- Hey everyone! Welcome to the bar! We got a My Hero Academia Theory today stemming from my suspicion that after the Paranormal Liberation War, Deku will come under scrutiny for his connection to Shigaraki, and the Trial of Izuku Midoriya will result in Deku being Expelled from UA!

I just had a epiphany right now ...
Even if Deku manages to get his involvement with Shigaraki hidden from the public, the League knows, and they can pull another Dabi at any moment. So, I'm pretty certain that his secret will be blow up to everyone.
Then, just like AllMight left for America after getting OfA, Deku is sent too (and maybe the Deku Squad tags along), to escape the Hell that will be Japan with the Hero's under scrutiny and the Paranormal Liberation Front
gaining followers.
Then, Deku, who is in the center of the greatest scandal of the Japanese Hero Society, will have as his American mentor CAPTAIN CELEBRITY!
Side Note:
My Head Canon still is that MidoriDad is the protagonist of the pilot chapter, and he is working for one of the biggest Equipment Manufacturers of the World. And he will be the reason we will have a Arc whole with Mei!

@@VivioSaf Horikoshi likes having the recent episodes tie into what is happening and so it would make sense that with the new anime coming which we all know will be vigilante he probably has it mapped out that either he goes overseas to captain celebrity in the manga when we see him in the anime or maybe we see it happen soon and the anime adaptation of when he leaves for America happens at the same time where we see captain celebrity change as a person and go back to America

It's possible Deku will be questioned after this arc. Even though he basically said Shigaraki was after him multiple times, I'm still hoping Deku can bullshit his way out of it.

What if for some reason someone thinks he is related to Shigaraki. I mean not everyone knows about afo and ofa. So if they see deku and Shigaraki get more and more quirks they might think they are related in some way. And by extension possibly working together at some point

I really don't think there is gonna be a ua after what just happened. 3 cities have been leveled in less than 6 months and not to mention what happened with machia tearing a bloody path to shiggy, any form of status quo has been destroyed. The theory is a good idea but in actuality, I believe that this arc is going to do the exact opposite by having U.A speed up Deku’s OFA training because U.A needs him more than ever now that Shiggy knows who to hurt to trigger Deku. By expelling Deku, the only person that could go toe-to-toe with Shiggy, ultimately leaves U.A vulnerable.

I really like this theory, you brought up some good points about the future of this series, however I'd like to add another element to this theory. Even before Deku unlocked black whip he has been pretty suspicious with him "developing" a quirk way later than normal & being involved in several events regarding the league of villains. One could make the connection that due to Deku being so close to the league of villains, he might have betrayed the heroes and UA. Basically bringing in the whole part of there being a UA traitor with Deku being suspected of one and having to clear his name, with him maybe discovering the true traitor in the process.

i feel like people wouldn’t think deku is a traitor after all he’s done. I think that if he was a traitor, (which i know he definitely isn’t) he would’ve joined the villains side by now and wouldn’t have beaten up shigaraki this bad. After all that has happened i don’t think deku will become a traitor especially after all the villains have done. I feel like deku has done so much good that people wouldn’t suspect him as a traitor and just think there is something they’ve been left out on like important information or i just think that they’ll just ask deku what’s up with everything.

Well he is Aizawa’s problem child. He has a tendency to break rules. He ran off on his own against Stain, Muscular and Gentle. Not to mention the Bakugo rescue plan.

I know everybody wants him to die and everything because he's so mean and abusive to his family but he was going to change and he was going to atone for his sins and I felt like he needs a chance but what dabi just did to his reputation I don't think that's going to happen but I really felt like he needed a chance to change at least it makes me a little sad
It's true, though. There's kinda no point in keeping him alive anymore. I mean, his lungs being burnt is part of it, but he's already served his purpose. As the number 1 hero, he trained Deku, Bakugou, and Todoroki, and has ultimately redeemed himself. The only reason he would end up living would be to face repercussion for being an abusive and neglective father, but Endeavor has already realized his mistakes and has put in a lot of effort to better himself. So unless Eri suddenly shows up, Endeavor is pretty much dead.

