Is there a chance all might doesnt have a powerful vestige, because he didnt have an initial quirk? He doesnt have something to add to the singularity besides the use of OFA
@@risingogre8118 I thought that but when AFO was talking he said the personality was there. I dnt think a quirk is necessary to show themselves. I think the users energy is forced into the center of OFA when it’s adopted. That pushed the previous users up. AllMights vestige is too deep and without a quirk and still watching himself I think he is letting things play out as a vestige and letting his actual self do what he can.

I have a theory that all of the users that have no face are still alive. The reason why is because even though we know what all might looks like, he is still just a shadow in one for all. I think every user of OFA goes to that realm when they die. So if they’re still alive, only their remnant is there.
I like that idea of a One For All user being a villain turned hero... considering that Hirokoshi loves Star wars this would be reverse-Anakin

(Personal theory is his quirk was as destructive/deadly as decay but vision based. Scarred his own face in frustration. His living alone in a forest relates directly back to Izuku Midoriya name.)
I like that theory alot. I’ve allways said he’s gonna be heat/laser vision guy cause of the lines.
Maybe he was like Cyclops from X-Men (he can't control his lasers)
I feel like horikoshi needs to be careful what quirks he gives midoriya. they can't be super strong quirks because then he will become so strong that the rest of the heroes will be useless, stuck fighting side battles. and the battles themselves will be mandane. its always better when they use their heads instead of just unleashing one power move after the other. I am looking at you, naruto.
so I 'd rather if it has something to do with the person himself, like said in this video, rather than a super strong quirk.
in the first place, if there was a chance deku might accidentally unlock a deadly quirk, which could be unlocked any time he is emotionally unstable (and he isn't very stable lately) wouldnt it be better for all might to warn him about it? prepare him, for when it happens? try to unlock it steadily instead of just waiting for it to suddenly appear and kill everyone around him? like shigaraki's quirk?
I hope all might has a good reason for doing that.
@@Prene16 Just because Deku gets super strong quirks doesn’t mean he’ll sideline other heroes and to be honest I only see at least two of the remaining quirks being really powerfull. And being real, I doubt All Might is gonna get the chance to tell him cause I see him diying this arc. And I respectfully disagree about what makes a hype battle but that’s just me.

Another good theory video. I've been thinking that the 4th user's quirk may have a sinister or otherwise detrimental effect to the user's wellbeing and that's why he's reluctant to share this info with Deku.

@@unwithering5313 Fair enough but All Might is likely afraid to tell him. It's not the first time he's kept things from Deku and if the 4th user's quirk is indeed dangerous to it's user, he may not know how to tell him (or have the heart to). Especially with everything that's been going on in the story.
I personally think that the fourth user of ofa is the original owner of the quirk :decay.
If you look at the manga, that scar looks more like 2 cracks than a scar.
At the time afo took the quirk from his corpse, and later gave it to shigiraki.
Why toshinori is keeping this aside, it might be the method of awakening the quirk. Murderous intent. cuz the 4th may had a more of an absolute justice morale, which included simply ending the life of those who he deemed too dangerous.
If that does happen Deku is gonna have an internal crisis

