Magic Ben performs "The Cardja Board"

The Ouija Board was invented by Hasbro in 1886 but it has come to be the name that we call a Spirit board or a Talking board. The name "Ouija" is a trademark of Hasbro just like "Scotch Tape" is a trademark of 3M. The Ouija board was not marketed as a way for Spiritualists to contact the dead in a Seance. Its occult connection came later when Pearl Curran popularized its use as a diving tool during World War I (1914-1918). In this magic performance that I created, I am using a "Cardja Board" from the game Sequence which depicts all of the playing cards, and my friend Pat uses it to spirtually connect to a card. Enjoy!
