Really great info throughout the video mate, I have had my next gen for almost 2 years now and been umming and ahhing about getting the suspension done as like you I really like the ride quality from stock, but you have convinced me its worthwhile to change the suspension! I hate putting my boat on and off the tow hitch as the sag I get is painful! Great video mate!!
Thanks mate I am glad ya got some good info from it, I am still really happy with the suspension it’s settled now and feels even better again but softer again, thanks for watching mate!
Not sure whether or not to put a lift kit in at the start or towards the end of my build. I'd like to have the height and clearance now and realistically I don't plan to tow with my rig until a few years time. My question is wait the few years time or lift it now hmm
Ranger looks mint, nicely done! What Tyre and rim combo you running (size and offset) Any rubbing with the standard bumper? Wanna do the same suspension setup 😎👊🏻
No headlight adjustments here as it’s not the wildtrack they have a headlight adjuster on the rear suspension the sport has a manual adjuster in the cab, UCAs will be coming soon but I am using the stock UCAs at the moment
Ripping rig mate, had my ranger sport same colour combo now 3 weeks and it’s been impressive standard. I’m sure you have been through this question 100 times but as I’m new to the channel your wheel and the combo I know they are assaults but sizes etc…? Did you find anything rubbed before the “lift kit” …? Great vids mate thanks for putting the time in to making videos like this 🤙🏼
Hey mate thanks for tuning in, so the rims are ROH Assaults 18x9 25 offset the tyres are Bf Goodrich 285/65/18 there was no rubbing on the factory lift but if you had a bullbar I recon it would touch as they tent to dip down on the stock suspension. It’s a great size tyre for these rigs as it corrects the speedo to!
Liftkit looks great and suits the tyres. Are you going down the engineering pathway to keep everything above board and covered with insurance? Cheers 🍻
Hey mate I didn’t really do the lift on the triton that well as I put spacers in the front which made it pretty average, the 62 was a dream to drive but the stock suspension struggled with the weight and you could feel it was struggling with compression and rebound over bumps etc but it was super comfortable. It’s a hard choice between that and the ranger but since I can tune my suspension on the ranger over the 62 I would pick that as the best now mate
Awesome set up! Definitely got me considering a LIFTKIT for my new Ranger. 2 weeks old and loving it!
Definitely worth doing mate I love my new setup!
Well shit you gave her the full treatment. Those adjustable shocks are so damn cool and a genius piece of equipment. Ranger looks big.
Definitely makes it look more beefy mate I’m bloody wrapped with how it all turned out!
Liftkit awesome setup 👍
Thanks so much mate!
She's looking Staunch!! I bet she rides silky smooth now!
Driving on clouds mate it’s so good

Bloody well put together video mate! New suspension looks ripper!!!
Thanks so much mate really appreciate the feedback! Putting more and more into these videos.
The lift really ties it together man!
Thanks mate I’m stoked with it
The previous model used to looks so good, what have Ford done to the ranger
Oh mate she looks bloody awesome with that lift in it hey 😍 looks like a good quality lift kit aswell 👌
Very good gear mate I’m wrapped with it we need a run down buffalo 😎
@4x4CampingandAdventures absolutely
Didn’t go with the same LIFTKIT, but the mod for towing I feel has been a must to get over the sag.
100000% mate they definitely need something from factory
I enjoy watching your view on the ranger. I'm looking at getting a LIFTKIT .
Do your homework with weights and you won’t go wrong mate!
I’ve never considered this brand but after your review I’m going to look into the kit great informative video
Thanks mate I appreciate the kind words. 2 months in and still loving the kit
@@4x4CampingandAdventures what’s the warranty like
@alanheather8441 two year manufacture’s warranty mate
Love the detail bro, got me excited for my new ranger on its way!
Thanks mate appreciate comments like this makes all the filming well worth it!

I normally with most cars I own wait till they are loaded up then put the lift on that way you have a real weights to work with and your not guessing.
What size wheel and tire are you running?
285/65/18 mate
Certified Western Power vehicle with that liftkit.
I got upgraded to the supervisor role 🤣🤣
@@4x4CampingandAdventures Mundaring powerline track 24/7 on the job
Ranger looks mint, nicely done! What Tyre and rim combo you running (size and offset) Any rubbing with the standard bumper? Wanna do the same suspension setup 😎👊🏻
Hey mate they are 18 inch rims ROH assaults 25 plus offset tyres are 285/65/18 they fit stock on the standard suspension with no rubbing mate
LIFTKIT. Not a bad idea.
Thanks mate!
Did you add a leaf to get a 2 inch lift in the back?
It’s just the leafs that come with the kit mate
Do you have the driveline vibration after the lift
No mate it has a centre bearing drop
Whay size wheels n tyre's are you running with the lift? Also what offset did you go for?
+25 285/65/18
Did you need to replace the upper control arms? Did you have to put a headlight adjuster bracket in? Thanks in advance
No headlight adjustments here as it’s not the wildtrack they have a headlight adjuster on the rear suspension the sport has a manual adjuster in the cab, UCAs will be coming soon but I am using the stock UCAs at the moment
Will this work on the 2024 rangers built here for the U.S market?
Sure will mate same suspension setup

Sure am mate it will be 100% road legal once we are finished with it!
@@4x4CampingandAdventures would love to see a video on what hoops and costs you have to go through there, plus any price increase on insurance
nice setup
Glad you think so!
Which LIFTKIT in your opinion had/has the best ride comfort, the mighty triton, the beast of a Y62 or the ranger?
Hey mate I didn’t really do the lift on the triton that well as I put spacers in the front which made it pretty average, the 62 was a dream to drive but the stock suspension struggled with the weight and you could feel it was struggling with compression and rebound over bumps etc but it was super comfortable. @@4x4CampingandAdventures And with the new tech and advancements in suspension coming out, it only makes sense that the ranger is the best.
What wheel size did you end up running?!
18 inch mate
The only thing of note is they reused some of the lock nuts. On suspension you should always use new lock nuts. Otherwise looks like a great kit
I will have to look over it but we used all new nuts for the install as they were provided.
Hey mate nice rig, what size tyres are they ? And do you know your total height of the car now it’s lifted to the top of the roof rack?
Hi mate,
I have not measured it but it does fit under a 2.1m car park with the tent on top
What size are your tyres to the scrub at all?
No scrub mate even with the factory suspension they are 285/65/18
That grill looks a million times better than the ugly grill that comes from the factory.
Thanks mate!
@@4x4CampingandAdventureswhere did you get that grill it looks sharp and was install quick?
Best mod is the Hilux conversion..
Drive one for a daily no thanks
