If he was given a regeneration quirk, it would probably only heal recent wounds. Similar to Shigaraki not getting his fingers back when he awoke as AFO Shigaraki.

Mello Lieb that’s not true at all, like he’s always been given power from all might but made it his own through hard work. I feel like these new quirks will get developed and deku will put his own spin on them through hard work and training, cuz rn he can only barely use blackwhip for a second, and he can use 45% but only for an attack I think. So there’s still a long way to go and it’s not like with tomura where deku is literally given power so he’s op. Like he stills gotta grow into it

@Jeeses99 when you read the manga we learn way more about one for all and the past heroes who held one for all. So it is pretty self explanatory but there is still a lot of details we don't know about the quirk.

@@blake3631 I mean, that's all for one taking over Shigaraki's body. If it was actual AFO vs Shigaraki it's a toss up who would win, but all Shigaraki would have to do is touch him, or somehow get AFO pinned to the ground/a surface and touch that.
AFO probably has a better understanding of how the quirks work given that he has had more opportunity to build an understanding of that.

the way you explained how his quirk is harmful for this own body, it's basically confirmed that dabi is in fact touya
(I know that it's highly likely Dabi is Touya, and I believe he is) but could you imagine if this WHOLE time Horikoshi was just screwing around with us, and Touya is actually, legitimately, beyond resurrection attempts, dead and that Dabi isn't related or just not an immediate relative of Endeavor's.

Misbah Kiran I just wish Horikoshi would stop taking so long to just reveal this character’s name, it killed the hype for us. We are almost 7 seasons throughout the manga and have yet to know who he is...

Does Eri’s quirk rewind or “return to a previous state”. I have a theory:
When Overhaul is taunting Deku he says with her quirk you could eventually return a person to a monkey. That’s not an age thing but a previous state of evolution. With Mirio it might be that he was returned to a previous evolutionary path before humanity evolved quirks. Had anyone but Deku been with Eri during the fight their quirk would have been erased but since Deku was born without a quirk she couldn’t return him to a state before his quirk had evolved. Instead she returned him to a state before he was damaged.
If this is true,than Deku breaking his bones should be his next evolution.
Finally someone that makes some actual sense
I think it's just Deku killing himself faster than she can regenerate him to the point of non existance. That's why it was so hard for both of them at the end of the fight. one had to kill himself EVEN FASTER THAN HE EVER HAD TO BEFORE, and then one couldn't control there power. Pretty scary..
Rewind and return to a previous state is basically the same thing when applied to humans. Mirio's quirk factor was changed to a point where it was either not active or hadn't come into existence.

Orverhaul explained Eri’s Power when she uses it and the power that was taken from her are two different things. The rewinding Evolution was an awakening of her power that is why the drugs was actually hard to make. Normal eri can only rewind that person into a previous state albeit all the way back to non existence but if her power is pushed to The absolute limit and awaked to its full state. (A Phenomenon we have seen in the manga) she can rewind Evolution like the quirk bullets.
Why rewind Dabi who is alive when he could try to find twice's dead body and see if he can use rewind to bring Twice back?
I sure do HOPE that's how regeneration works, twice is just- he deserves so much more.

I'm talking about the if Shigaraki gets rewind why would he use it on someone alive when he could use it to Rewind Twice's death. I'm sure that since death comes after life that quirk could undo it. In my eyes Dabi is not in desperate need of a make over, they how ever are in need of Twice's quirk, and correct me if I am wrong, but even if Shigaraki has his quirk, ain't it better to have two people with Twice's Quirk? He can give Dabi the regeneration quirk, bring Twice back, have him replicate Dabi and the nomus, and the league, thus bringing the ace they lost back. Now you get at what I'm getting at?
@@artdeltanino9566 I'm very doubtful of rewind being able to bring people back at all, but even if it were able to do that, I think it would probably work like overhaul where he needs to get to them by a certain time or else his quirk can't bring them back.

I don't think we would see Dabi vs Endeavor but Dabi vs Kachan
I could definitely see maybe Tomura giving him Super-Regen once the League gets to Jaku and Dabi starts fighting Endeavor, maybe in response to Endeavor going all-out with an attack that would severely injure Dabi otherwise. Maybe Endeavor blasts his face off and it ends up healing his face. That sounds like it could be a good way to go about the reveal.
And Tomura would definitely do it, I think; he's not so greedy that he would horde quirks when giving them to his allies would still be having those quirks work for him and keeping the others alive. "[His] friends are irreplaceable" after all.

By the way, even if he can regenerate, I think Endeavor could hold his own against him long enough, whereas Shoto might be able to defeat him.
What if dabi awakens his quirk? His new ability could be called Phoenix flame, and after a certain amount of damage to his body he regenerates completely like a phoenix would.

I would totally join the villains if we could see what Dabi looks like without his scars, what Shigaraki looks like after some lotion, and what they would look like as heroes.
What if Dabi gets Shigaraki to use AFO on Todoroki’s mom since she has ice powers and he could get powers similar to shoto so he could regulate his body temp as to not overheat, and this would be how they confirmed their relationship?

