    I love beadmaker. It's definitely in my arsenal among others. I have the topper sprays from most of the major players (Gyeon Ceramic Detailer, KCx S0.02, CarPro Reload, NV Boost) and I like Beadmaker a lot. Beadmaker is the slickest surface I have ever seen.

    I tried some on my ceramic coated M2.
    It adhered to the ceramic coating, gave a better gloss than the coating alone, and the beading when it rained was on a par with some quality waxes I have used.
    I doubt it will last long, but I wash my car every week anyway.
    The only thing I'm worried about, is that it will make my drying towels stop absorbing water.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  5 месяцев назад

      That is the only downside to using this as a drying aid as the chemistry can clog the fibers to prevent it from absorbing water 🤔

    IMO, when it first came out and had nearly zero real competition for hydrophics in an easy spray form, it was well liked. I have a gallon of it in my garage that's about 1/4 used. I probably will not use the rest of it. Luckily, or unluckily there are so many options out there now a days and they are all trying to out do the other. Personally, I'd rather spend the same time applying something like DIY Detail's Ceramic Gloss and get much better longevity.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  11 месяцев назад +2

      That is a respectable opinion 😌👍 I can agree that during its time it was the go to. Now that there are so many options it struggles to stay in the arena if we look at it at face value with constructive feedback.
      Realistically there will never be a "perfect" product, but as long as you enjoy what you use and that it works in your routine, I say all is good at the end of the day 😎

    Have you encountered dusting issues? If yes, how did you avoid that? I want to use this for my clients, I love beadmaker so much but dusts doesn’t really affect me. However, I am afraid that some clients might not like in case they have some dusting issues.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  3 месяца назад +1

      All waxes have the potential to dust and if I can be completely transparent with you I think this is just an accusation made by the community to belittle BM if I am completely honest. Ive seen the "BM dusts too much" claims and really it is a poorly thought out statement because
      well...
      If you reeeeeeeally care about the dust, then maybe put the car in those inflatable dust proof car storage? 🤔 Realistically speaking, there is no way for you to control the dust and is completely dependent on how the customer parks or stores their car.
      From my testing there is no real way to see if it dusts or not because even if you applied a "low static" wax to the car it will catch dust at some point within a day because it is Outside 😂 I mean, duh?
      So to answer your question directly, it is a solid product for the price and it is an excellent standard wax for your customers 👍

      It leaves leather surfaces smooth to the touch 😌 of course, if you don't like how it feels, or it is too soft for your preference, you can always wipe it down gently with a cleaner, and it will release some of the product off 😉

    I do like it as a drying aid. I rarely use it now because I'm trying to go through my other products. The longevity is horrible. The name Bead Maker is misleading as I've never been impressed with its performance. It does smell good and it does add slickness and pop to the paint.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  11 месяцев назад

      If you see the beading is not there, perhaps it is time to decon the surface as the particles create friction and prevent the water from gliding off, or in this case, beading 🤔
      And trust, wish it could have lasted a lot longer, but honestly, I dont use it as a standalone, but as a topper or drying aid for my existing ceramic coating that I installed. 😎👍

    • @CardosCarDose

      This can be used as a standalone, no need to apply additional wax as a base layer. 👍
      Paste wax is mostly for consumers who want to have a therapeutic session. Liquid spray waxes perform almost identically as paste waxes, but do not require so many steps like a paste wax would.

    Hey man I’m going to be using Greenstar in a foam cannon for an APC pre wash. I have an MJJC S3 (I think it’s 38oz) I was wondering if you think 1oz green star to 15oz water is the right ratio since I’m pretty sure I don’t need the whole cannon full for just a sedan right? Thanks man love your videos.

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  11 месяцев назад +2

      Just note, an APC Pre Wash is NOT recommended for vehicles that are maintained and should only be used under the right circumstances. ☝️ 📝
      For green star at 1:4, just get your OZ that you want to serve and divide by 5. That total will be your number of oz for green star and fill the rest with water 😎

    • @TaylorMadeMoment
      @TaylorMadeMoment 11 месяцев назад

      @@CardosCarDose definitely plan on only doing it for this 1st wash, I’ve lived in a condo the last 3 years so my car is gross. 😂 how much product do you usually need to coat a sedan you think?

    • @CardosCarDose
      @CardosCarDose  11 месяцев назад +1

      @@TaylorMadeMoment it can be 16oz, 32oz, or 48 😬Depends on how much product do you want on the surface and how long do you want it to dwell. Sometimes 16 oz is enough for a quick foam. Maybe 32oz if I want thick clumps to cling for longer dwell time. Or perhaps 48oz like my Ceramic Coating video where the grime was just out of control and had to foam it twice. 🤮
      So really, all i can say is observe what is wrong with the vehicle and make your best judgment 😎👍
