7:37 That's a Smart Card reader, and what you're trying to pry out is the placeholder plastic that's where the reader should have been because you didn't configure your ThinkPad with it since you don't use it anyways.

Great video! Couldn't read the text on the manual though. I think you should reverse it when you edit. That pen in the laptop is really cool!
I've been looking for a more hands on review for this exact laptop.

I don’t have any editing software to edit the videos here’s a manual which is more detailed than what I received in the box download.lenovo.com/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/x13_2in1_g5_linux_ug.pdf

When he said unboxing, he meant it literally.

No display port? Only 1 USB-C port and 2 USB only? And USB-C powered. I'll take a hard pass.
You seem like a great guy, though.

      There’s a HDMI port and 2 USB A

As an IT manager for a company with 400+ laptops (incl Win, Linux and MacOS) - I haven't seen any laptops bought in the last 2 yrs that have a "display port." You only find them in desktops and monitors. HDMI is the standard port used to connect to external displays and sometimes USB-C (thunderbolt) works fine too. So "No display port?" is a stupid question for a laptop.

@@user_1abc It's only a stupid question to you.
My MSI GP63 Leopard 8RD has one HDMI and one mini Display port, which I bought in 2018.
Laptops do come with them, just not the stuff your company is buying.
I use it as my troubleshooter laptop and the DP comes in handy when checking a client monitor or client cables for issues.
It is true, however, most laptops don't come with DP or Mini DP, but that doesn't stop me from needing it on the job.

A "MINI" display port isn't the same as a Display Port. My company (or for that matter any decent sized corporation) buys professional laptops only from top brands like Asus, Apple, Dell, HP, Lenovo.
MSI is a budget brand mostly used by students who can't afford University tuition.
If a 10yo Gateway laptop came with a VGA port - doesn't mean "Laptops do come with VGA ports."
_" It is true, however, most laptops don't come with DP or Mini DP"_
That's the point I made. Thanks for repeating it.

A mini DisplayPort is simply a smaller form factor of a standard DisplayPort, serving the exact same function. I’ve seen laptops with a full-sized DisplayPort.
There are plenty of subpar laptop models from Asus, Dell, HP, and Lenovo (though less so with Lenovo). Do your company’s models come with DisplayPorts? I didn’t think so.
Currently, there are a few laptops sold with DisplayPorts. I just searched it. Mine is not a “one-off.”
My point was that I have a legitimate need and want for a DisplayPort. Your point was that you only find them in desktops and monitors.
But you are wrong; they do come in laptops. I did not make your point. Just stand corrected and learn.
This is my last reply. You seem fixated on arguing that your opinion is reality and that legitimate uses are invalid for some unknown aggressive reason.
Edit: MSI isn't a budget brand. In fact, a simple search term of "MSI laptop" into MIcroCenter search reveals that all of them are high end and cost thousands. One model costs $4,699.99. Unfortunately, you are wrong again.