yea because deku went berzerk and wanted to basically kill shiggy in that moment he hurt bakugo. So if deku knew that decay was the 4th's, he would have accidentally triggered it and straight up kill shiggy, which could be a good thing knowing that endeavor wanted him dead too, so idk it kind of contradicts itself.
@@Cowculus look the quirk of blackwhip did not manifest immediately when he wanted to capture people before.
IK it may be contradictory, but this is the best shot we have. maybe he has to develop a constant will to kill if necessary. which can happen if deku fights shiggy for more than one time.
@@greentitan0262 i think its becuase once he got to 20%, he was able to access the vestige world. Because at 20% he only had the top of his head and fingers. So he was far enough to make contact and be strong enough to actually manifest those quirks once he was able to. Remember all might said that he didn't want deku to randomly unlock those quirks in the middle of battle or something. So he made that notebook so he could know what he needs to unlock those quirks, and so he doesn't randomly do it.
I know what i said could be confusing because it was all out of control, but remember that he unlocked float because he already experienced floating due to ochaco's quirk, and knew that nana's quirk was float? If he knew that the 4th's quirk could be used to kill since it was decay, then that would mean in that moment when he lost control and wanted to kill shiggy, he LITERALLY would have killed him by manifesting decay at the wrong moment. But yea i could see why you say it kind of contradicts itself, but hey it is what it is. Although, everytime that its revealed that he's able to use more % of OFA, he ends up having enough power to wield another quirk. So either way since he barely unlocked float i doubt hes strong enough to unlock another right after.
Allmight probably had OFA the longest out of the bunch (he's had it since his teens and his in his forties now) and developed it the furthest. So the vestige theory is still vague and "plot convenient". Am telling you fourth was a vigilante

I think Lariat explained that the reason deku is able to unlock the singularity and use the previous quirks is because OFA has gotten stronger and their quirk factors are strong enough to manifest.
Also if he is a villain he could be related to oji harima who’s the third “big villain” along with destro and all for one that gentle mentioned. I’m only saying this because they look like the wear the same white cloak thing cuz other than that it’s a complete crackpot theory of mine
A lot of the theories you do become canon, so, i have a hope this becomes canon too! I would also love an arc or a mini spin off of the past users, they seem like characters with juicy backstories to read

Not so much that it's possible the 4th user was first a villain but the suggestion his own Quirk is the most devastating of any user. Maybe Toshinori found about about this and wants to make sure Izuku gains access to the other Quirks before breaking the news to him. But I could be wrong.

I thought all might said he did experienced the singularity once during the sports festival arc. Also I personally think the 4th user isn't a villain, when you think about it all might said it wasn't just the wicked who were after one for all and when you think about it every hero in my hero academia has their own reasons for becoming heroes. There are those who were after power like endeavor and bakugo, those who are in it for the thrill of battle like miriko and Aizawa, those who seek fame like captain celebrity and those who just generally want to help people like all might and deku

. Think I heard something like this early on in the series. Before it got to Toshinori, I'm pretty sure we were told that the mission of One For All's users was to basically incubate the quirk. Pass it on from one person to another until it was strong enough to be used against All For One. That would mean that considering a person's morality and personal philosophy are new requirements, likely set forth by Nana or her predecessor when they felt the quirk was getting close to fulfilling its purpose. That means that there is every possibility that it was passed on to a villain or two at some point. At that stage, All For One's brother would have only been looking for people who were strong and wanted to overthrow his brother. That could mean a hero, or it could mean a competitor or someone with a grudge against the dark lord. As All For One's role solidified, the quirk could have even been pushed towards the hero side, simply by All For One's distrust of its bearers.
It would be sick if the fourth user is still alive, it could bring massive information of one for all's origin.

THANK YOU!! I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the past users were once villains. To add more credence to these claims in the dream line up preview and in Hero Rising, all the users are given auras. The Second user has a red aura and red eyes over his shadow, the third user was purple aura and yellow eyes over his, and the 4th user also has a Purple aura. Those colors(especially the second user) are typically associated with the dark side and villains. Also There is a video as well as a post that shows All Might's notes in chapter 256 translated and it has some interesting stuff about the 4th user if you've seen it.

In terms of what All Might wrote down in the notebook and what he redacted. He could’ve compiled all the information and reviewed it after the fact. He also probably had to write the book in reverse order because he knew Nana’s history and trying to find the pieces to see who the previous users before her would be a difficult task. This would indicate to me that, besides the first user, the 4th was the one the last written about in any great detail. From what we know, the 2nd and 3rd users are complete mysteries so any history about the 4th user himself would be vague itself. It could’ve been during the 3rd user’s search for a successor he would’ve tried finding someone with a strong quirk even if they could be a hero or villain. It could also potentially mean the quirk was dangerous or self destructive or could’ve evolved with OFA to be dangerous or self destructive. If that were the case, All Might might’ve left it out so Deku wouldn’t use a quirk that could potentially kill him. Like it could rip Deku apart if he uses it, but if Deku sees it as the only way to save 1 person, he’ll use it.

