      i think she is only having a hard times because of hard controls. give her a much (like 50 times probably) easier controls, aka mouse and keyboard, she will fly through the whole game in a week. gamepad is objectively harder coz u cant perform some actions together (which is easily done with kb+mouse) and camera control is harder, i personally cant even beat some bosses with it at all (lorian and lothric for example), while on a kb+mouse im killing em no-hit

      I think you are making shit up... I played Dark Souls 3 for 2 thousand hours and never noticed that supposedly lanterns light the way or the cathedral is lit up as a signal or that red eyed enemies are weaker to fire (which by the way is not entirely true at all)
      I do enjoy your videos and the idea behind them but bruh.... your comments/opinions are so wrong/annoying :/
      Easy mode is not "summon someone what plays the game for you" easy mode is less difficulty but I can still play the game myself.

      I just came back to DS2 and I'm kinda falling in love with it all over again, all the little details like dagger chain attacks, panting when out of stamina, the eratic way Heide knights fight, the number of kinds of secrets, it's just all very cool. That said, fuck fire arrows, enemies could use rebalancing the random hollows shouldn't be stronger than the pirates, especially when the pirate equipment is better, Flexible's water should be a NG+ thing, it's already a tough boss early on.
      But being reminded of Lothric castle/High Wall, castle of Forest of Fallen Giants is like a master class on level design, if feels big and has lots of options but they form many tight loops in a way I don't think Lothric ever managed, and it's not just a layer cake like OG Anor Londo.

      @@jimtsap04 I could right a book on all the things DS2 could do to be nicer, restoring humanity after a boss, like 1~ or 3, would go a long way, especially because their are soo many. AGI's improve defensive actions is pretty vague, and it feels like half of enemies were designed without I-frames in mind, and half were.

    The funny thing is that I put my sign down at Vordt and someone wanted to do the dancer. We did it no problem even though I haven't finished the dancer myself (I use Pyro and Black Pyro spells, maybe thats why the damage is alright). I felt so nice after that. Having to fast travel out of Firelink threw me off the first time. It feels so… wrong. I placed the coiled sword, then spent far too long looking around outside for a path forward. I eventually sat down at the bonfire in frustration, planning to teleport back to fight the Crystal Lizard, when I saw High Wall was an option. I still hate that Firelink isn’t connected to the rest of the game.
    And then Undead Settlement isn’t connected to High Wall, immediately afterwards. I could hardly believe it. And then proceeded along the straight line of a map (with dead end detours along the way). DS1 had such an intricately interconnected map. DS2 starts you at the center of a wheel, and you can tackle each spoke in any order. DS3 probably has th worst overall map design. Individual areas can be well designed, but as a whole, it’s a railroad.

    • @TitoMcFadden
      @TitoMcFadden 3 года назад

      Midir can be extremely difficult for a first dragon boss fight. If you beat Kalameet and even got the pain in the ass tail cut for the Onyx Blade, then you are well equipped mentally to beat Midir because you know the trick is to limit his moveset by baiting attacks that you can evade easily by staying right in front of his giant face. However, for a beginner, Midir can be nearly impossible. If you fight him like you would the other bosses, you're gonna get wrecked.Trying to get behind or under Midir is a quick way to die. But most beginners won't know that and they certainly aren't gonna stand in front of the big, scary dragon's dome piece. So that might be a bit much for now. But then again, everyone struggles with different bosses. The toughest bosses for me in my first playthrough were Slave Knight Gael, Nameless King, and weirdly enough, Pontiff Sulyvahn. (Oh, and Desert Pyromancer Zoey but she's not technically a boss. Unfortunately, nobody told her that) Most people are surprised when I say I struggled with the Pontiff but beat Champion Gundyr and Lothric Bois on my first try.
