- Brook Park, Ohio -- An officer pulled over a vehicle for speeding, while issuing the ticket, a driver rammed into the back of the cop car and then backed up. Officers determined that the woman was probably impaired and had her perform SFSTs.
They determined that she was impaired.
The woman, later identified as Tracy Cucuzza, was charged with the following
- DUI
- BAC more than .17
- Assured clear distance ahead
She has plead not guilty.

The interaction between the officer and the first lady is how everyone should be with each other

That's worse than a whipping and being grounded in the summertime 😫
The woman that was originally pulled over for speeding handled that stop perfectly. Such a nice calm demeanor, had all her info ready to go and didn’t argue at all when the cop told her she was speeding. I’m sure that the drunk driver hitting the cop saved her from any kind of ticket but that’s a perfect example of karma. She was very sweet and very cooperative and also very thoughtful for asking the cop if he was ok. Maybe that’s the reason she got to go home without a ticket.
The universe legit said "no not that driver dumbass. this one" *whack*
@60s Man 60s Guitars what’s your problem dude? If she had been cold to the officer you’d probably have some shit to say too. Yes, you catch more flies with honey then vinegar. If you’re not an asshole your life will usually go more smoothly, welcome to the world.
@@Riggy931 he was presenting you with reality. the lady had a great attitude and this was PROBABLY prompted by the luck of a worse situation getting her out of her minor one. imagine you are getting a ticket and someone fender benders the cop mid ticket writing...i mean it's a dream because you are on a busy road and just assume he now has bigger fish to fry and you are off the menu baby. two things can be true at once and you don't have to live life as a sucker. seeing this situation from several different angles can be enriching to widening your overall perspective on the world and gives you a more grounded view of tough scenarios like this.
he didn't say she was a bad person but just noted (probably after seeing 328947238947 comments like I have about how cordial she was) that her relief of escaping a ticket helped her mood in the interaction.
@@ct-gt2dt it’s not a more grounded view of the scenario it’s just a more cynical one. Saying she was asking about his health to “merely” help herself and that she was playing an “old” trick by being nice is painting the lady in a negative light for no reason. These assumptions about her intentions and her real concern are just that, assumptions. All of us agree that she was nice, not only to be nice, but to ensure the best outcome for herself. Your parents should have told you this is how the world works. So you drafting a paragraph and the original needless comment aren’t telling us anything new. The telling part is how you and the other guy see someone being nice and without any other context or reason you start projecting selfish desires. That lady was being pleasant before anything else happened. If you’re nice all the time you won’t have to worry about being nice to trick people. Thanks for “widening” my perspective though.
@@Riggy931 well there's no trick being played.....where do you get that? her situation improved and her mood improved with it. like i said two things can be true at once. this lady can both have good manners and also be spurred to use them by the specifics of the situation she is in. i'm sure she's the type of person to ask a stranger how they are doing but the cop's attention being taken away from her gave her a lot of room for positivity that she might otherwise not experience had she just gotten a ticket.
i don't see how this is an assumption when it's kind of common sense. if you get out of a ticket then aren't you in a better mood? and if you are in a better mood aren't you interacting with others more kindly and more freed up to worry about others instead of focusing on yourself? at what point can we drop the semantics for a little bit of reality.
you see this as a cynical view because you are a sensitive person haha. it's not really that cynical. it's not negative. it's just an attempt to understand the psychology of the situation and make plausible conclusions about people's actions based on that psychology. i would argue that you yourself might have a negative worldview that you are projecting onto my fairly neutral thoughts. a lot of things can sound negative when it's what you're looking for. you will always find what you're looking for.

