A banda formada por Ugo Perrotta (baixo), Alexandre Papel Loureiro (bateria) e Fred Sunwalk (guitarra), foi a mesma que acompanhou o Eric nas ultimas turnês pelo Brasil.

Excuse me for the derailing of Gales' phenomenal performance... But that drummers snare sounds as if it was crafted and tuned by the gods of drumming!

first time seeing a normal Fender Strat played by a left handed guitar player ... the strings are not arranged for a left handed guitar player like Hendrix was, this Strat could be played by all normal right handed guitar player, it is amazing ...

Hold on, left handed and strung the wrong way round? Did his guitar teacher play a practical joke on him? "Sure, Eric, look this is how Hendrix did it..." [Whips photo away before Eric can get a good look at it].
Great performance, fab drummer as well.
Funny you should mention it. It was his bigger brother who taught Eric to play guitar, although the brother played the bass. But the thing was: they only had a left hand bass and a right hand guitar, so Eric did the only thing he felt logical and flipped the guitar without switching the strings (unlike Hendrix). That's at least the story I know about ;)
One way or another, he has an amazing sound, playstyle (Even saw him live in Copenhagen!) and overall a super nice and hilarious person :)

I do not think i have ever heard so fat sound from a strat type guitar, i wonder if it also has something to do with the reversed position of the strings ( low strings are on the bottom).

the strings aren't reversed, the guitar is a normal rightie in every way, eric just plays it upside down, so thats not the source of the tone

There's an album called "Left Hand Brand" just because of that, where Eric plays with his now deceased older brother Little Jimmy King on guitar and their third brother Eugene on bass, really good album.
There is no wrong way to play the guitar.

Fernando Rodrigues Cara é fiquei sabendo de uma parada interessante , ele não é canhoto natural , ele toca assim por que os outros dois irmão deles são canhotos , aí ele decidiu tocar assim , também por influência do Jimi Hendrix,; agora o aprendizado eu também fico me perguntando como foi , pq eu desistir de tocar dessa maneira , mas antes de ver este cara , se fosse agora eu não desistia rsrs

Pelo que eu li em algum lugar (não lembro onde infelizmente), foi o avô deles que começou com essa história de tocar canhoto mesmo sem ser canhoto, pra tentar replicar o som do Hendrix. Os mais novos da família foram ensinados a tocar com a esquerda, então não houve um processo de inverter a guitarra depois de um certo tempo, eles já aprenderam assim desde o começo.
