@AustinWorthington As well as the Monty Python skit where John Cleese was the fighting instructor teaching them self defense against people armed with fruit and Michael Palin repeatedly asks to learn about defending themselves against attackers with point-ed sticks. :D

Tunisians aren't Black.
But yea they did have a specialized tool kit for black gladiators. However it wasn't specialized for any particular culture, they just took black slaves and trained them with it for matches.

most gladiators were pows, slaves, or citizens who sold themselves to pay debt..he could have been the last..while not numerous, "black" citizens were not uncommon...