Thing is Ida, Shouto, Kirishima and Mono during Kamino kinda already know about Deku having All Might's Quirk, AFO literally says so while they're 6-8 feet away hidden behind a wall
SO CRAZY IDEA: what if Shigaraki can literally pull a chamber of secret and say Izuku is the son of the league of villain's head and WHAT can Izuku say? Nobody expect Inko has seen his dad in 2 fucking years and BAM everyone isn't trusting of Deku cause of that. Blackwhip was explained as "an experimental technique" how can Izuku who people think have a strength boosting quirk explain him saying "fuck gravity" and FLOATING

My theory is that deku will go into a coma, year 2 of U.A will start without him. And this arc, will focus more on the other students, their perspective and how they feel about one of their classmates in coma. Good for character development
Meanwhile, deku will train with the other vestiges of ofa and theyll share experiences and wisdom with izuku, so it'll make great development for izuku and for him to master and get to know ofa better- (Or help out the vestiges with the literally War that's taking place inside him)
The trial will probably be on hold cause the defendant is in a coma

Deku can bs a fake quirk like manifest let me explain when deku does full cowling there's some lightning floating around him he could say he condenses that into whips making it black in the process=black whip
When deku uses his power in full cowling he exudes it from his pores aswell making steady streams of air pressure and he can use that to stay in the air but not fly=float
I thought about this too and technically his OFA is a stockpile not a super strength quirk which means he could say that they arnt actually quirks but rather a different way of manifesting the energy he has stored

@@creativeking I don’t think bakugo really HATES him. I think he hates the idea of deku being better than him, or anyone for that matter, and he just translates that into a hateful behavior. He even comes to terms with that during this arc and feels bad. You know...before he was impaled
Or I was think he could say it’s “energy” coming out of his body that enhances his physical capabilities and manage to convert the energy to float or shaped it into black whip(like energy manipulation)
I have a theory that I'm pretty sure wouldn't happen, it's more of a wish than anything else. Anyway, it would be awesome (imo) if Japan's citizens thought that the heroes weren't good enough to protect them and the only way to stay safe was to join the villains. So the remaining heroes have to go into hiding and try to figure out what to do. Eventually, maybe the heroes from the rest of Asia or something would help them, but I just like that idea of the heroes going into hiding. Now, to go back with your theory, I believe that it has a lot of chances to happen. I am absolutely sure that Deku is going to be questioned about why Shigaraki is so obsessed with him and his quirk in general, but I don't think Endeavor will survive. I don't think Deku would be expelled either, I feel like he would just end up spitting out the truth to class 1a at least and he would go under even more extreme training than ever to be able to defeat Shigaraki

At this point I don’t even know who’s gonna win. If we take into account the people on each side capable of fighting it’s
Shigaraki, Gigantomachia, Dabi, Toga, Mr Compress, Spinner and Skeptic vs Nejire, Shoto, Iida, Manual, Rocklock and maybe Jeanist.
For the heroes to win, Nejire and Jeanist really have to pull up. I can maybe see Nejire taking down the majorly weakened Shigaraki. And maybe Jeanist can restrain Machia considering there’s still the sedative in him. Iida would probably try and take all the wounded away from the fight. And that basically leaves Shoto, Manual and Rocklock vs the league. Shoto can take out Spinner, Skeptic and Dabi easily but he’d definitely have trouble with Compress and Toga.
It’s hard to say who’s even gonna win this war. If the villains win this theory is null and void. If the heroes win its a cool and possible idea.
To hide deku, they bring him to the hero capital of the world to hide and train, the USA, that would be kind of cool right.
Depends on how they depict the US. If it’s just like Japan but bigger, then there’s some problems I got with the world building.

