I bought the extension kit amd it is an absolute game changer. Extra stability and height so you're not touching the ground is brilliant. I just feel they made the long orange extension bars around 1 inch too long as it makes the main black poles have spaces and makes the arc backwards but it's still a massive improvement. I hope they make a higher portable pull up bar in the future. Good review as always. Thanks.
Make sure the top and bottom bars are fully inside the end-pieces of the extension bar. You need to slide off the four rubber caps and then SLIDE on the extension bars as on the assembly video provided by Gravity Fitness. If you don't slide them on then you will have the issue you are talking about as the top and bottom bars won't locate inside the end-pieces properly.
Make a video on the disassembly, it’ll be twice as long as this one for sheer difficulty of pulling the thing apart. Only really practical if you don’t intend on disassembling after each use, and at that point you’d be better off getting something more robust that won’t wobble anyway.
You mean you found it difficult to disassemble?😮 we found it quite doable and I wouldn’t take it apart after each use anyway, but only when I plan to take it somewhere else. With the extension it’s quite robust actually🤔
Yes! We do one at 2:55 and 6:23. It’s not ideal though and when you extend it it’s quite high for inside use concerning doing muscle ups😮 honestly most freestanding pull up bars have this problem. The best we’ve seen so far is the Gornation Pull Up Station, which we reviewed yesterday!💪
Does the use negate the dip option? Usually you remove the top section to do dips, I guess that is no longer an option and you have to use rings for dips.
@CalisthenicsWorldwide and I bought rings 😁. Thanks for the excellent review, enjoyed latest upload on gornation pull up frame. Might get that one now. Comparison video? Or thoughts?
That’s a great question! The low position could serve as a replacement, but static bars tend to offer greater stability. While the low option for this product works well for dips, static bars we’ve tested so far provide better overall stability. Do you have any other questions?
@@CalisthenicsWorldwideThank you very much. Do you think this Gravity Fitness pull up station is the best portable option for Europe? (i say Europe because options like Fit! Gym has like 300$ shipping cost to Spain... Thank you in advance

Can u do muscle ups on this ?

@db9544 I just remove extension bars then take apart and put together for dips. Might just buy rings to save me dismantling for push sessions
Exactly! Thanks for answering the question!🙏

Could you make a review for static bar from workoutfactory?
I'm curious to see how it fares compared to the other bars.
Thanks for mentioning this brand. We try to reach out and check if they want us to review their products!
Thank you for your video. I had a question, in the low position, would this replace a static bar? Thanks in advance

Can you do ring rows or ring push ups without being completely vertical to the ground?
Can you use the extension kit without extending the height?
No
I didn’t catch it in the video what’s the weight limit for it?
110kg and 200kg with the extension👏
Is this no good for muscle ups?
Not ideal! You can see me do one at 8:35🫡
opaa
Why is the room you’re in so dumpy? Why are you posting the same review you did years ago?
This is my home gym!👏 it’s not the same; we did an update since the extension was released💪 have a nice day!
