Imo opinion this could be marketed to buyers like my daughter. Twenty something, single, makes a decent living but cannot afford $1500 to $2000 a month for a dinky apartment. This unit is awesome. Gonna show it to her, she'll flip.
The O in IMO stands for opinion that was you don’t say opinion twice cheers.
I’m 21 saving up for a unit like this… this thing is perfect; makes me wanna pull out a loan haha
And where are you going to put it? $1500 a month to put it in an RV park… unless she mooches off a family members land
Are you trying to sell the trailer? Or marry off your daughter lol 😂
@@Captndartythank you for mentioning this!! People seem to think rv parks are cheap when in reality they’re just as expensive if not more expensive than an apartment
Ok, now i need to get some property and put a few of these on it and make my own little tiny home rental village for the traveling workers.
That is what I am thinking as well seeing this!
This is phenomenal! This shows that they are listening to what customers want and are looking for. This estimated price is great for what you get as well. Thank you so much for sharing.
I Love this floor plan and that RV brands are getting into the “tiny home” market! This would be a great home!
I really LOVE this setup. I'm completely over slides after dealing with them the past 6 years. I think it's way cool, the height however could be an issue.
Tell us how slides let you down and why to avoid them in future ?
Google schwintek lippert slide failure. The lateral tolerance of that system is 1/4", camping trailers have 2 to 4 times that due to frame flex. Another system is the cables which require occasional re-jigging. And other other systems like the Underbelly gear drive or hydraulic typically have the least issues.
The height? Seriously? It’s a house, is the burger king drive through really that big of a deal?
@@yourdaddy9622No but a low overpass on a parkway will be at highway speeds
@@IronskullGM so plan your route.. it’s 2023, you can literally google “bridges that are low between place and place” and have a pretty good idea.. that’s a lot in seconds. Take a day, you’re moving a house. Otherwise, buy a camper lol.
I like it so much I called and I am ordering one! :-)
Well, did you?
The price is unbelievably low as compared to a tiny house. This would be an easy purchase for Airbnb. I absolutely love it.
Finally an RV with decent headroom. I hope it starts a trend.
Holy cow this is better and much cooler than a tiny home!
About time they think outside the box
I knew this would happen when they started building destination trailers. This is a wonderful home. I can't do the stairs like that, but my daughter could! And the price is well below what most tiny houses would cost. I think we're going to see several companies start their own tiny home builds.
This is gorgeous! I have mobility issues so the upstairs bedroom wouldn't work for me but for someone who doesn't have problems with stairs, this would be amazing! Very clever indeed. Thanks for bringing us so wonderful reviews 🙂
One can always sleep downstairs on the sleeper sofa
Absolutely amazing. We have been pulling trailers for years and this takes the cake. Love it. They are really taking the tiny home concept to a new level. I can see buying this and keeping it on property at the lake and using it as a weekend getaway.
That thing is amazing. That's the perfect RV to buy some land and put on property and even Airbnb it!
I think that is quite the upgrade for a couple who likes the outdoors.
I absolutely love this! I would be thrilled to own one for my wife and I. The porch is amazing and all those windows. Just love it.
Wish they had a longer one with slides. Love it.
I could live in that full time.
Love it.. For me that's the way forward.. Love the deck. Lofts all of it.
Heading across the United States to pick mine up right now. I’m nervous, but excited. I have some concerns, but I think overall, it’s going to be a great little unit.
How was towing one back I just purchased one also
Keep us posted on the travel. I want to take one to Texas 😌🪶
Definitely a park model. No way you would be pulling something that tall all over the country. Bridge height will be an issue, not to mention cross winds.
Yeah I don't know how this is possible to bring anywhere
@@JohnBrown-nm3pdwith a solid truck it won’t be an issue towing it on the occasion. Though You wouldn’t wanna be moving it every couple of weeks for a long trip
Just use a trucking GPS for heigh clearance. Maybe roads with small bridges.