It would be pretty cool if one of the people who inherited OFA wasnt a good person, it could also potentially show that some people can change and lead to a redemption arc for one of the other characters.

I have a bit of a wild theory. I believe there will be a dark twist in the plot and some catastrophic event will happen and destroy most of the hero’s.
The remaining hero’s will respond by using Eri to try and reverse this event. She will evolve her quirk to the point where she can send people back in time. The amount of people she can send back would be limited to the amount of power she can build up so she could only send one or two.
I think they will send Bakugo and Kirishima (Red Riot) back in time and that they are the second and third users of one for all respectively. The outlines of the shadowed second and third vestiges are eerily similar to their character designs.
Lol yeah...you come up with this yourself or did a dozen channels suggest it ;) either way, Hirokoshi loves playing with names you know. Back in time you go, Bakugo. Back you go = Bakugo

Well we now know that the 4th users quirk was danger sense so maybe because of his quirk he was able to avoid all for one until he passed away from natural causes or came down with a disease making him the only user of one for all to die peacefully.
You should do a video on what All-Might may be hiding from Deku and Bakugo in regards to the 4th user! Whatever it is, it can't be good, because of how strongly he didn't want to tell the two about it. Also: there is this one weird panel in Chapter 246 near the end (that shows all of the UA people making progress) that has All-Might looking extremely sad for some reason. Maybe it's connected to what he doesn't want to tell them??

All might appeared within one for all as a incomplete vestige.
If the fourth user was alive he would show up as a incomplete vestige similar to All might.
Something we know about one for all is that it accumulates over time. Let’s assume it is accumulating while they are alive. All might would technically have the most accumulated power in one for all due to him having the quirk for the longest due to not being killed young by all for one.
So this would explain why the quirk is ridiculously strong as soon as Izuku Midoriya got it. Since he would of got all that new power he added to Izuku.
The theory is that the 4th users quirk will be something incredibly brutal and destructive. The only reason why I don’t think this is the case- is because All might has no reason to hide this from Izuku and it would make complete sense that he would tell him about something like that-
Since he wouldn’t want Izuku to do something like that if he didn’t know about it.

I like the Turtle Quirk theory that the Fourth user's quirk was Decay which was stolen and then given to Shiggy and Deku will eventually unlock decay against Shiggy

Maybe his quirk is rage. Deku can grow extremely powerful like when he lost it after bakugo got stabbed. However it is difficult to control. The user might spiral into insanity. This is what led to the 4th user's death
So you enter into a Hulk/Kratos mode but it's deadly for the user, right?

An I the only one who feels bad for thw 5th weilder in panel with all the users of one for all they look like they are in a lot of pain and vary scared.

we figured out that nana was still able to use her quirk after passing OFA onto all might, so it rather copies the quirk rather than take it. Therefore if his quirk did have to do with life longevity, he could very well be alive but chose to stop having OFA after getting into a really risky fight.
also, the lines that AFO makes when it's used is the same mark that he has as a scar on his face. So it could mean that either his quirk could have been used for evil if put into the wrong hands, or AFO could have possibly taken the quirk from him AFTER he passed on OFA, all AFO would have gotten is his quirk and not OFA which is why he talked about not being able to take the OFA beforehand.
4 in Japanese culture could mean something of evil as well.
SIDE NOTE: remember how they said that they didn't know that the first had a quirk. So what if he passed it on not knowing that it worked like that. Also, probably why later the vestiges started to decide if they would actually transfer to another person. And how do we know if the second or third even knew that they passed it on? Did they know how to pass it on? All we know those two could have been evil too?

