Magic Ben teaches 2 Bits Plus #coinmagictutorial
Magic Ben teaches 2 Bits Plus. This is an intermediate magic performance that requires some practice to perform smoothly. However, as you can see from my video it can solicit quite a marvelous reaction when done well. For those of you who enjoy pure magic as entertainment you can just watch the first part of the video. If you want to also learn the trick stay on and watch the whole video.

This is a video of my tour of Graceland, the Home of Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley began his music career at Sun Records in 1954 with producer Sam Phillips. Presley (guitar), Scotty Moore (guitar) and Bill Black (Bass) formed his trio. They pioneered rockabilly, a fusion of country, rhythm and blues. In 1955, D. J. Fontana (drums) joined to complete his classic quartet. RCA Victor acquired his c...

Magic Ben teaches "Alvin"
Просмотров 145Месяц назад
In this mystifying magical trick, a spectator merely thinks of a number and then adds their number to a roll of a six-sided die making their number even more random. The spectator looks at a card at their magic number and remembers it. Another person is given a number of cards which represents the secret number so that they also know the magic number. On top of that "Alvin" a wind-up bulldozer ...
Bell Labs Museum Showcase - Optical Tweezers

The Nokia Bell Labs Showcase Museum is at Murray Hill, New Jersey; and I am one of the tour guides. In this Episode of the Bell Labs Showcase Tours, I’ll describe the Nobel Prize winning idea of Optical Tweezers from Arthur Ashkin. Ashkin developed what he called a “single-beam gradient force trap” (what we now call optical tweezers) which used lasers to hold microscopic particles stable in thr...
Magic Ben performs Reverse ESP

Zener Cards were cards used to conduct experiments for extrasensory perception (ESP). Perceptual psychologist Karl Zener designed the cards in the early 1930s for experiments conducted with his colleague, parapsychologist J. B. Rhine. Today call these cards “ESP Cards”. Normally, I’m performing mentalism. I use a combination of my understanding of psychology, my many years as a ASL teacher and ...

Magic Ben performs Synchronicity
Просмотров 932 месяца назад
The dictionary defines Synchronicity as the state of being synchronous. Synchronicity experiences refer to experiences where coincidences between events may be causally unrelated may have another unknown connection. We say that two people are “in sync” when they think alike. In this Magic performance I demonstrate the power of human Synchronicity. Enjoy!
Magic Ben teaches Apples & Oranges

Apples and Oranges is about card selected by a spectator and appears in a piece of fruit (an Apple or an Orange). In magic circles, this magic trick is called the "card to impossible location". You disappear a card in the deck and it appears in an impossible location, in this case in the middle of a selected piece of fruit, an Apple or Orange. Enjoy! -Magic Ben

Magic Ben performs the Invisible Card

In this performance, I have my friend, Neelam, take an invisible deck and take an invisible card from that deck and show it around. She then names a random number and the ethereal card turns into a real card at the named number. Enjoy! -Ben
Magic Ben performs "Bamf!"

My favorite comic book hero is Nightcrawler from the Superhero team X-Men. He has the ability to teleport from one place to another leaving a smell of brimstone and a characteristic “cloud”. In the comics the cloud he leaves behind had the word "Bamf!" in it. This performance is dedicated to him. Enjoy! -Ben

