    OMG! I feel so old. I remember that. I remember shopping with my mom and wishing I was at the concert. WMMS rocked back then. Thank you my brother for getting me to listen to that station when I was little. Simply awesome. Cleveland Rocks!

    Wow! Who could forget those concerts! Each one was a Woodstock in it's own. I remember my first one seeing Crosby Stills Nash & Young and seeing greats such as Yes,Peter Frampton, Aerosmith, and seeing The Rolling stones on Their Black & Blue tour on a stormy day. 70's Man! Remember The weekend salute? Get Down!

    Here's a thought a positive one. I was 17 all of 73 (December 14th, 1955) Over half of all those people are dead now. 50% of them from drugs. If you want to say those were the good old days than "let er rip"...Amen

    Jerry Sanders, Rolling Stones didn't tour for the Black and Blue album that came out in 1976. The 75 tour was named -Tour of the America's.

    My brother was at nickel beer night where the riot broke out. He has a photo from that which was taken by a reporter. Was up on a wall at Alice Cooper's old restaurant in Cleveland but now in his possession. He was in the photo which was a shot on the indians dugout.

    there was a guy who fell off the backstop behind home plate. His comment was in the PD saying he wanted to know how a foul ball felt. Must have been some potent microdot

    Sounds like fun, lol. I've heard from people that AC/DC was the best & LOUD. At least they have some footage on YT. You said Aerosmith played how long? All I know is people said they sucked and those who liked it were heavier partiers. The day before at WMMS an employee said Steven got ON a table and snorted a longgg line of coke & the band messed up the station's vinyl records & they had to reorganize them all for days & it took a couple of weeks to find some. I have a link w/ memories.

    Why did you delete your posts? The audience was nuts, riots, stabbing, overdoses, etc. I can send you a link from the Buzzard site where fans talk about it.
    Aerosmith played their set--they were the f'ed up headliners '79. Some people left during their set b/c they were playing bad. I don't know what you were saying before about them not playing for 7 yrs...they toured every yr except 1981.
    Aerosmith '75 WSOR good reviews.
    '79 Ppl said AC/DC was best & Nugent was very loud.

    @Grendelmonster8u 11 лет назад

    No they didn't. This was the 1975 one in this video. They broke up at the July 28, 1979 WSOR show. You see the About section? It says 1975.

    about aerosmith i didnt see them i left during ted nugent it was to much a wall of sound so maybe they were on after him i dont know . it was insane there, we almost got crushed near the stage and the noise was like a jet engine in your ear -we had to escape that one we were there maybe 2-3 hours

    In 1979 the night before while waiting for the world series of rock to begin there was a race riot that not many know about but I was in fact there at and I wonder if there's any footage or others that were part of the event it was crazy and I had never been more scared JPoe