Another possible reason for why All Might was able to handle 100% right off the bat could be that One for All wasn't as monstrously overpowered when he got it.

It’s a nice theory. But I think it just lacks a little too much evidence for me to believe it. Up until the latest chapter I didn’t even believe the Dabi/Toya theory.
But I think it’s definitely possible that we’ll get an OFA arc, going over the first second and third users. If I’m honest, I reckon the first and second users were in a relationship, and at some point when they were kissing, the first user was thinking a bit about how he didn’t want the quirk AFO had given him, so the quirk was accidentally passed to the second user. Then they discover the process when the second user mysteriously accidentally shows lots of strength. I have no clue about the third user though.
It makes sense a bit cause all might acted weird when meeting deku mom too. Maybe he new him?

My theory is that the 4th user was an anomaly in the chain of users. The vestiges mentioned they have long since passed the concept of quirk singularity. I'm guessing the 4th was the first to open up the path to past vestiges. If he had multiple quirks and tried to hide it, it would make sense for all might not wanting to toss unreliable information to deku. He could still be alive but if the other theory that all for one is preserved inside of one for all he could have been a one for all type of figure at one point.
there is a theory that both Bakugou and Kirishima are the two remaining users of one for all(the remaining two on the far left that are shadowed out) and the whole time travel thing considering the shadows look strikingly similar to Kirishima and bakugou's hero costumes? (totally forgotten where I heard this Theory from though)

for the second and third possessor, I think we can only see shadows not because they're evil or don't want to help ofa, but because they have not been stored yet, so something like they will eventually in a future where they goes in the past. I mean, the second user looks way too similar to an older version of bakugo, but he still has to grow to be like the shadows shape.

I said in someone else's video that had a similar theory that to me, I believe that the fourth user and daigoro fought due to them being on opposite sides, but that the fourth loses the fight despite what wouldve been a fair gap in raw power, realizing that he can't change anything with how he is now he gifts the power to daigoro thinking he is more worthy of it.

I was wondering if the 4th user is alive but possibly ended up in a coma after passing One for All to the 5th user. But your theory is way better.
After you said that the fourth user may had and immortality quirk,I thought it was night eye that was the fourth user and couldn't use OFA anymore but he still avoided death with his quirk and we all know he was the one who saved all might with telling him that if he did go injured he would die well that's what i think about it
The most known/accepted theory is that the fourth was some type of villain or at least not a hero. Also we know deku unlocks quirks by emotions, so my theory is that regret is the emotion that will unlock the 4ths quirk. It would make sense because its an emotion the fourth might have felt often being a villain. Plz reply what you think about this and if you got other theories about how he will unlock it.
Never thought about it but i would assume the 4th is likely dead. This is due to him being the 4th user, maybe he owned a slow aging quirk though. Nana Shimura was the seventh and seemingly died around late 30s-early 40s. Granted its unknown how long any user really had OFA before passing it, the 4th would still presumably be very old if not dead
I like the theory that the 4th user's quirk is decay. That could make for some interesting battles down the line. I also think Deku is gonna need a regeneration quirk if he's going to go up against All for One again.

Honestly, I think you're really close to the mark. I'm pretty confident the fourths quirk is a form of regeneration. All Might is covering it up because Deku is a reckless self destructive goon and if he found out he might inherit self healing he might take his own safety even less seriously.