OMG 😊. I love ❤️ it! To me it’s perfect. I wish I could get it. This would be good in a back yard for relatives visiting.
This is my childhood dream come true. I love it.
This mini loft is one of the best things I’ve seen in a long time absolutely love the layout and the little porch on the back👻
About time RV companies started leaning into the Tiny Home trend. I travel for work and I would prefer an RV vs staying in hotels all the time but I don't need a "Camper" I don't need a collapsible camp kitchen, I don't need acres of waterproof storage underneath the floor, I don't need an outside entertainment area fit with TV's and speakers, I literally need a home on the road. I am curious to see this design philosophy on a 5th wheel because I feel like something this size would be better towed over the axle vs behind it.
That is kinda like of "Bitser" model by Build Tiny...It's more a "tiny home" theme but off-grid capable because it has water/waste tanks. Again.. Great find, JD! Keep it up
Impeccable. Ingenious! Amazing. Love it❤
Wow! Was waiting for this to happen. Surprised it took this long. Very nice. Right now the stairs & loft would work but as one ages stairs would be less ideal so a Murphy bed down would be a great idea as floor plans get created. Overall I would buy one!
Wow. This is incredible !!! I would 100% live in this !
Yep, I'd live in that!!!! Beautiful!!!!
That is refreshing, never seen anything like that before!
Been living in a Grand Design Imagine 2600rb on a beautiful property for 3 years (haven't moved it once) and Im starting to look for something new. I think I just found it!
Very much liking this completely. Only thing, could they put a small dome cap on the front for aerodynamics?
That was my thought as well. Turbos going to stay in boost.
I agree.....best in show!! LOVE it!!
I love this so much. Definitely hope they make more models like this. I personally would want one that’s a little longer to give more living space
OMG that is amazing. Shut up and take my money lol
That is a really pretty rv. Great for younger folks. When you hit 60 you want to be on the same floor as the restroom. 😄
Thanks for showing the view from the seats. You’re the best, JD!
That ways around the same as my camper that i live in and it looks awesome.
All of this for under $50,000, GAME CHANGER!!!!!
Unbelievable, it presents itselff with a huge feeling!
This will get every mfgs rethinking their product
Gorgeous
I live in a campground for work during the summer months, curious if it’s a 30amp or 50amp. Also the one rub I see is loft bedroom for people that use the bathroom more than once in a night. Negotiating stairs when 1/2 asleep. Plus all the heat rises I’d assume it might get a bit warm up top during the summer months, and I only saw one AC unit, but a total benefit when it’s cooler out too! I’d put a convection microwave in to avoid excess heat from the oven, again a great perk in the cooler months. The refrigerator will likely have to be on shore power. So off grid would require a power source to run all those little extras. High profile on windy days towing. It would be great as a buy it and park. Seems to have a fair and reasonable price point! Dishwasher could go free up counter space and with that big fridge ice maker a nice bonus I guess. No slides, definitely a perk for me! There is definitely like more then I dislike! Thanks for not breaking the bank on this gem!
Stunning! I don't like anything on the RV market at all. This is getting me to dream again! And i remember telling myself once, that i wish a tiny home was on wheels. Which did not exist. Creative minds are busy at work!
I usually count the number of “cool’s” and “super-cools” in your reviews. 7 in this one, I believe. Cool.
Absolutely beautiful 😍
I saw this in person at an RV show and it is amazing, but all I could think about were the high winds in Kansas while trying to travel with it. It is tempting to get it as another redsidence in the property to enjoy.
That is really cool! I absolutely love the tiny house feel of it. I haven't done any research on this new model, but my concerns would be: 1. How well insulated this is, including the windows R-value. 2 the lock on that sliding door
I agree. Heating and a/c?
More about the floor? Can you do solar on the roof. I live in AZ. That’s a bonus!
Very cool…thanks for posting!
Super cool!
This trailer is amazing !