Ok so I don't think it was ever statted how long Deku's dad has been gone I thought I was sence like early 4 late 3 because when deku is diagnosed with no quirk his dad is no where and is never brought on Siren and if I rember correctly by the time they went to the doctor to see if deku had a quick his dad had already been gone for 2 years witch 8s what lead a lot of people to believe Hasashi=AF1. They also both have/had white hair to are knowledge

I don't think Rock Lock would question Deku too much. I mean, the guy certainly knows that Deku fought Kaiju Overhaul on the Sky. Deku Flying isn't a surprise to him, if people can accept him with Black Whip no problem, it'll be a no brainer for Rock Lock.
But still ... he will have to respond why the Hell Shigaraki was targeting him. Plus, there will be no one that can prevent Shigaraki from pulling a Dabi and revealing it to everyone. So, I'm certain that this secret isn't a secret anymore.
If the Paranormal Liberation Front can spin it well enough for the Public to see All Might and Deku for the ones responsible for Shigaraki's existence. Then, Deku could not be allowed to be in public anymore. But, I still think UA and the government will take his and All Might's side.
Okay I can see an interrogation after all this, maybe a small group of the higher ups wanting to know the truth from Deku but I could see All Might stepping in and answering the questions as well
As to being expelled, can't see that, while the parents could be worried, if they find out it was Deku the villains were after, but I see the teachers wanting to keep him away from them and knowing the safest place is him surrounded by heroes, both professional and upcoming, he maybe on some sort of lock down or always require an escort, which could lead to an accidental date with our favorite gravity defying heroine, but when the show is literally called my hero academia I can't imagine deku being expelled from school
With the Hero Society most likely taking a nose dive, the villain society will probably rise. If so, would the world benefit from having a Guild of Calamitous Intent to maintain villainy has more of a career?

I like to call this the Gang War Arc of MHA.
Maybe we’ll see more of the parents of UA students. I had a theory on dark shadow that the quirk mimics the appearance of its user so one of Tokoyami’s parents had some sort of bird or raven quirk and the other had dark shadow but it was more humanoid so basically being a shadowy star platinum. It’d be cool to see more of them either way

Shigaraki is more akin to a terrorist because, from what I know, his goal is to bring down heroes rather than create a new government, which is the reason why civil wars are started.
It would be counted as a civil war if Shigaraki got more followers which forms an army under his leadership with the goal to overthrow the Japanese government to create an entirely new one.
@@hetzer5926 well their roles in this (the villains) is to wreck hero society and steal ofa so in a sense it would be to create a new government as i have said that the heroes are in a sense branched out from the governments. it doesn’t matter whether or not he creates a new government there because here he is trying to overthrow the current system and let a new one seed in time.

Like he might not be able to pass on the quirk later on. They might be like "Your quirk is too powerful to just have one person decide who gets it. We, the government, are gonna make it die with you or we're gonna choose a successor." Damn. You and the other MHA and MHV channels make me think more about the universe that the actual mangas haha.

Well if he gets Accused, Does that mean All Might will be in as well because he is the 8th Succesor of One for All, He also can be fired from keeping a Secret of One for All. For this theory tho.

My prediction is that Midoriya is going to be recovering in a hospital, and he's going to get called out for his behavior during this arc. In response to this, knowing that he has no other option, he will ask that all of his classmates and some of the top heroes come in, and he will tell the full story of One For All. Everything from its origin, to how he met All Might and became his successor, to the multiple quirks dormant within. Afterwards, he'll probably feel down and apologize for lying to them for so long, at which point, Uraraka, Iida and Todoroki will try to comfort him.
What happens next, I cannot say. There is so much that the characters need to process that I don't see anything happening immediately.
Now here's a really good theory what if after this arc if the hero society and UA are done for midoriya and class 1A have to become vigilantes and they end up meeting the main characters of mha vigilantes

