    Hi Cameron It's a new season and I am glad to meet up with you again. Two splendid salmon for the start of the season, and what an interesting fly from my namesake Brian. Let us hope the season will be better than last year, as salmon were not in abundance as preaviuse years. I look forward to seeing more good videos through out the season

      Hi Brian, great to hear from you again, I couldn't agree more about Brian's fly pattern and it obviously goes without saying that it is very effective with Atlantic salmon, here in Scotland. I too look forward to making more fishy videos and with a bit of luck, it may even happen!

    Good to see salmon anglers twigging what lure anglers did a while back with the bigger single hooks,better hook up to landing ratio and easier unhooking.

    That's some lenght of a weir. Great fishing you had I see the Zenith done the business. Probably my favourite rod. Prefer it over my 2 zephrus"

    • @CameronChapman
      @CameronChapman  3 месяца назад +1

      It certainly is Christian but it is also the south bank of the Caledonian canal….
      The presence of the weir enabled the height of Loch Ness to be raised by eight feet, over its entire 26mile length. Its construction was overseen by Thomas Telford and it was completed in 1822.
      I think every lucky angler has their own favourite Hardy rod and mine is actually the Hardy favourite that I bought second hand, nearly 30 years ago!

    • @christianb344
      @christianb344 3 месяца назад

      And yes I do love Hardy I done a day's casting a few weeks back with Simon Gawesworth. Fantastic day and a gentleman and great craic. Half tempted to pick up a sage after seeing Simon using but at the end of the day he's a master caster he made my zenith sing when using it.

    Great video 2 cracking fish.The footage of the release is quality,What are your go pro setting for that.?All the best Steve.

    • @CameronChapman
      @CameronChapman  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Steve, if I told you what the release was shot on, you simply wouldn't believe me! Suffice to say that I shoot the releases on 'slow motion', which runs at 60fps instead of the 30 fps with normal video recording. Therefore the higher frame rate produces a clearer and far brighter image. I hope that all makes sense.
