I imagine a geeky quirk research scientist who mumbles all the time, and somehow related to Endeavor that's skinny as hell.
And potentially the MOST wholesome character who cries tears of joy everytime.

i had a theory that the guy in the jet was deku's dad instead of best jeanist. and now after watching this video i realized that the idea of dekus dad showing up isn't too far fetched. Think about it, japan is his home or we can at least say his family was created in Japan. Then its not too out of the question that during all this crisis he would want to come to japan and try to save or see his family and check if they're all right.
You might say that he would have no way of knowing whats going on right now, but the idea of him being tuned in to japans radio or tv or something isn't impossible, And if that's not good enough for you, you can also argue that maybe deku's mom called him when she saw what was going on, since everything is being broadcasted in Japan.
Another interesting thing to note, is that Deku's moms bike was appeared to be spotted in one of the chapters. This can be foreshadowing lots of things one of the most popular being that she died due to Machia, but it could be insinuating that dekus family is about to appear in a manner more bigger than we think.
This is just a theory, I personally think the students will go to America and we'll see dekus dad there but you never know, until you do.
I wonder if something like the American army will fly in to help with the clean-up effort, like what would happen in real-life between allied countries and Deku’s dad will come in on the back of that

Or maybe the students would be evacuated or something like that, but I think America just might be important in the following chapters
Izuku's father might be a scientist, but i don't think he would be a quirk scientist but rather a hero prosthetics scientist. This would make more sense to bring him back
All for one = Darth Sidious/The Emperor (all mighty devil that wants to rule everything)
Shigiraki = Darth Vader (Tragic upbringing that led them to darkness despite having so much potential to bring good and is led to evil by a devil like figure who treats them with respect )
All might = Obi-wan (symbol of a past era of peace that failed to prevent a villain to arise Vader/shigiraki)
Torino = Yoda (small agile mentor that is deceptively wise and tough)
Deku = Luke (boys that come from nothing to becoming a hero and stopping the villains with both his power/skill and will of character)
Bakugo = Han Solo? (Short tempered hot shot that deep down has a good heart and come around to help save the day)

Both possessed excessively dangerous potential (Anakin being the chosen one and shiggy with his op Decay quirk). Both undergo operations that end with them being the perfect instrument of evil (Vader with his suit after mustafar and shiggy with his operation to receive All for one) but both are incomplete (as Vader due to suit is hampered and vulnerable to lightning and George Lucas saying he’s about 80% of the emperors power and shiggy with the operation being only 70% complete) both are mangled and disfigured (Vader from lava and shiggy right now from Deku beat down and also being burned alive by endeavor you know like how Vader was burned alive) both are implied to have good deep down within. And their masters are all
Powerful devils that also have damaged disfigured bodies.

I am certain I skipped her, I couldnt stand listening to her in the anime... maybe I shouldn't do that in the future... but OH PLEASE ANIME PRODUCERS PLEASE you don't have to make your japanese voice actors pretend to be american people who try to speak japanese, it sounds worse than japanese voice actors speaking english...

And the girl you’re talking about from class 1-B is a American transfer student and I’m guessing that she’s learning how to speak Japanese and that’s why they made her sound like that not sure if that’s the case but her voice was very high pitched in both sub and dub
So I think your onto something with Deku's dad being a scientist. It is a stretch, but Hisashi Midoriya could have caused the fire that spread throughout that building. His quirk was identified in the beginning of the series as being able to breath fire. We also know at the beginning of the series he went to America.
"His name, Hisashi, roughly means "a long time ago". It is a reference to the sentence hisashiburi (久しぶり?), which means "it has been a while (since I last saw you)", hinting at his absence in the story. So at some point as you already stated Deku Father is going to have an impact on Deku journey to becoming the number one hero. Now whether that will be positive or negative it is still early to tell.

Enjoyed the vid, one point I do wanna make is that AFO might not know he has a son, he has lived more than a hundred years and I don’t believe he wasn’t having sex for pleasure. Herovation Well, here’s the thing bro. AFO has proved time and time again to be possessive of family. He locked his brother in a vault, and even says in the anime “you’re dear to me”. He isn’t saying that just because. AFO genuinely does care about his family in his own messed up way, and when he gave First the stockpiling quirk, it was for his general well-being. If you take out the context, I’d so as far as to say it’s helpful.
As possessive and creepy AFO is, he isn’t an idiot. If he passed on his name to the next generation, his family would likely be accused in his perpetration or subjected to something that isn’t of his standards. Midoriya means ‘green valley’, so it’s probably Inko’s last name, NOT Hisashi’s. I think youre also forgetting that the word ‘my’ is emphasized when AFO talks about his last name, which implies he doesn’t necessarily associate with this last name anymore.
As a final say, the thing about him taking Inko’s name is further supported by a couple of a MHA 1A student (I can’t remember which one). They took the woman’s family name, which as the bio of the two so explicitly stated, isn’t uncommon these days.
So basically: his name being mentioned as Hisashi Midoriya doesn’t disprove the theory. My mother’s last name was A before she got married, too. And I’m pretty sure that if she was a wanted criminal, she’d rather be associated with the last name of my dad in mother form and her own when speaking to those of like-mindedness. Just think about it.
What if deku's dad died when he traveled for his job. And his mom didn't want to tell him.

