I suppose Namibians is not in line for anything, but just the fact that I'm watching this should tell you that I am a RANGER fan. Currently in the market and just waiting for the rite moment!! The Wildtract is my first choice. Enjoying your channel.

It's amazing that no car manufacturers try and seal up the tubs, it's little things like that that would sway droves of buyers yet they don't even bother.
Just bought myself a RANGER Sport. I love your videos for a bit of insight into what mods to add. Have to agree though, some of the safety alerts are the most annoying thing so far.
All these 'nagging nanny reminders' is why I still drive my 2006 Nissan Frontier NISMO 4x4 with a tried and true standard transmission. Can you immagine how expensive its going to be to replace these 'saftey alerts' when you get into something other than a fender bender! Not to menthion waiting for the parts to come in and find a qualified tech to get it right the first time.
There a handsome ute, I've got an older PB Mitsubishi Challenger and got a wagon because of the dust issue from utes. Never lets dust in, a bit more of a space issue when camping but I've started removing the rear seats which solves that, I can easily sleep in it if I need to. Good video
Love the feedback on the newer Fords. I work in a ARB store and we see a lot of the RANGER and Everest comiing through. Unfortunately, I dont have the money to buy one. Keep up the good work!
New Subscriber. Fantastic content mate. About to purchase the new “RANGER” in coming months and am super keen. Thanks for creating these videos. Keep them coming and Happy Easter.
I recently got the next gen amarok, couldn’t be happier with it and seeing this video on the “RANGER” and seeing how happy you are with it makes me happy with my purchase given they share the same platform
Nice Ranger mate ;) I bought my first 4x4 in november, a 2014 mn triton! I have been watching a lot of your old triton videos and get a lot of inspiration for mods from them. Next I want to upgrade tyres and rims. Take it easy!
Am now driving my second RANGER and one of the things that I had with the first one was the dust issue with the fibre glass canopy. This time I have had an alloy tray and canopy fitted.
Went back and forth for 10 days between a next gen Ranger Raptor 2.0 diesel (available here in NZ) and a Ranger Wildtrak V6. Finally settled on the V6, take delivery in 4 weeks. I hope I made the right call!
I ordered my now United States 🇺🇸 2024 Ranger XLT back in last February from the factory. I bought it in late July. I can’t believe I have had it for a little over a month. It would really cool driving on the passenger side of my model and the drivers seat in your country model.
Picked up a Platinum over the Xmas period from Muswellbrook Ford NSW. Could not be happier with the car or dealership, both have been superb. Love it, V6 is a beaut..Gas strut tailgate is standard fit on the Platinum
Mainly here as your thumbnail has your truck with a camper shell on it. I know it’s heresy, but I will be putting one on my Ranger raptor. I really like that Prinsu makes a roof rack (with led strip lights in front) that also has a level, extended rack for the camper shell, so I can mount my canoe. I will also remove the spare tire from under (swapping to 35’s which won’t fit) and adding a swing out tire mount on rear bumper (high clearance aftermarket rear bumper with matching front bumper). Then just eibach’s and aftermarket beadlocks. Hennessey tune (USA 500hp WITH warranty!!) and I’ll be done after a shit ton of aux lighting and see if swaybar disconnect from bronco raptor will bolt in.
RANGER. Nice r3view, and good insight into modifications for the RANGER. As an avid DIY Ute owner love the strut and seal mods, looking to get into the v6 Wildtrack when I retire in 12 months. Sandgroper!!!
Love my RANGER Wildtrak V6 and have the same canopy on it. I recently went the OME BP-51 shock upgrade with OME 300kg leaf springs and AirBag Man Airbags for when the camper trailer is attached. So far I’m very happy with the ride! Look forward to seeing what’s to come.
Thank you for all the information I hope to pick up my first Ranger some time next week it will need a few accessories to set it up to get out there and enjoy this great country Thanks again
This is first time I saw your vedio. I love your review it help me choose which truck. I'm now looking to buy either Toyota grs, ranger or navara. Thank you so much
I have never come as close as to punching my dash in as I have with my ford hey…hooking the van on I swear to god the beeping doubles! It’s not a bad idea just so excessively used for things that as a driver you know your doing haha
Great feedback on the Next Gen RANGER. I am waiting for a new Wildtrak and the only thing I am not looking forward to are those BONGS. Keep the videos coming.
The 2 things I hate on mine are the auto-stop and lane control which I turn off each start up! Ford needs have at least a fix for the lane control to be off at all times if needed.
Your Ranger looks awesome. I'm looking forward to seeing the mods over the next year. I bought the V6 Everest and went down the Lennard's track last week and it defiantly needs a lift kit. I gave the bash plates a good workout lol.
Haha yeah lennards is getting worse and worse I have not tried it yet in the new rig I will probably give it a go post lift. Glad ya liked the video mate
We went from a wagon to a Ute mainly due to the practicality and space once a wagon starts to have draws etc inside they start to become less practical on a day to day basis. But there are plenty of pros to a wagon being its sealed etc

Need to look into it before purchase. Our ideal Ford would be the Raptor, but out of our budget. Can’t wait for your next video. Cheers matey and thanks again. Safe travels.
Hey mate thanks for watching the limp mode was a recall but it has been sorted now so you won’t have any issues enjoy the new car when you get it mate!
Have a look underneath, there’s rust in a number of machined faces like the brake line on the hubs and the driveline, they are rusted when you purchase them
@@4x4CampingandAdventures shame I can’t post some photos here that I have of a new ranger sitting in the dealership right now, when I questioned the salesman, he offered to show me all the other rangers in his lot that had the same issue, he said they come over here on a boat you know! I had a 23 Triton work Ute in their car park and asked him if he would like to find any rust under it and it came here on a boat as well, before he could follow through with the offer to inspect the other rangers, his boss came and interrupted us and promised all the rust would be cleaned and treated before my son took ownership of the vehicle. If my son wasn’t so hell bent on buying the Ute I would have asked for the deposit back. Do you have the rust protection pack?
@scottparker3016 no I don’t have any rust protection when I brought it as it was a demo mate but I had a look and couldn’t find anything bar some chips I notice on the front control arms but that could have been a rock or something damaging it as it’s now got 40,000ks on it

It’s being going great so far mate they are not as highly strung as people think, they max out at 22psi which in diesel terms isn’t much but the V6 is a power house but there have been issues with that model to.

