@@ChefKevinRiese As I am sure you are aware since Covid hit it has been harder to get certain items, but it's not only that I live in a small town so we don't have a lot of stores to choose from and since one of the main stores went out of business in a few towns over, we get all kinds of people shopping at our very limited stores. Thank you for replying, I remember growing up on a farm and when my grandma passed away, my parents bought canned vegetables and soup, I asked my mom if the food was fake, because I was used to everything fresh and homemade.
Makes me want a big side of those right now.

Can you do this with fresh pearl onions and canned peas?
Sure. But I would use fresh peas or frozen peas instead of canned. I have bad memories with canned vegatables.