The concept is there, but that’s a lot for 2 people, and I’m only 31 and in good shape, I’d hate to have to crawl into bed or hit my head in the middle of the night when I have to use the restroom. And a very small eating space as well and no counter space. Phenomenal review though sir thank you
Amazing!!!!!!
Absolutely love it
That is awesome!!! Thank you for the great video!
oh wow it's amazing!! This could actually work for a community of abused women/ men or even homeless vet community!!
Thanks for showing!!
wow. i think im in love.
The is wonderful!! I think it would be awesome if there was a small walkway overtop the couch downstairs that went from the main loft to the smaller loft. Instead of just the ladder up to the smaller one. But either way I would love to have the trailer!! Thank you for sharing this!
Wow! Is right. I am so excited I can cry. 🥲 Thank you for doing an excellent video and taking the time to show all the details. I would buy this above a tiny home. Note: Some RV parks don’t except tiny homes, but now you can have a tiny home and live in an RV park. Win, Win. Thank you.
Supercool!
Beautiful, hope to see more like this.
Super cool design... Coming from a "not trailer guy" who's been thinking about ADU's. What a great potential alternative. 💫
What makes you say it’s like a Tiny Home, it is a tiny home Gadget. 😊
This is why I’m subscribed. Keep bringing us gems. That you will not see on any other channel. Some people probably walked right pass because they don’t like it or it’s not a name brand. At least they are showing innovation. I used the word innovation twice today. Keep up the great work!!!!
Looks really good
This is incredibly cool. Maybe something a bit bigger in an 18 or 20ft floor plan for families with two kids so they can have their own comfy sleeping spaces would be ideal. A very very cool design.
LOVE IT!
This is great and exactly what id want
Had I not bought a 5th wheel earlier this year, I might have purchased a tiny home. But, after seeing this model, I would change my mind again. Wow! Back porch, icemaker, dishwasher, washer/dryer, big bathroom, king size bedroom. I could live like this! JD -- If you mentioned its traveling height, I missed it. Air conditioner(s)? 30A/50A? Type of water heater? Thank you for the video. Lou from Georgia. PS -- I like this so much, I need to do some additional research. 🙂
This is such an amazing concept! I have a feeling with this we are entering a new era of travel trailers.
It's not a travel trailer. It's a hybrid between a Park Trailer (aka Destination Trailer) and a travel trailer. It is designed to be moved to a location where it stays. It can be relocated but it is not designed for constant travel like a normal travel trailer. Due it's small size, it is easier to move. Tiny home people don't typically own a pickup with 12,000 lb tow ratings and Cat 4 load leveling hitches. For that reason, Park Trailers are usually moved by a contractor.
Excellent review. Right length and he does a great job.
The ice maker is a table-top dishwasher. Love you bro
I was pointing past the dishwasher my friend 😅
Well foot in mouth. Apologies brother@@BTBRVLife
I like it, my wife loves it. Nice to see something really innovative.
Love it! Found my next home!!
This would make a great destination home for up in a mountain view property. Love it.
Wow... definitely cool. From the bit of searching I've done, it appears the MSRP is about $62K, but one dealer is already advertising it for under $38K. Otherwise, doesn't appear to be on the Forest River website yet, so hard to know what is standard for these prices and what is optional. I agree the off-road tires and fancy wheels look nice on the show field but are probably a place to save money if actually buying one of these. Looks like a nice alternative to a tiny home. The height could be an issue with towing. Especially if there's an RV A/C unit on top as well.
the roof drops down to accomodate the A/C unit. 13ft 6in is the legal height limit, this won't have an issue because it will be near or under that.
Who advertised it for cheap?
@@pumasroqq shows up on a dealer through RVUSA. Whether or not it's legit is anyone's guess.
Considering most tiny homes are going for over 100,000 dollars nowadays this is a good option.
