The informal chatty style of Jamie's presentation is what I value when I share with my San Francisco grandchildren 13 and 9 male and female so that they can embrace and cook with the benefit of his clear instinctive explanations. he has learned while teaching his children to cook... they love the quick informal style and seeing his family respond. to his love filled meals...love the veggie curry episode he did after this rather tortured video above.....hands off jamie. handle with care you all....love...and thanks to the team... which is primarily the family.
Look at Jamie's first TV show - he could barely look at the camera. Now he's doing 30 minute live ad libs flawlessly. Good work pal!

You are the best Jamie you never change just always down to worth thank you for that I do buy a cookbooks but I don’t cook very much now as I’m in my late 60s and I have no one really to cook for but I still love looking through them and also watching your programs bye from 😅
My favorite recipes are Mediterranean and Italian. I've been watching your videos for a very long time, I think even from your start on YT. You are one of my favorite chefs and I don't have many. I like simplicity, intuitive cooking, vegetarian, fish and seafood, poultry but I don't eat pork or red meat. So I'm giving up on these recipes. The ingredients you use look like those from Quebec. So they are accessible to us too. I'm definitely going to pick up this book and a big THANK YOU to your wife for pushing you to make this awesome book.

❤ My 98 year old mum loves this cookbook and received it a week ago. But as she doesn’t like change, she wants Jamie to put the ingredients back down on the left hand page. Lol. She wants us to cook just about every recipe.
This recipe looks fabulous but it’s only when I see you make the recipes, it comes alive off the written page. The videos plus the book are so important together. She’ll love this as her name is Hazel & loves any of your recipes that has Hazelnuts in it as she thinks it’s for her namesake. Lol

I have never made a comment before about the camera work, hoping it would get better (since 1999?!?), but can you guys PLEASE, please, please (!!) stop moving the camera. Your work is really the best(!!) of any show, but the moving, shaking camera is just so hard to watch and not get dizzy, AND, also loose depth perception. Jamie doesn't need any added affects to make him "cool" (?) if that's what it's trying to achieve. I understand it might be considered "artistic", but again, Jamie doesn't need that; his work alone is artistic enough.
Jamie is by far the BEST CHEF EVER, next to Gennarro, of course.💞💞😃💞
I’ve got 5 Nancy Wolfort Mediterranean cookbooks; never used one of them. Way too many ingredients (20+). So thanks to your wife for “encouraging “ you. My wife about my ambitions : “That’ll never happen.” Direct quote. She was right. Going to order your book today.😅
