere near a tough guy as what a Bob Holly would be, so hopefully that excuses what I'm about to say. Upon landing, I heard that "shotgun" sound, and the next thing I heard was the loudest, shrieking, little girl w/ the lungs of a sasquatch, scream emanating from me. The shrill was so loud that my buddy freaked out and my dad freaked out even more, cussing my friend and verbally assaulting him a half acre through the yard and running home. After the initial pain, it went into this numb but throbbing prevalent pain that persisted into the night until the point where I was out cold from an IV sedation. My Dr reset my arm and that pain was equivalent to the break. It woke me out of an IV induced deep sedation, causing me to swing carelessly into the air with my right arm until making contact with his stupid face. Finish a wrestling match??? Insanity!!
Reminds of the the time Bob Holly was facing Rob Van Dam on WWE's reboot of ECW in late-2006/early'07 and went through a table and ended up with a brutal laceration down his back. He was bleeding like a faucet but kept going for like another 10 minutes!
@@lukethomas6900nah man he was a one of the most legit guys in that ring and he was a needed force in the back hell the current crop of indie guys could use a Bob Holly setting them straight
It definitely sounds like Holly’s arm break was horrible and graphic looking from the X-ray pictures, but I don’t think Kurt understands what a compound fracture actually means. A compound fracture means that the broken portion of the bone actually protrudes through the skin. Where Kurt doesn’t mention anything about seeing blood, or seeing bone, at the break point leads me to believe it wasn’t a compound fracture.
Kurt's in-ring behaviour is quite funny in this segment. He sells his role really well. A prima donna talking down to the peons, and he is peeing on them. Hilarious and talented on the mic.
Whether you like the guy or not, you gotta have a new level of respect for Bob Holly. He continued the match after Kurt's moonsault broke his arm. Many people trashed Bob's actions towards the late Matt Coppatelli but I think I"m the only one who didn't mind Holly potatoed Matt.
Didn't know Matt cappotelli died bless him and his family may he rest in peace. As from Bob I was never a big fan but always knew he was a tough bastard and was actually quite crisp in the ring snug and laid his stiff in nicely He had a beautiful dropkick too
@@eoinreilly3925 Don't get me wrong: Matt's passing is sad but, still, I was fine with Bob being stiff with Cappotelli. Bob always test young guys to see if they can hang or not.
I like how Kurt said he wouldn't keep going with a broken arm but he won a freaking gold medal with a broking freaking neck
Hell yeah! Kurt could continue too

It’s True! It’s damn True!
I know, did he forget. It's documented,1996 summer olympics.. Maybe he means at that point and time in his life.
there's a big difference between a match on smackdown and the olympics
Kurt was such a fn classic, could be a true heel and also and underdog you rooted for. Underated

Bless you Kurt. Can see from your reaction how difficult it was to watch yourself do that. You're a good person
Kurt Angle and Bob Holly neither one of them are going to cry they are both double tough
Guys like bob holly and JBL never get their respect because of the smark dweebs
Paul Bromwell and Kurt Angle make a really good podcasting due
Better than Conrad. He's everywhere for some reason

I remember that. That was a gnarly cut
I agree Bob Holly's a different kind of animal he's double tough for sure
Omg I remember dude just stood up standing there and the film crew just zooming in on his gash he’s up their with mick foley true hardcore champion
I forgot Kurt could cut a pretty good promo.
The only thing freakier is winning the Olympic Gold medal in wrestling with a broken neck.
Hardcore Holly is as tough as they come I miss that guy
You're the only one.
@@lukethomas6900 Check His matches from 2004-2008. He was getting big pops. The crowd loved him, eventhough he was a midcard act.
Right on, man. 🎉

you just kicked my crown ! haha
Both times with Bob was at his peak he got injured. He was over and aiming at Kane and Taker at the time before the broken arm
You kicked me in the crown! :O Now you gotta give

Kurt gonna be coming for Wonderboys "NMF title" soon :) ...solidified legend!

@@juansanchez209 Maybe the office told Bob and other veterans to test the young guys.
Why do you think Holly was stiff to a young Randy Orton?
You can see it kinda bothered Kurt when that part played. His body language
i didn't know lesner broke his neck with a chair.
hello there.
Holly had best drop kick in business
Yes, him along with Orton and Maven
Nah, Scotty Riggs had the best drop kick

I gave this video a thumbs down for the random ads in the middle of the video
Can't believe I used to hate this dude. Kurt you are cool as fuck yo.