I can see Hisashi being related to Endeavor.
Some reasons why AFO would make sense as his father.
1. AFO may have been hoping to pass on an evolved or duplicated version of his quirk that he would then have had taken from his son and experimented with.
2. Because Izuku once had a variation of AFO, his genetics could allow him to fully utilize such a multi-quirk quirk - OFA being half of AFO's true form. This would explain why he is special in being able to use the quirks of previous holders.
3. AFO may not truly care about his children, or perhaps he doesn't want to show his hand and hopes to be able to get close to Izuku to take OFA. If he revealed he was his father, I doubt anyone would let him anywhere near Izuku even after he changes/heals his face.
4. Shigaraki might just be a disposable tool AFO has created in case he ever was incarcerated, Mega Man 7 style. He may also not care about having a successor; he just wants to have somebody on the outside with his quirk because somehow this will allow him to escape prison or maybe he intends to steal Shigaraki's younger, undamaged body.
I kind of hope it is somebody else, because the family trees could get very tangled if Izuku is related to both Nana and AFO. It'd kinda get to be Naruto levels where Naruto is related to Hashrama AND Hashirama's wife on his father's and mother's side respectively and all their relatives and is also related to Sasuke's great, great, great, great, grandpa and it gets a little silly how many characters he is related to and is the most special person. I know the author is a fan of Naruto (and Mega Man) though, so maybe he's going to go for that.

perhaps the killing obi wan parallel with all might losing his power to all for one and not accually killing him but rendering him uselss. Because in star wars after obi wan is dead he is still helping luke in the ghost form.
But if Deku's dad is a scientist that researches quirks, wouldn't he be the first one to want to know how he got his quirk out of nowhere? Like immediately? Why hasn't he come back to see what happened to Deku? Or even called him? (I mean maybe Deku didn't even told him, but Inko should've, right? I guess he would've been excited to hear his son actually developed a quirk, but then again, Deku never mentions anything about talking with his dad about it)
Maybe his parents are actually divorced and that's why Deku doesn't seem to really care about him.

Hisashi may become a way to show the seriousness of Izuku's current situation.
In the way that him coming back to japan will show that the situation is worse than ever before for Izuku. As he hasn't come back before but will after the current arc, or at least that's what I hope. Cause if he doesn't come back after what's going on in the current arc it will just seem like he doesn't care at all.

It’d be cool if All for One is Deku’s father. Maybe he took away Deku’s Quirk when he was born so he wouldn’t one day try to be a hero and fight him. so that’s why deku always FELT like he was a hero but had no quirk. Because he deprived his son. He left them to protect them. That’s just what I think. All for One’s enemy Almight is a father figure to his son. That’s some whack stuff that’d be pretty interesting. It would also explain Tomura’s hatred for Midoriya. He’s jealous of his masters actual son. But he hasn’t killed deku though he’s had the chance because he doesn’t want to anger his master. Also, wasnt one for all defeated around the time Deku was a kid? He actually lived so it would explain how he could still visit the family from time to time while not being suspected because he was considered “dead” to the world. It would all make sense if he was truly in love with Deku’s mom.

You have a pretty good point in this video, but I have an idea for the "Why would AFO take Shigaraki as his mentor instead of Deku, if Deku is his son. What if AFO was going around having kids and quickly stealed their quirks when they were born, either to use for himself or for Dr. Garaki's experiments? It would probably be hard to cover it up, but I guess the theory makes sense? (I didn't make this theory, I remember seeing it somewhere)
I highly doubt that AFO is Deku's father because wouldn't he want a strong successor? Therefore he would marry someone with a strong quirk.

Deku’s father’s ability is Fire,Inko's Quirk gives her the ability to pull small objects toward her body from afar. This was mentioned when Deku was told he had no Quirk.
Finally someone says something about Deku’s dad and why it’s not all for one. I also agree that shigaraki and Deku are related but they probably aren’t cousins. Your theory is good don’t get me wrong however Nana lost her husband and had to give her son away to make sure he didn’t get the same fate. However one thing I don’t agree with is Nana being pregnant at the time. It’s more likely that she had a family member in America maybe a sibling who had Inko. Inko knew Nana though, like your theory said, she grew up to admire her. My theory could be completely thrown out the window if Nana didn’t have siblings but I don’t recall anything saying that she didn’t.

I really like your theory. It makes a lot of sense and it would be cool if Deku's dad is a scientist in USA. I still doubt because the few times we see All for one before his clash against All might, his face is always hiding !! If he's the only character where his identity is really dry, there's a reason. But, even though he has a regeneration quirk, I don't see Izuku's mother with a man over 150 years old.

Matter of fact I just thought about it, if he’s a scientist then what if he left abroad to study more about quirks in order to find a way to give his quirk less son a quirk...idk maybe he saw how bad quirkless deku wanted to be a hero and in order to help his son he dove into his research to the point of leaving his family behind...kind of like a hawks parallel with the end more than justifies the means.

My theory/wish is that Deku's dad is a head scientist for a Shield/Avengers team in USA but kept it hidden for his family safety. He's been keeping track of Deku ever since he learned of his powers but still can't really be around his family but after the whole debacle with Shigaraki and the fall of Japan's Hero Society he will come back revealing his true status and brings Deku with him to the states for better training

I don’t recall his dad appearing in the story at all, not even a call hone to see how his family is doing. He strikes me as the type who’s so obsessed with his work that he forgets or doesn’t care about them, he sends them money and that’s it. I’m not saying he doesn’t love them but it’s more cold and calculated which brings me to my point. The theory that Garaki was using his position to steal quirks is still on the table, so what if Deku’s dad knows about the quirk singularity and actually requested his son be made quirkkess in order to save him?

So this was an idea I had. What if Deku and Shigiraki had the same father (Kotaro Shimura)? See after doing a few quick google searches Shigiraki at this point in time is twenty years old while Midoriya is sixteen. It was stated that Tomura killed his mom, dad, sister, dog, and maternal grandparents on the night he awakened decay. It was even stated that Tomura as a kid bared a resemblance to Izuku Midoriya.
Mind you most of this is circumstantial just thought it'd be nice for ppl to consider it.