This trick is too confusing.
it takes practice to master this one, and have it be experienced as magical by an audience
Do I need to get a toy wind up card to do the illusion?
You don't have to use a wind-up toy ... you can use any kind of "token" or "magic coin"
This looks like something Tenyo might've put out.
I bought the wind-up toy on Amazon ... just look for wind-up toys.
Oh nice! I haven't been there in years but back in 2010-ish the cosplay was all a bunch of...uh...err...not so family friendly costumes worn by hipsters and influencers whose fandom may be overestimated if you judged it just by the elaborateness of their costumes. Phew...that was hard not just say, "overrun with the hoors!" in a Norm MacDonald voice. Nice to see regular folk dominating the parade!! Great costumes too! Samus!
I have been to GenCon about 10 times over a span of ~25 years, in the 1990s there wasn't much in the way of Cosplay at all. I agree this year the costumes were varied, and mostly "family-friendly". Some of them were incredible, just like the actual characters from the movies, TV shows, and comics.
Now there's a two step process in the video. Number one is watch the performance. Number two is beg Benjamin Cheung for a tutorial.
I would've pretty much said the same thing and said I'm not getting anything from you.
Thank you Ben. I appreciate you taking the time out.
Too much messing up cards with that one, but thanks for the tutorial
Glad to be a part of that trick
I need Magic Ben to teach me something please. It doesn't have to be that one.
Decent enough walk through on the topic. Word of advice for future reference. Get yourself a script, rehearse it. Filler words such as Um and Uh, which are a natural reaction for many people in front of the camera and on stage tend to cause many to lose confidence in the speaker. Try to do away with such things as you will find it greatly improves quality and understanding of your work. GL with YT my guy, always happy to see more people getting into the science sphere here on this site.
That's one that should be sold as a packet illusion instead of tearing cards up.
Absolutely amazing all the things Bell Labs pioneered back when I was growing up. I remember a Bell Labs Special in which the announcer said the amount of salt in the human body was roughly the same as in sea water, and other amazing facts and demonstrations that were , to me, as a kid, so mind blowing.
Yes! As I was studying to be a Bell Labs museum showcase tour guide, I learned a lot about the incredible scientific things that were discovered and the engineering marvels that were created. The Archives have 10,000 items and the showcase only has ~100 things (1% of the total repository), and I just described ~10 big things. So this was just the tip of the iceberg. I hope my video will serve as a launching off point for curious people to explore those topics more
Benjamin Cheung, This is amazing! I subscribed right away!
Thanks for the encouraging words, I'll create more Bell Lab tour videos in the future.
Number one you didn't show the prediction of the page in the book. Number two don't just show the illusions, but teach them too please.
yes, I should have had Crystal verify that it was page 44. I promise you it was indeed page 44. You can see in the video it is ~21% into the 210 page book. It is my prerogative whether I want to break the Magician's code and I choose not to teach this one. There's plenty of youtube channels you can go to learn magic, and if you want to learn ... watch my "Magic Ben teaches" videos.
@@MagicBenTD I was hoping your Magic Ben Teaches was another RUclips channel altogether, but it turns out it's the same as this one which I subbed.
Why are you the only one not wearing a mask?
they are healthcare workers
Is Hiroshima highly radioactive because of the bomb?
Do you do tutorials?
I do have some Magic tutorials/learning videos, look for "Magic Ben TEACHES [something]"
A ouija board wouldn't work if you close your eyes.
Yes, my creation is just inspired from the idea of Ouija board
Really interesting subject! I wonder if it would be possible to design a game that would illustrate all of these paradoxen in its mechanics..?
I designed a game called Paradoxical (which was kickstarted in January 2024) based on Parrondo's Paradox. I created this video because I did a lot of research into Game Theory Paradoxes during the design & development which I thought I would share. Game Theory is full of captivating scenarios with interesting underlying dynamics. I'm sure it would be possible to design a game that incorporates multiple Game Theory Paradoxes.
Wow that was incredible
A paradox is a couple doctors as in a pair or docs.
Yo,try mentalism next time bro 🎉
Tutorial please?
How do you get it to pop a wheelie?
lol! that question asked in jest does touch on an interesting point. You don't have any say over its driving. At all. So you can't be in a hurry (it drives the speed limit). You might be able to contact the "help desk" to stop the car if you want to be let of prematurely?
If it's a hard trick, I enjoy it as a performance; and even watching them being exposed confuses me as to the secret.
I'm glad you enjoy the performance! It really means a lot to me. Many of my performances take a lot of practice and thinking to produce. Thank you
@@MagicBenTD Here's an example of an illusion that I saw the secret to exposed but still couldn't understand how it was done. It's the one where a magician has a spear run through him. I've seen David Cotkin (Copperfield) do it, but I saw the masked magician explain it, and I'm still confused as to how it was done.
Now teach it please.
What if he would've named 13.54?
That was a great trick Ben! I love tricks that involve dice.
Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the performance!

i want to know that if any person want to make his own AI tools then what will be the process.. like which programming languagee he must know and which library he can use
Hi, so it depends on what you are trying to do, but Python is a very powerful and relatively simple programming language to learn and often used for AI-related applications. There are many good books and tutorials for Python. Kivvy is a very good applications development plug-in for Python. Of course, there's a lot of AI tools and applications out there already that you can use such as ChatGPT, Bard, Craiyon.
cool
Glad you liked the performance :)