I lowkey came up with a theory. First, I genuenly think that the 4th user is dead but hear me out. I once heard a youtuber say that, the 4th user might have decay (I forgot which creator TwT) and it would somehow explain how Shigaraki has his current quirk. All for One could of taken it and gave it to Tomura. But that theory had some holes in it, and I believe that the 4th user is Nana Shimura's husband (aka Shigaraki's grandfather) I know kind of sounds weird but there are theories that say AFO is Deku's dad and he's old as hell.
Nana Shimura said that her husband was dead, and if we stick to this theory then it would explain why the 4th user is dead. Shigaraki's parents quirks weren't revealed, so if the 4th user is his grandfather and if he does have decay, then I believe it skiped a generation, which is why he now has decay. The reason why All Might refuses to give info on the 4th user and his background is because he might, just maybe, be Shigaraki's grandfather. I also don't remember All Might telling Midoriya that Nana Shimura was Shigaraki's grandmother as well, but All Might has great respect for his mentor so he doesn't want to bad mouth her.
If One for All has some sort of immortality power, that would explain it. But my theory also has some holes in it so I can't be 100% sure.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't think it would be that.
Just looking at the guy, he seems a little over the top to be a guy with just a longer life spaned. I feel like if that was a power you would keep it pretty casual. Also, when we look at All Might in the void, he's only a ghost looking image. Wouldn't he look like All Might if he was alive? Plus what would be the point of having a guy like this? I just don't see what he could add if he was alive.
It might be true, but I'm more of the idea he was either a villain or he has a berserk kind of power.
What if the 4th user had a healing or regeneration quirk?
The reason why the second and the third user's body are just shadows in the "quirk realm" is because they're still alive. Think about it. Deku was all shadow in the beginning because he was alive, and only when he was on the verge of death he had more of his body in that realm. I don't know if what in trying to say is understandable, I'm still learning English, but I hope i explained myself enough, that's what I think, at least. I base this theory on the "bakugo is the second user" theory, which I believe it's true.
i think All Might definetly had it the longest, he has it since he was roughly 14-15, Nana died when All Might was 18, her som Kotaro was roughly 3-4 years old so we can assume All Might is roughly a 13-14 years or so older than Kotaro, Kotaro’s age at his death is listed at 32, shigaraki was 5 years old at this fime and right now is 20 almost 21 making kotaro roughly 47 and all might roughly 57+ minimum

A huge fault in your theory from the get go Dan is that All Might should technically be fully manifested in the quirk since he had it the longest and was the strongest with it until Deku. Although to play devil's advocate, the reason All Might doesn't manifest properly is because he's quirkless and if and when he dies since he never had a quirk he will not get absorbed into the OFA singularity. So we can get All Might's death and know that there isn't an easy out for Deku to just see him again. This would also mean that when Deku eventually passes it on (if that is the case) he won't exist in the quirk either.

I don't think the vestiges are the dead users. I think they are but memories of them, stored in this mixed DNA/Spirit of OFA. Similar to ghosts, but formed not from the "soul" of the previous users but from these memories of them.
On your other points, the 4th user being alive, I think that's possible. Maybe AM knows he can't reveal him because this person asked to be out of all conflict. And about the 2nd and 3rd, I like your idea of them willingly remaining hidden.
While most of BnHA can be somehow explained in a science fiction way, AFO and OFA have this spiritual part on them that makes it so possible to speak of it on "magic" or "fantasy" terms. And for that reason, I don't think it's outlandish to say that these memories, despite being "just" that, have a will of their own. Just as OFA copies quirks, it's copied the personalities and memories (the soul in a way) of its previous users.
maybe the 4th user is the first person who discover how all for one work and try to use the quirk of the former user of one for all and it shorten its life maybe thats why all might hide the history of the 4th user. and maybe thats why all might did not try to use other quirks of the former user 😅
One Issue I have is the all might not having been the singular because of not having ofa long enough. From what we are told we can surmise all might has held ofa at least 35-40 years. I think the reason he has no solid form is because he never had a quirk. if the vestiges as AFO described it as part of the quirk factor, as known by the "dreams " he would have of those who's quirks he stole. If all might had no quirk except ofa his vestige would be different. (Idk )
I don’t think All Might has had it for that many years. Maybe 20, but not 40. All Might is there, but because he’s not dead only a part of him can be seen.
