It's so interesting to see visitors come to New England and enjoy things we locals take for granted. It's a lovely reminder of how blessed we are. I live in New England and Scotland (UK) and love them both.
This would be my absolute dream combination of living places !!

same! grew up in New Hampshire and I definitely took the beautiful architecture and fall activities for granted. since moving to Colorado, I miss new england and the quant vibes so so much!!

Author's Ridge is a great place to visit -- Louisa May Alcott, Hawthorne, Emerson, and Thoreau. Lovely tributes to them, especially pens left for LMA, are a treat to see.

My grandparents live in Concord! I used to go to their house after school every day and it’s so beautiful there ❤ lovely memories there, I don’t have a car right now so I haven’t been back since before COVID so this video made me so happy! I have very fond memories of going to the library. I have to go back! I vividly remember being in middle school and picking out 100 books and my Grandpa told me to put back 90 of them so I spread them all out on the first floor and chose the 10 I wanted the most. Thank you for bringing those memories back for me! I currently live in Salem so it’s cool that you went from where my childhood was to where I am now!

It is always fun to see people visiting our home area and what they think of it. I live one town away from Concord and spend a lot of time there. One mistake so many visitors make, though. That cemetery is not Sleepy Hollow. That is Old Hill Burial Ground. Sleepy Hollow is just outside the main town area, a very large and shady cemetery, and there is an area called Author's Ridge, which has the graves of the Alcotts, Emerson, Hawthorne and Thoreau. You cannot see the town center from inside it. Next visit, seek it out! Happy you had a nice time and also enjoyed Salem!
Yes! I visited again a year later and finally went to the real sleepy hollow. It’s a lovely area!
I LOVE Salem. Did you go to Diehl Marcus? It's my favorite antique store, and their teas and candles are to die for!

Hope you weren't too disappointed about missing Sleepy Hollow - that's in "upstate" New York near Tarrytown - about 30 min north of NYC.
Salem is fun for tourists, and you featured some great aspects of Concord. Hopefully you checked out the historic sites in Lexington.
That is a beautiful library. However, New York City central library has to be the most beautiful library in the USA. It looks like it stepped out of England

Hi, I just came across your vlog, and SOOOOOO Enjoyed it,,, i am from R.I. Have been to Salem a few times, many years ago. Presently live in Montana and yes It is very beautiful, but It’s not New England. Every fall I get so home sick for Apple cider, pumpkins, yes the pumpkins looked super orange! 🎃 and TREES. Gosh I never thought a person could miss trees so much, LOL. All of the places you showed in the vlog where great, yes so MUCH history in that area, the 300+ year old homes. Autumn Fall is my favourite time of year to. Have wanted to live in New England, for such a long time ☺️. I live an hour away from Howarth, The Bronte Parsonage. Brought my first book , Wuthering Heights, from Emily Bronte's House. I visited American a few years back, and fell in love 💞. And New England, resonates dearest to me.