Do you do much 4WD at the moment? (Only just found your channel, so I don't have the history, but I'm going back to watch some videos now)
Hey Brayden, are you thinking of eventually putting a bill bae on the ranger? I like the look of it as is, but thinking all it takes is one animal hit and you're in trouble
At the moment I am thinking about it if we can find one we like I do like the fact there isn’t 60kg over hanging the front end but there is the possibility of hitting a animal as well. So atm it’s shelved untill we find one we like.
Good rundown and good to see that some of the simplest things have been included instead of just loading up the tech. I would love to have a step like that on mine as getting stuff off the roof rack is a real pain. I will likely get one of those expanding ladder things at some point. Great job with the giveaways and I now have a very nice rechargeable LedLenser torch that I bought from BCF with the voucher I was fortunate enough to receive from you recently. I wonder if anyone will come out with a sealed camper type thing to go on the back of twin cabs? It would solve a lot of the issues that they have but I guess it would be very very expensive to do. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching mate! A sealed tub would be just be perfect for these type of cars I still dont know why they have not done it. Awesome news on the BCF voucher mate glad it come in handy!
Have you found the Ranger android/apple connectivity is prone to drop outs? My previous daily (xr6 ute) had perfect bluetooth until the engine started. Then no bluetooth.
I'm a new viewer and enjoyed your review 💯👌.... "Ranger" I've never considered the Ranger for my type of off-roading but I'm seriously impressed with the interior and that screen is nuts good!!! Have you considered doing a GVM upgrade?? I can't wait for more videos and yes I'll be checking out your old videos 👍👍👍 Keeping em coming, Cheers, AL
Gday AL thanks for watching mate I appreciate it! I haven’t considered the GVM mainly because I’m not going to be loading it up with gear what you see at the moment is pretty much fully loaded and the fact I don’t run a big caravan ball weight is another one mate. I hope ya enjoy the old vids mate!

At the moment I am thinking about it if we can find one we like I do like the fact there isn’t 60kg over hanging the front end but there is the possibility of hitting a animal as well. So atm it’s shelved untill we find one we like.
Hi if you would have got a wildtrak they have a bolt on seal. no dust gets in the back of my tub.peter.
Ranger... Great review on the Love and Hate Ford Ranger👌👍
Thanks mate
One of the main reasons I sold my PX2 Wildtrak.
The alarms and warnings were off the chart annoying.
I hated it so much.
What size tyres/ rims and offset did you use on this ? Cheers
I have a 2014 RANGER and never had an issue
I know a lot of people who have not had a issue with them mate considering how many they sold
Hi, great video!
Can you tell me what rims, tyres you have on the car and do you need to flare the guards out?
Thanks
Thanks for your take on the Ford Ranger, I'm not sure whether to go Wildtrack or Raptor.
Raptor is a weekend toy but can’t tow much wildtrack is more luxury touring rig imo
nice ranger! great spec. What set of tires are under this beast?
Thanks mate BF Goodrich ATs 285/65/18
Let’s put it this way; I’d have one in a heartbeat! Big fan.
You were sold on the Blackwood river trip coming out of Gus to the comfortable Ranger 🤣
@@4x4CampingandAdventures man it was like going from a tractor to a Maserati 😂
Hahaha but ya can’t beat old Gus
Hi.
Can I ask your reasons for not keeping your Y62?
Thank you
Cameron
Warranty issues with Nissan was the main reason mate.
Love the RANGER mate 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks mate
Would have loved to see a contrast to your Patrol covering comfort, consumption,set-up and Overlanding practicality
Future video right there mate!
@@4x4CampingandAdventures am in this boat currently so looking forward.
Nice video, mate. What editing software/app do you use. Love the transitions.
CapCut mate!
Here in the NT the tilt tray companies love 'em.
😂😂😂 blown gearboxes everywhere hey it’s keeping people busy!
Wildtrack has the tub seals standard
Good to know mate!
Nice RANGER but still miss the Y62 😅
I miss that V8
@@4x4CampingandAdventuresoh I’m sure she misses you to ❤ if you need your fix, you know who to ask 🍻
Haha blooody oath mate
Have you found the Ranger android/apple connectivity is prone to drop outs? My previous daily (xr6 ute) had perfect bluetooth until the engine started. Then no bluetooth.
No it’s been really good mate no connection issues that I have found
I'm a new viewer and enjoyed your review 💯👌....
"Ranger"
I've never considered the Ranger for my type of off-roading but I'm seriously impressed with the interior and that screen is nuts good!!!
Have you considered doing a GVM upgrade??
I can't wait for more videos and yes I'll be checking out your old videos 👍👍👍
Keeping em coming,
Cheers,
AL
Gday AL thanks for watching mate I appreciate it! I haven’t considered the GVM mainly because I’m not going to be loading it up with gear what you see at the moment is pretty much fully loaded and the fact I don’t run a big caravan ball weight is another one mate. I hope ya enjoy the old vids mate!
Good video and awesome microphone quality. Love the videos
Code word Ranger
Hey mate that means a lot I changed up my audio gear a few months ago and was 50/50 if it would work with the videos. Thanks for watching
Love your “ranger” set up!
