Oh the solo god himself blessing us with his knowledge. We’ll need another guide though now after they massacred our nightmare survival 😭. Oh and thanks for the shoutout Joey ✌️
For anyone interested, they already did some updates today, there's new armors and dyes plus new game+ armors and dyes available on Legends. They did indeed nerf spirit kunai to 10 seconds.
Just watching this guy's game play. He is a legend. I hate that Oni but he just humiliated him. Jumping over his spear three times. Dodging his attacks and Perry everything. Insane.
Joey is a beast. I learned so much from him. His videos changed the way I play my hunter. More agile, more closer in the fight, and easy handle every infight situation. But I also do much different. Some things work better for me. For example: the dash attack cancel feels a bit random. Cause after 3-4 times I get the normal Hit Animation. I mostly end in a roll-jump combo. XD still not tested if its faster but it feels like :P And for the aim assist - what should I say. Hate it and love it. I played CoD for a long time. Thats why the aim assist of GoT feels so uncomfortable to me. With aim assist you flick on the enemy and just need to correct your vertical aim a little bit. But that's the case. You allways flick to the upper chest. And when u aim up, the aim assist pull you back down to the chest. Sometimes this can get really annoying. Also when the assist claim the wrong enemy. I hope they will add a option to edit the aim assist and a scale for the camera sensitivity. I want a way faster one...
thanks so much dude. I'm glad my gameplay has influenced your playstyle! I'm hoping September 3rd Sucker Punch doesn't nerf us hunters too much. I'm a firm believer that when it comes to buffs/nerfs, buffs and reasonable nerfs are the way to go. Aim assist in this game is like a blessing and a curse. You'll aim at unintended targets that are sometimes like 30-50 meters away instead of your intended target that's about 5-10 meters in front of you, making aiming in this game feel clumsy. But it is the fastest way to lock onto heads and it's much easier to aim at targets with aim assist turned on. Since you mentioned Call of Duty, I played COD too mainly for zombies, and aim assist is literally the headshot daiquiri zombies perk in Ghost of Tsushima: Legends. We'll play some time friend, I'm hoping Sucker Punch will apply a better targeting system in the next update
May I have a nice Tip for you this time. If you didn't found out by yourself already.. With correct timing, you can roll out or even through the Red iyo orbs.
@@skarezz that's worked for me. I typically roll towards Iyo's Eye when it's approaching me so it doesn't keep me in long enough to get me stuck if that makes sense. Kinda knew of this trick already, but thanks for reassuring me on this
how can you get the perks you want its a lucky game to get 1 of them i only can change 1 and then the other perks are locked until i refurge it gain and i alwas run out of ressources
Yes I prefer blessed arrows now because it keeps my health at full health compared to combat regen. With combat regen you have to stop fighting in order to regain health, but you don't even get full health with combat regeneration.
This is fantastically put together , can't wait to try some reload cancels now for when I take buds through the raid now that I got them lured back in with the ps5 upgrade 😂
@@GooshyG bro how do you do it does it only work on PS5 ? i have a PS4 and i saw the video from Joey, i did it and it still didn’t work. Do you have a video ?
The Oni Lord Punishment section I couldn't understand what Joey was trying to say. He wasn't saying complete sentences and just kept interrupting himself. I wish he explained better how he dodges and what to look out for in minimizing taking damage from the enemy types.
I came back to this video after never managing to get away with the single side-step that Joey does to avoid the overhead slam. I would always still get hit by the shockwave. From watching it again I think what Joey doesn't mention is that you have to be moving when the Oni lord starts his attack, because he seems to (like hwacha) attack where you're going to be, rather than where you are. So if you're jogging to the side when he attacks and then quick step in the opposite direction it should create just enough space to avoid it. Still much safer to roll 'through his legs' when he does this attack though. With the other attacks I've found it's always safer to just side step the lunge since the parry detection is sketchy on that one. Always parry the little spear handle 'poke in the face', because that's easy to catch even though it's quick. Jump over the sweep, in the opposite direction of the enemy. And hope that he doesn't do the slam when you are close because the first part of that attack has zero telegraphing, comes out in a snap and will knock you on your ass. And as soon as you recover from it, roll away followed by a jump because sometimes he can catch you at the last frame of your roll.
I'll probably catch a lot of hate for this, but I think they should nerf the Hunter Class, not totally, but make it more balanced with the other classes. 10 kills with the Ultimate is kinda bullshit, it should be 5 kills tops, just like the other classes. It's honestly not fun at all doing survival missions and standing around doing nothing because a badass Hunter is clearing two, sometimes all three zones by themselves from a high vantage point. I don't play survival to run around constantly, getting few kills, and therefore crappy gear rewards, I'm after Legendaries as well, and on a well balanced team I typically get 150-200 kills, doesn't matter which class I use. I don't use Hunter tho, if I want to play a shooter, I'll play Destiny or Call of Duty. Not hatin on hunters, I just like to contribute and be a good teammate on a good team and pull my weight.
No hate coming from me, I see where you're coming from. I think I understand that you want more use of the katana rather than ranged weapons because most other popular games on consoles are first or third person shooters. Using a hunter closely resembles a third person shooting kind of style of play with less melee or assassination kills. Recent update to me is a bit upsetting. Yeah the samurai can use forbidden medicine now, but his ultimate still isn't good. It still doesn't hit multiple enemies despite the obvious visual katana slashes being large. Same with assassin, no aoe type of ultimate. I was hoping that their ultimates would be buffed but sadly they're not. Skipping stone bow's ricocheted arrow doesn't always land a guaranteed headshot, but still does if you do the hunter's ultimate. I was hoping Sucker Punch would have the update philosophy of Arc System's DragonBall FighterZ where buffing is the way to go, not nerfing. Buff and nerf reasonably, not just nerf only because that makes a community upset. Rivals might be filled with hunter classes if there aren't enough buffs or nerfs.
@@joeyAdominguez that’s how I see it too!!! Finally someone who gets me 😂😂 BUFFS and NO NERFS, preach Joey preach!!!! 🤣🤣 nerfs upset people, not enough buffs or no buffs upset people, instead of nerfing, just buff everyone or whatever they need to buff just so it’s all equal and then that way since theirs no nerfs then everyone would be happy, got buffs so all characters are the same when it comes to performing in combat, and no nerfs so those characters who were already good stay good and that keeps people happy as well, it’s a win-win 🤷🏻♂️ it boggles my mind that some gaming developers don’t understand this concept 🤦🏻♂️🙄 OP shit is what makes things fun and enjoyable lol as long as it’s not borderline game breaking I’m all for it 👌🏼💯
@@joeyAdominguez Totally. Nerfing is what they did to apex legends, they sand down all the weapons 'sharp edges' till no-one complains and the end result? There's no weapon that's exciting to pick up. I thing in GOT the characters different tier abilities should absolutely be unbalanced compared to each other, but the characters balanced overall.. So a weak first ability is made up for by access to ghost weapons that make up for it. All that said tho, the Hunter does crush it with most kills...
@@joeyAdominguez I couldn't agree more, that's nuts the Samurai can use Forbidden Medicine now, I'd say it's the most OP other than the Hunter with the Skipping Stone Longbow. I agree with buffing instead of nerfing, I'd just like to see the classes evenly powered. I didn't expect them to do updates today, but it was a pleasant surprise. Glad they added more armors and dyes. Can't wait to see the new techniques and perks for binding items to certain classes for the 120 ki
