omg im so happy that youtube recommend your video, omgggggggg
Aww yay! Thanks for watching 😌🧡 I hope you have an amazing weekend!
THE DIVINERS. Omg my favorite. 😍 Definitely recommend the audio but you’re going to LOVE IT.
I’ve heard others say good things about the audio too! I will definitely be listening to it 🙈 And I’m waiting for October 🙌🏻
Yes! The audio is sooo good!
This is the first video of yours that I’ve ever seen and I’m obsessed with your personality 🙈🍂✨ so adorable!
Ok but seriously you are Anne Shirley coming to life ❤✨
Dracul was my favorite book of the year in 2019! Hope you enjoy!
I’ve watched so many of your videos this fall and I love them all! Wonderful and wholesome.
Yes, you need to read Sherlock! Honestly, I love the short stories more than the longer ones so I vote for you to read The Adventures of Sherlock over The Hound of Baskervilles.
Ps. Your going to love Hallowe’en Party by Agatha Christie! It’s such a great/fun mystery. I have a vintage version from the early 60s with orange sprayed edges.
A random question, what is your fav/ memorable fall story
Hope you guys are doing well , have a great day 😁😁
I love your book recommendations! Especially how you read for the season/holiday. Loving this!!!❤️
I’m definitely a seasonal reader! 🙈 To me, it makes it more fun! So thank you ☺️🙏🏻 So happy you enjoyed the video!
I LOVE the Sherlock Holmes stories, so I hope you'll love them too! I also cannot wait to read Northanger Abbey with the book club!
I am so hyped for Sherlock Holmes! I’ve loved every movie and tv show about Sherlock so I can’t wait to dive in to the source material! ☺️
I'm so happy I discovered your channel!
really love your style and thanks to you I now have a lot more books to read this autumn :)
Longbourn is really clever, a great book it almost makes you forget all about pride and prejudice because you’re so involved with the servant characters.
I’m reading Frankenstein and The Woman in White for the first time in October 😀
Your videos give me cosy fall vibes
Then my goal is achieved 😌🍂
If you've never read Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier I think you'd love it.
Finally a recommendation list that has books I haven't heard before!! Thank you so much!!!!
I loove SO SO much the whole atmosphere of this video😭 And these books are so freaking fall-ish😍😍Xxxx
I love your style and aesthetic. It’s so beautiful! And your videos are my favourite!💜💛
Thank you so much!! 🧡🥺🙏🏻
love how cozy all of your videos feel!
Perfect start to the weekend!!!🍁🍁💕💕
Aww yay! Hope you’re having an amazing weekend!! 🍂🍁🎃
The Diviners is absolutely an amazing read. Its actually really scary! The characters and setting are awesome too. I recently started reading Sherlock Holmes, and I adore them!! He was ahead of his time for sure.
I cannot wait for your fall videos this year omg
Please don't ever stop making these videos YOU ARE ADORABLE!!!
New here but definitely vibing with you! Your taste in books are impeccable. Will be adding some of these to my TBR list. Thanks!
Thank you so much! And hi! ☺️ Thanks so much for watching 💛 hope you have an amazing reading season! ☺️
I just started "The Silent Companions" and OH MY GOSH IT'S CREEEPYYYY, but I'm really loving it! Can't wait for your wrap up on it!
I reccomend the night circus! JUST PERFECT FOR OCTOBER, AND ITS VICTORIAN!!
Loved this cozy fall video! Wuthering Heights is SO GOOD. I read it when I was 15-ish and, even though Jane Austen is my favorite classic author, Wuthering Heights is the book that hooked me on classics! I’m reading The Woman in White for Victober and super excited about it, too! I think it’s technically the first “sensation novel.” Apparently it was published first as a serialized story, so everyone was talking about it/eager for the next installment in the same way modern people get excited about TV shows and try to figure out the next plot twist.
Discovered you and addictively watched videos today. Since my start you have fall off your chair in one and now drops cookies attempting to serve them to us all. To much to love!
This is fab and just the deep dive of Autumnal reading I need to get me through the hells of summer! Thank you! So many books added to my list!
your videos are literally all of my aesthetics combined. 💛
Haha, I have so many aesthetics too 🙈
I love this!!!! I am going to be reading the Diviners this october too and I'm so excited (I'm buddy reading it :D )
Your videos are the perfect start to my saturday :) I love everything about you and your videos ❤️
Thank you so much! That means a lot 🥺 I hope you’re having a wonderful Saturday! 💛
I was so intrigued by the description of The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place and looked it up only to realise it’s set right near me! Even more excited to read it now! So many amazing recommendations! Thank you so much! My autumn list has been wonderfully refreshed and I’m so excited 🖤
I've only recently come across your channel but I am LOVING every second of it! Thanks so much for autumn recommendations and omg Im totally sitting down and reading Frankenstein this Halloween 🎃
It was so much fun to watch this video and feel autumn/halloween vibes! 🧡🍁🎃 I love the atmosphere of fall and I love the fall aesthetic of your video ❤️🤗
Omg totally adding these to my tbr!!! Thank you so much 😭❤️
Love the aesthetic and your vest! Looking forward to your thoughts on all of these. I'd like to read Deadly Education too.
