This is use, sir! This alone is use. The shiva that you seek and the Jesus that the singer seeks, not even in ideology, just in Sankarabharanam raga's precision sung by TM Krishna, is one and the same. And if you think music is not for unity, sorry sir, all your devotion has gone wrong somewhere if it has been poisoned by communal hatred!

I'm sure the "lord" won't mind. Only mere mortals like you and I are that petty.

      My dear Nadajyothi,
Do you know whose pic you are having as profile picture?
That's Muthuswami Dikshitar who lived between 1775-1835 in Tiruvarur, Tamilnadu. Just 40 km from where I am now.
Coming to the point, Muthuswami Dikshitar composed 30+ tunes based on Band tunes of soldiers of English East India Company based in Thanjavur. All these tunes composed in Sankarabharanam. Major scale as per Western notation. One composition was straight out of British National Anthem. So please shut up and dont disgrace the composer whose name you are misusing.

The raga Sankarabharana was supposed to have been created by Ravana in order to please Lord Siva
However Ravana ended up at the wrong side of Lord Rama's arrow
So whether you sing in praise of Siva or Vishnu or Jesus, it matters the least
All of us will get screwed when the time comes, and no bloody God can save us
      Pls enjoy the music