I think that heat resistance/immunity makes more sense, but then I don’t really understand how quirks fuse like how the one for all quirk was created out of 2 quirks merging together.
Yeah, i think a ultra-regeneration quirk would be a little too op. It'd be more interesting if he got a vitality/resistance quirk.

@@Oscar-vv6dn Well personally, I think Shoto's already more powerful than Dabi, and he's still developing. Kid's still got two years of school left. Dabi has stronger fire, but it feels like he needs a big jump to actually get at Shoto's level. And if that jump is so big it actually puts him past Shoto _for now,_ I'd be fine with it. Like I said, 2 years of training left still.
So now Shiggy can give the league more quirks here’s some ideas
Toga: more blood related quirks, if he had stains too it’d be pretty powerful, or a blood control quirk, like bloodbending in ATLA, that would mean she could extract blood from people from a distance.
Compress: some sort of quirk to give him range, right now he has to touch the target, so something like meatball where he can telekinetically control his flesh, also some sort of storage quirk that would let him store away his marbles in a pocket dimension for example
Dabi: Ofc regen like suggested here bus what If he got an ice quirk too? Him getting Getin’s would make him an Ben more powerful counter to Shoto
Spinner: idk maybe something to play more into his lizard look, camouflage like a chameleon, a long tounge, this is just Tsu at this point tho
Dabi could just get a fire immunity quirk
Spinner should have those quirks, including poisoning skin/claws/mouth, if he had only one more quirk he'd still be weak.
Ivan S. yeah poison would suit him really well. They could give him fire breath and wings to make him like a dragon but idk that might be a bit far

The bullet reverts genetic material to a time before humanity had quirks; hence why overhaul said in theory she could rewind someone into a monkey. So the quirk factor isn’t just disabled, it’s totally gone

I imagine Shiguraki dusting the members of the league of villains, and sparing Dabi and Toga. He gives them each a special power, telling them that they are “still useful”
I can also imagine a situation where Shigeraki gets a hold of Deku, only to find no quirks. Then either Endeavor or Bakugo come up and attack with One For All. This makes Deku give people powers in canon, like in Heroes Rising. I feel like Deku giving powers to people will be a thing in his future

If Dabi loses his scars he might cause Endeavor to try to talk him out of Dabi’s role of being a villain.
I think the one’s most likely to talk him out and it actually working are if it’s his other siblings (Fuyumi and/or Natsuo, Shoto not so much bc he was very young back then), and most importantly, his mom.

I personally believe that regeneration wouldn't work for Dabi because I recall Endeavour saying in my hero aca S2 ep18 "Incinerated cells can't regenerate" when he killed the black nomu with BLUE flames. But other then that great video 😁
Eh, he's just got to be careful to not damage himself beyond what Super Regen can repair. Failing that he can just cut his arm off when necessary. It can't be that much worse than setting yourself on fire to launch an attack.

Right, but if you burn your cells too far even if you have super regeneration you wont be able to heal them. Like when Endeavor burned that one Nomu's head off. Maybe Shigaraki can rewind Dabi's weakness to fire by getting rid of part of his mothers sensitivity to fire.
What if his quirk already works that way?
I mean like a phoenix. When reaching a certain point, he gets back to full physical health, and then his flames eating him away all over again, like a loop.

Depends, if this was the case then Shigaraki would also be able to get his fingers back if he amputated his arm. We’ve not seen people with pre-existing injuries lose a limb yet

With shiggy have AfO and looking back @ how much shiggy actually cares for his own group there's no question that everyone is getting a upgrade in the future. Spinner and toga I can see having a relationship bc both can be really good at stealth missions. With toga ability to be anyone she wants, and spinner gaining new abilities lets say from the tail guy from class 1A (I don't believe he's gonna make it) and froggy (I forgot her name) spinner can be a real handful if he believe in stain ideology like he say he does
Big one, Shigi sends a Nomu to get Eri. Eri rewinds Mirio's quirk to when he had it, if rewind can work like that. His quirk is evolved to where he can permeate things that he passes through for a period of time or something like that. He defeats the Nomu and maybe he joins the fight or he stays behind in case Shigi sends more. Something like that

It would make a great moment if Dabi get’s his scars and hair color rewinded and then Shota and Endeavor recognize him as Toya
I prefer him with the scars because like you said it's iconic but would be interesting to see his folks reaction to him without the scars.
Since Shigaraki has All for One he can possibly heal and modify Dabi body so his body can handle his qurik which then with his healed body reveal he is Toya Todoroki.
dabi has the best design in the entire series i would be enraged if they made him lose his burns and stitches they make him look so badass

I have a hunch that Shiggy will give Dabi HIS own Super Regen. It’d make Shiggy a bit less OP, and make Dabi considerably stronger.
Honestly, if he did that for all the lieutenants, it could be a good basis for a future villain POV arc with bigger dangers than the MLA arc. Shigaraki would be bringing himself down to bring all his allies up to allow for a more balanced confrontation against more serious opponents; say the military or some HC-made Nomu "heroes," something to that effect.
Best part is, he could take the enemies quirks afterwords in order to become OP again in time for his next arc as the antagonist.