@@eugeniaskelley5194 not used ones. Tons available in the $30-50k range
Thank you I was looking for reviews on this. I’ve already been looking at it. I’m saving up to buy.
Thank you for the update and video. That is an amazing concept. I shared your video with my wife, much more affordable than the tiny home we were looking at purchasing for passive income.
This is like a luxurious japanese mini appartment.
The only thing i don't get, it the control pannel placement.
I really like how it's built, it looks like it won't have any structural issues for a long time. I really don't like slide outs because they go bad eventually. The best part of this build is the open lay out. You can really go crazy on how you want to make it look inside.
6:30 That TV height is a HUGE mistake. Can you imagine watching TV and looking up 45deg? A lot of necks are going to hurt. Other than that, I LOVE this.
i actually love this thing... but i do wish it didn't have the balcony so that they just extended the living room a bit more or more kitchen counter space
❤ love this. I feel the look and builds are shifting for the better!
The more I looked at this at Open House, the more sense it made. Vacation rentals, temporary housing, what a great idea and you would be able to tow it with, perhaps, a 3/4 ton truck. Nice!
I need 2 of them with my grand lodge and our 2 acres , would be a super place to rent out! Air B and B . I bet they can not build them fast enough!
This is beautiful! Im so happy companies have started going this route with the tiny home style. Id love this with one large slideout in the lower seating area to live in full time.
A beautiful rv/tiny home with an awesome, awesome concept. The days of hubby and I being able to crawl into bed are long gone (lol) but what an innovative rv. I hope it has a lot of success.
Absolutely gorgeous and huge!!! Love this!! Bathroom snd deck desks the deal
Wow, I hope this catches on! Haven't been excited for a new rv in a while.
Best in show .............. !!!
Myles covered this already in a short but your review is nicer paced I feeled
Everyone was trying to cover this thing
This. Is. AWESOME.
I want it.
If that unit had opposing slides in the living area it would be just about perfect.
Oh I know RIGHT!
It would be almost PERFECT 😊👍🏽
Perfect for us, would be a downstairs bedroom too 😁😅
Fantastic! Love the innovation. Really worth the look! Thank you 😊
That is a fantastic travel trailer! 100% with your review. I can see me and the wife sitting on that patio. Super nice unit.
Love it. 1 central bath kinda sucks but still love it
This is amazing
This looks just like a small tiny house, but if the price is in fact well under $50k, hands down this would be a better option given the price, but it’s unknown if this is four seasons. My guess is that it isn’t, so depending on where you plant it, it likely wouldn’t be a good rig for full-time use. But as far as a small vacation place, or even a full-time home in a mild climate area, it’s would be great. It sounds like you might even be able to tow this with a 1/2 ton, even though it’s a bit high.
Doubt its 4 seasons, but its a "warm climate" rig. Its designed for "full" slips for cure.
I would guess most of these get towed once -- from the dealer where they are bought to wherever they sit for the rest of their existence. Especially if they have a sewer connection too. It IS a tiny home, lots of home-built ones on trailers to get around "building code" issues already exist.
I mean with a washer dryer, dishwasher and ice maker its REALLY obvious that this is intended to be. I would still prefer a Boxable or Vessel though, and those are in the same price range with less mobility.
So far I've seen two dealers selling it for 37k and 39k.
I think it's around 8k dry. With the contents of a home, it would likely reach 9500 lbs which is pushing what you want to tow with a 1500. I realize newer 1500's like my Ram are rated at 11,600. But the height and resulting sway of this trailer in the event of wind or an avoidance swerve could end badly since it's a bumper pull. I wouldn't attempt it without a Hensley or Arrow anti-sway hitch with load leveling. A 2500 would be a better choice if it's more than a local tow.
Wow I really Liked this trailer Just enough of everything, If I was 20 years younger, I am not for crawling around in the Bed Room anymore.
We are considering this for our deer camp and it just be stationary year round. It would be a perfect set up for us!
I love it!!