I was a volunteer firefighter for 20 years plus. One night while we were enroute back to our station after spending hours training at the local fire school we stopped on the shoulder of the highway to help a broken down car. While helping a woman who was under the influence crashed into the back of our Engine almost killing 3 of our firefighters who just managed to scramble for cover. She survived but managed to injure slightly 2 of us inside the Engine I being one of us. I have seen the end result of many accident scenes I have responded to and years later I have been diagnosed with PTSD. What part of don't drink and drive can't people understand?
Totally agree. And that's also why I think they should lose their license for life after something like that. The ability to drive is a priveledge, and all it takes is one drunk driving accident to kill someone.
"What part of don't drink and drive can't people understand?" People are stupid. And they have magical thinking; what they hear drunk driving does to other people, would *never* be because of them... they're a gOod pERsoN and 'mean no harm'.
I'm sorry about the PTSD; that's Dante's 10th Circle of Hell.
Damn, that really sucks.
You volunteer to help people, and then almost die in the process because of people who shouldn't have been on the road.
Sorry to hear of your PTSD, I hope you're dealing with that ok. But its any small consolation, I hope you know that volunteering your time like that to help probably did a lot of good for people.
idk man. I dont drink but everytime I did I questioned why someone would drive. damn near blackout and I still knew better. I hope things are going well for you man. PTSD is no joke. Best of luck bro.
I’m usually not a stickler, but this was genuinely difficult to attempt to read through. Punctuation will go a long way for you.
I’m immediately like how is this nice lady going to reverse into the cop car?!

That one beer was 128oz. Wow, so glad this accident wasn't worse.
I saw an episode of "COPS" when the cop pull over a truck because one taillight was out. While she was talking to the driver, out of nowhere this drunk was driving so fast, he hit the police car, which then hit the truck. The police car was so damaged, it was put out of commission and she had to ride the rest of the shift with the sgt. When they asked if he saw the lights, he said no.😆 The cop, the cameraman, and the other driver wasn't hurt.
It was a mega-pint!☠️
I drank one of those once way back in 1982. Yeah I spent the night in jail for dui. I was n army n just married . My new wife threatened to leave me ( she didn't) the army busted me in rank so it was an expensive beer.im 63 now, retired and hardly ever drink anymore.

The original traffic stop girl lucked out! What helped her first was that she was NICE and RESPECTFUL to the officer, which goes a long way, plus the officer had a much more pressing problem with a drunk driver rear ending him.

@@dirty_deeds3523 Outside of city limits maybe, they're not so ridiculous when you're blowing through a residential area 45 over the limit, and hit a kid. Problem is, most people are shit drivers and can't be trusted going over 60mph on a highway.
Yeah, but she is going to have to work on her speeding habit and failure to use her seat belt though. The fact that she was courteous here does NOT excuse those.
@@Koon_the_Goon my fault, forgot to respond to this. thanks for your reply, I really only speed on the highways and interstates where there is room to go fast without weaving. Awww, I love how that first driver was not only initially apologetic and cooperative, but then concerned for the cops safety and well-being after realizing he’d been hit! THAT is what’s going on all over America, but we don’t get to see that plastered on the news. We don’t see the millions of kind and cooperative interactions with police officers across this country that happen on a daily basis. And I think it’s so important to highlight those in order to temper the negatively skewed image that is created when we’re only being exposed to the worst case scenarios over and over again, ad nauseam.
It is true. There is only one positive video.. called "I´ll take my felonies"...She was nice and the officer was as well....And as some other cop said on his channel many cops are very decent and nice to people even toward criminals and that people are often surprised how nice the cops are toward arrested people.... that suspects and offenders often treat officers with respect than the people of the neighborhood who watch the arrest.
This young lady he stopped was ready for him with her info. Not a "what did I do" before handing over her ID. No "what crime did I commit" or the ever popular "don't you have murders and drug dealers to chase down instead of messing with me" nonsense. Respect is the word, she was genuinely concerned for him and the drunk moron. Sad to say to many are the opposite and even when confronted with video proof they'd still lie.
@@jonboll-LGM Aww, thanks! I think we get a bad rap because we just don’t have time for anybodies shit 🤣 The city is fast paced, and so we move at lightning speed sometimes.