Thank you! I’ll definitely be sharing my thoughts on some reading vlogs coming soon ☺️
I love your vest you're wearing!! And your book recommendations :)
i'm also hoping to read wakenhyrst asap! have it out from the library and i can't wait to start it. i love your videos and your books recs are always amazing, thankyou so much 🥺🖤
You yourself are like come right out of an aesthetic y/a novel ❤️🥰
Omg you’re the sweetest 🙈 I feel like I looked like Dorothy (from wizard of oz) had a baby with a scarecrow 😂
I read the bookshop on the shore from your last years fall read list and I loved it. New subscriber :)
Longbourn has been on my TBR for years! 🙈 gathering dust on my shelf. You’ve inspired me to pick it up :)
Just found your channel!! I absolutely loveeeee your vibe and you’re making me want to read tonsssss of Jane Austen!
The same thing happened to me with The Diviner’s I was in love with the cover when I saw it years ago. I just found/ bought it four months ago from BetterWorldBooks for $4.00 I also had to revive it. Yay for book reviving!
The Diviners is perfect for you! It's creepy but the setting is everything!!
I just picked up Magic Lessons for free today at my library. They were giving away arcs of different books. I've always enjoyed the Practical Magic movie so I figured why not? on the prequel.
Just bought Dracul today!!! Omg so many great pics!! I love how you add background about the books like Dracul, I was thrown a minute when I saw the author. And Northanger Abby...
You give me all the autumn vibes🍂🥰
That copy of Frankenstein is super pretty!! I have so many copies of that book because it’s my favorite BUT I need that one too lol
so many stunning books! happy reading ✨🧡
You are the happiest wee thing in the world and I am always so joyful after watching your videos (not to mention, completely broke) 😜 I was also wondering if you could do a tutorial on some the hairstyles you do (esp. The one in the video where you rank every Jane Austen book because it's amazing and I would love to try!)?
Omg thank you 🥺 This is the sweetest comment ever 🧡 I was definitely thinking about doing a “autumn hairstyles” type video. However, the hair style from that video is so complicated and I just followed a RUclips video 😂 I’ll go try to find the link for it!
Here is the link to the tutorial for the hairstyle I wore in the Jane Austen video! ☺️ ruclips.net/video/1NAwgv09ctY/видео.html
Omg thank you!! That is so sweet of you!!
I love how many books you recommend/show that I've never even heard of before! Lots of titles added to my TBR list! Thank you! And if you liked Dracula, I really enjoyed Dracula in Love by Karen Essex. It's the story written from Mina's perspective.
Gothic books are LIFE! 🖤
this video was so freaking adorable!
New subscriber here. I'm loving all your autumn videos! There are so few booktubers that can make me add so many books to my TBR! I love Sherlock and recommend reading a couple of short stories first. I also love Northanger Abbey, but I had to read a few gothic books first so I could catch all the funny references. And The Diviners made me pick up more historical (mystery) books. Will you make a few cozy reading vlogs too? Happy Autumn Reading!🍁
Love this video! Autumn is here and I am THRIVING! I have a pretty stellar October TBR set up: Rebecca, Practical Magic, Dracula, And Then There Were None, an Edgar Allan Poe graphic novel story collection. 🙌🏻
An IMMACULATE tbr 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I just added so much to my list! And I got Pumpkinheads through my library as I watched this, no wait list! I'm reading Death Below Stairs by Jennifer Ashley at the moment, and listening to Dracula, and am planning to read Frankenstein (or rather listen to it!), The Widow of Rose House by Diana Biller, The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware, The Winter People by Jennifer MacMahon, The Saturday Night Ghost Club by Craig Davidson, Wilder Girls by Rory Power, and some John Wyndham if I have time!
Caitlin Doughty is my idol. She’s amazing to watch and learn from!
I actually read Dark Harvest last autumn! Loved it! Such a fun scary book!
The love The Diviners series! I’m going to start the last one soon!
Ummm ok, but can we talk about how cute your outfit is? I love it. Can't wait to check out your recommendations. 😊
After watching a couple of your fall book hauls.... I’m now waiting on 5 books to arrive. Wanted to get so many more!