I can see Endeavor questioning Dekku in private about why the boy said Shiggy was after him. It would be Rocklock who'd open his big mouth publicly.
Also, wars don't necessarily have a grand scale.
Well if Deku would still win in the end of the war arc, half of the heroes including those witnesses during Deku's battle with Shigi will support his side if THIS did happen... So in short, he won't be in trouble but the only punishment would be his frustration on why he still let Shigi/OFA alive 🤷♂️
I really like the idea of Shigaraki going into tartarus to kill AFO. Shigaraki is probably really eager to get AFO out of his ear or just really has the urge to kill him but he can’t because AFO is i guess you could say “inside him” metaphorically speaking. I bet Shigaraki is getting really annoyed by AFO which you can tell in the manga, so if he did kill AFO he probably would feel better already and he wouldn’t be under his “control” you could say.

Tbh it makes sense that all might would want to keep ofa a secret because if they revealed it everyone woul want it not just villains like everyone would turn into a nighteye saying that someone else should have gotten the quirk insted of izuku
I agree it’s going to be hard for them to find the truth from the public in general because deku was recorded on the news using black- whip and float quirk. So I think they have come to the general public too.

I think that it's going to be very touch and go after this if people survive. A lot of people have died and part of it has to do with the secret of that particular quirk.
I see Endeavor experiencing big injuries, or even dying.
That could put him out of commission long enough so that he can’t say anything about what he’s learned.

i think this is clearly setting up a decent length time skip. deku probably goes off the map to train, the other students continue their studies at ua, and shigaraki recovers and starts planning his next move
Hero society might be over, the endeavor thing, the battle at the manor and gigantomachia's rampage through several towns will be seen as heroes no longer being effective to properly protect the people.
Its very likely that heroes will be outlawed or atleast hated by the people and any one who still wants to be hero will need to flee Japan. Maybe go to America or other places where heroes are still liked.
Would be cool too see how other countries handle super heroes through the eyes of the students, atleast to me.

Nah i dont think so they have their hero licenses and the are trying to become heroes dying for other ppl is part of the job
Naruto's war being more prominent does not mean its the standard to follow, that ish went on for way way WAY too long and so many parts of it focused on absolute wastes of space(gold and silver brothers :P) or bits that were kinda just there for fan service (Zabuza and Haku), it had too many moving parts and and was scattershot.
My Hero is much more compact, focused, and never had any pack filler. Aaaand this is aside the fact there could always be a bigger War futher along from now.
Imagine if the fourth shinobi war was written by Horikoshi.
Naruto war arc is how normally protagonist vs antagonist(good vs evil) war arc played. Protagonist side full of character you care for and antagonist side just have a few and covered with big numbers of zombie like army.
i actually a bit dissapointed with how horikoshi treated other top hero in this arc, they feel like just there to fill numbers.
I wouldn’t mind 50 war arcs tbh
I mean Rock Lock, Endeavor, Shoto, Iida, Manual, Ryukyu, and Eraserhead are the only ones who were present that didn’t already know. Odds are the one not keeping his mouth shut it Manual, but even then that’s only cause he’s not important otherwise. Assuming Gran Torino is still alive, Bakugo, and All Might comes to the 20 person hospital room that will fit all of them, might just have to explain Deku’s quirk. Endeavor might be mad, but realizes that Shoto and Deku would truly be rivals at that point. Rock Lock was impressed with the Work Study students during the Overhaul arc, Ryukyu would probably keep quiet since she saw how useful Deku was during the Overhaul arc while having feelings of self doubt because Nighteye died while she was a hero on duty near him. Shoto, Iida, and Eraserhead would probably be the most in terms of earfuls that Deku’s going to receive due to their relationships but All Might would quiet down at least Iida.

its not a world wide war. Its a civil war, and its only happening in one spot because its trying to be in one spot. The fight would be all over Japan if not for the heroes trying to contain the villain's and not let the fight spread and get civilians in potential danger. I mean the fight was in a selected area and outside areas still go wrecked by Machia. So yes it might not be the biggest in terms of people involved, but its still a war.
Another point that I haven't seen anyone address, the fact that Shigiraki accidentally called Midoriya "Little Brother.", not sure if any of the heroes heard it but that could also cause some confusion and maybe cause everyone to thing Midoriya and Shigiraki are related?
(Would be really funny if it turned out to be true when Midoriya denied it)

