@@tearfulblondie Well, it's parodying the X-Factor, as well as the 7'o clock news, the 9'o clock news and the news at 10, BBC news reports/report time slots. It is also such a lame joke, the joke-writer got killed over it.
too old to laugh at this? haha dont be daft i'm 28 and i love it :) they won an award at the British comedy awards - deservedly so too. funny and educational. need more shows like this
@BrionyCoote well, as with all Crafts and Skills, mishaps happen sometimes. And actually the Axe was far mor reliable on average then the Sword, as the Axe had much more Weight and Momentum. The Sword was reserved to Noblemen, as a Sign of Status, but beheading with a Sword took much more Skill.
I think in every History lesson, instead of looking at books and listening to the teacher and all that, they should just play horrible histories for the whole lesson. That way we'll also be learning about different periods of time all at once instead of just one. Thumbs up if you agree? :)
@athenaloca It's a play on words. They say noose instead of news. So you have the 7 o'clock or 9 o'clock news, and the infamous "news at ten". It's a very cheesy joke, but those are the best kinds :P
This is way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way better than The X Factor :D
In the UK we have the 6 o'clock news , 7 o'clock news and the news at 10 plus the writer who came up with that awfully but good joke who we brits put on the real chopping block.
"This is the Noose at Ten... and this is the person who wrote that joke."
The noose joke is probably the best joke in the show, IMO.
Please can you explain it

"This is the noose at ten."

"And this is the person who wrote that joke" lol
'What makes ou think you should get this job?'
'I've got the axe and you haven't'
"...and this is the person that wrote that joke." lol

It's a pun on the word 'news'. So there's the 7 o'clock news, the 9 o'clock news, and the news at 10.

Hey ... That's the same place that Dick Turpin got hanged (in the highway man song) xD
The noose joke is the best one in the whole series (Six Idiots run).
They should make "The Axe Factor" for real. You know? Cutting edge TV.

@BrionyCoote yesyes, we all admire you very much for showing off like that!
The name alone will attract some people from a certain forum :P.
@Vault101Reject well as said in Blaizing Saddles, "No noose is good noose!"
This is way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way way better than The X Factor :D