💜 🎃 📚
Namaste Desi- an amazing book haul and awesome aesthetics💝💝💝Loved all the books you shared here today , will try to include a few in my TBR along with NorthangerAbbey and its retelling by McDermaid. Happy Reading dear👻👻👻💖
Aww yay! I can’t wait to read Northanger Abbey with you and the rest of the book club. It’s going to be such a good time ☺️
*adds to basket* seriously these videos make me so broke 😂 but I love it!!
I loved the woman in white! I love gothic novels ❤️
love this!! Could you also do book recs based on Gilmore Girls? not books mentioned in the show, more like books that capture that similar cozy fall feeling the show has x
The Idiot by Elif Batuman definitely gave me Gilmore Girls vibes, it's about an 18 year old Harvard linguistics student and it's set in the mid-90s 🍁 The plot isn't that exciting, but the vibes and dry humor and bookish references are all there.
There's also an email element to the book which is cool if you like You've Got Mail.
@@aisling8308 thank you!! I'll look it up :-)
I’m so glad I’m found your channel!🧡
The woman in white is one of my all time favourites! It’s so good.
These videos are aesthetically pleasing
I just looked at your video list and I immediately knew that I had to subscribe :D
Lady Hardcastle is a FAVE of mine. And they're awesome on audio!
I really enjoy the fact that you share middle school reads. I recently read Small Spaces by Katherine Arden who wrote the Bear and the Nightingale. It's spooky and involves a local ghost story and an army of scarecrows that moves once the sun goes down. It's great.
Your vest is perfect!
New sub, can’t believe I haven’t come across you before! You are a breath of fresh air 😊
Please please please do a reading vlog( or vlogs) when you read these ❤️❤️❤️ I absolutely adore your reading vlogs especially the themed ones ✨🎃
Autumn is my favorite season, but it usually passes me by amidst the back-to-school craziness of a teacher's life. I'm determined that this time I will enjoy it. I've already taken to Scribd to find some of these titles. Thanks!
I think I have the same Frankenstine as you do. Cant wait to read it
Newer viewer of your channel, and I love your videos!
Just finished Scandalous Sisterhood, such a lovely book!!! ❤😂I need it to be series 😅❤
Love your videos and your book taste!
I LOVE the Woman in White!!!
YAY!!! I am so excited 🙈
Ahh I just read Wuthering Heights for the first time and my first Agatha Christie. I read And Then There Were None. I really want to read Frankenstein soon because I have a hold out at the library for The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein. I also want to read City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde this fall too 😍 So many stories so little time 😂
Oh! And I’m wrapping up The City Bakers Guide to Country Living right now based on your recommendation! Super cute!
So many good pics!!!
how do you just look so pretty in every video?? XD
🥺🥺🥺 you’re so nice 🥺🙏🏻
Hi I just found your youtube Channel. Thanks for your bookish recommodations and your video is so cozy and warm, very atmospheric too, as the books, thank you 🍁
Hello! Maud is pronounced Mod. There’s a character called Maud in The Worst Witch books by Jill Murphy which are a must read!
we need to see another "decorate my TBR cart for fall-o-ween"! 🍂🍁🎃🖤
I ADORE Laura Purcell! Silent Companions is my fave of hers
Prickwillow Place was fun! I would be excited if she wrote another one. The interactions between the girls is lots of fun. It’s what I would call older middle grade. Maybe for 10 and up. Sherlock Holmes is excellent! The Hound of the Baskervilles is my favorite of the novels, but I love the others and the short story collections are perfection. Wuthering Heights is one of my favorite books ever. It’s not a romance, though, in the sense of modern romance novels. And you can’t go wrong with Agatha Christie. I just reread Halloween Party (for the fiftieth time😂)recently! The Woman in White is the best of the gothic novels, and has what is probably my favorite villain ever. I’d call it a suspense thriller. I’ve read all of the Lady Hardcastle series and I REALLY enjoy them. I highly recommend them on audio; the narrator is excellent.
I could imagine that you'd like Anne Perry mysteries, too, as they play in victorian London. Yet, they are crime mysteries and not spooky with ghosts. - I loved reading Wuthering Heights, I could hardly place it somewhere, I took it everywhere with me to read, even when I had to wait in a queue at the cash desk in shops. - I like reading "Walden" by Henry David Thoreau in Autumn. Probably because forrest and Autumn just go together for me.
Mary Shelley told me it’s okay to call the monster Frankenstein.
🥺
These all sound awesome! I'm VERY excited for Deadly Education too- Sept 29th! One I love for October is The Halloween Tree by Ray Bradbury (also a cool made for TV cartoon movie from a while ago w Ray actually narrating!)
Read Longbourn, yrs ago, and I didn’t like it... I LOVED IT!!! 😆 💕 It’s one of the few books I’d like to revisit. Great writing, great character development, great surprise revelation. Wonderful novel!!
Just found your channel omg I love it!
You remind me of a character of Dr Seuss’ books, so cute!