I feel like Deku and possibly All Might will go to the USA and have him continue his training there under top top American heroes with similar quirks as the ones he will undoubtedly awaken. This will give time for a light hearted arc or two with a time skip. This time skip will surve as the first half or the entire 2nd year at UA so when he comes back everyone will have become stronger (One Piece 3D2Y situation but only 1 year). During this time the social status of heroes will be at an all time low in Japan and we will most likely have to see how the current students and heroes handle this situation. If Deku is going to become the next pillar of hope then he needs the boost in pure strenght to scare away all the evil.
Shigaraki targeted the UA before he knew the Deku had One for All. Expelling him is like bowing to terrorists.
i do get what you meant by most prominent war arc, and 4th great ninja war defo fits but i do think thousand year blood war was also worth acknowledging, since it does go about it differently but still represents that large scale

so i totally agree on the parents angle but i think they can kinda bullshit their way through all the questions that people will ask because Deku and shiggy already have a relationship pre-war ark and shiggy is already known to despise deku. they could explain it by saying that shiggy wanted to steal deku's power to de-power and demoralize someone who he is known to hate. i also agree that questions will be asked and they should be and also that the vigilantes cast would be awesome to introduce in the show, maybe the crawler could be a mentor.
Nezu will have to keep Izuku around as a beacon for the other classes and not just 1-A. But trying to think how they go about without saying too much. As for new mentors for him, I'd say Rock Lock or even Miruko. Not to mention all of 1-A will have to know by now about him having multiple Quirks. I see how Izuku could be seen as a threat to everyone but no way is he one. Even if a bunch of new villains come from anywhere just to find him, whether or not they were found by Shigaraki.

Wow, this was so good, I'm gonna be mad if it doesn't end this way. I really hope Deku's father gets involved. My only change would be if either UA closes or Deku leaves the country just so we avoid going back to the status quo. We've already seen parents take issue but nothing really change. For this to be really significant, as it should be, a bit of normalcy needs to shift.
I think that at the end of this arc people will know something is weird about Deku's quirk but so much will have happened that it will be put on the back burner for awhile. Only a couple characters will ask him about it. I think endeavor is going to have a han solo kylo ren moment with Dani. So

If Shigi goes to Tartarus to dust AFO then I think it would be because the vestige AFO wants more vestige. By having 2 AFO quirks, and two AFO vestiges, it doubles the power? Maybe? and therefore they can more likely take OFA with said doubled-up power? And if that guy's theory that Deku will also Awaken AFO is right, then we could see 3 AFO vestiges. TRIPLE THE FUN!
Apart from that I don't see much happening with Deku apart from some Questioning. Everyone involved will keep the secret after All Might begs them on bended knee. Then all of them will deal with the public fallout together. Sending Deku to 'Merica! seems like a very possible option now.

To put it in prospective, the biggest war arc that comes to mind in the past couple of years was in Black Clover and THAT took place throughout the entire Clover Kingdom. Even had it where the heroes start back at the edge of the Kingdom in the slums and they had to make their way back to the capitol where all the shit going down was. Hell even the after effects of that war was lingering long before.
The "war" in MHA is a lot more smaller in scale. The fight takes place in one location, not even the entire country of Japan is involved in this, and while there are big players, the effects are not what people are thinking. At least in my eyes. Like some people think the end results of this will lead to the entire destruction of Japan's hero society, but as we are seeing it go down, both sides are taking hits and Shigiraki isn't at his full potential. So I don't know where that thought came from.
Maybe with vigilante coming as probably the new show we will meet captain celebrity at the same time that at the manga Deku has to go to America to train🤔 Horikoshi likes making these things align so that’d make sense plus they could do a naruto and snippy den time skip
