You know - I watch this and have to wonder why in the world this band is not STILL rolling with this. This is so much better than ANYTHING coming out. I would LOVE to see them again. Honestly - you cannot get this kind of music from anyone - just two raw guitars and non-screamo. Great live energy that was actually originally captured on their albums...
Saw em in 95 at The Lost Horizon in Syracuse with Helmet and Orange 9mm..BEST show I ever saw!!!
Jerome Del Soldato what a lineup man! Wish the good old days of straight jamming were still here!
Oh man... the lost horizon. Those Sunday hardcore matinees were legend.
lol wow. i was there too.
Saw this tour as well, except with SOIA instead of Helmet.
Wow amazing show!
The Interaction between Walter and the dude at 8:45 always puts a smile on my face :~}
Slip is one of the greatest rock records I've heard in my lifetime. I'm happy that a lot of the dates on their current tour are selling out. They deserve it. Just amazing.
i get chills when they start up fazer. all time favorite song.
How did this band not get more exposure than they did?? I've been listening to this band since the 90's and their music still hits just as hard as it did back then!
Walter is a great song writer. Check out his Rival Schools stuff too!
Sergio is one of the coolest dudes then and now...
Great bassist. God knows how he puts up with Steph in Deftones
Awww!! Just here reminiscing!! These guys never disappoint. I’ve seen them in nyc since the really early days, we were all so young. I missed them in BK recently but saw the footage. STILL amazing! ❤❤❤
The fact that everyone is singing along.... tells you everything you need to know about how awesome this band is
I saw Quicksand four times. They opened up for Rage Against The Machine in late 1993. I saw them on the Warped Tour and later in 1995. I also saw them open up for the Deftones in 1998. These guys tear it up when they take the stage. Great act, hoping they hit the road in 2016.
+Trews Detroit Hell yes! I saw them with Helmet and they stole the show! Top 5 fav bands...\m/
Awesome seeing them with Deftones. One of my favorite bands. Deftones always bring awesome bands with them on tour.
I remember a Quicksand/Deftones gig at Roseland in NYC around 98. Good memories.
@@deepfocus888 was Snapcase there to? They played with Deftones and Quicksand when I saw them that year. Great night that was.
@@courtneyf7909 I've seen Snapcase a few times from that era but I don't think they were at the Roseland gig.
Loving it! Thanks for the upload!
Legends that will live on for years to come. Felt like I was there in the crowd getting to watch this. Thanks to Revelation for putting this on, filming and uploading.
one of a kind! Exciting live set of this classic band! They go beyond their boundaries, went far with that amazing Slip album!
thanks for this video!
Great camera and sound. Does the greatest band of the '90s justice. And they do themselves justice with that kickass performance.
I had both CDs and always loved these guys.
Sergio & Walter are such good guys. Been following Walter since GB and love Rival Schools. This is such a treat.
Same! Those were amazing days.
great show seen them twice on both of there full lenght album back in the day! they are very powerful live and full of energy!
I never ever get sick of this set🔥💥👊🏽
You guys are one of the best Heavy Rock Acts in musical History!!!
This band is responsible for making one of the most amazing albums ever.
I wish all concerts on RUclips had such good sound
nice job on this video -- Quicksand was a fun band to see live back in the day
I went to their show 15years ago.
It was soooo great!!!
I just saw them in Boston last month on the 30th anniversary of SLIP. Those guys (minus Tom Capone) were still firing on all cylinders! Stephen Brodsky filling in for Tom was extra cool being that he's from my state of Massachusetts.....Hometown hero killing it with the guys from Quicksand
Nice, dynamic mix, and Quicksand is so good!
35, 744 of the music elite, gathered together, to share a great secret.
awesome band, awesome set.. pure 90's sound.

STILL ARE - THEY'RE BACK!
I went to community college with Tom Capone. Real cool cat. Got to jam with him too
Saw them in Boston in the fall of 1990. and so many times after that. Without Tom, they're just not the same.
ahhhh...the songs of my youth. :)
Excelente Bandaaa!
Amazing opening with Omission!
How the fuck did I miss this?

One of the best bands of the 90's.

They opened for White Zombie in San Diego. Never heard them before that concert. Was blown away.

Please Please Please Come Back.
Still don't understand how these guys never became one of the biggest bands in the world!
That first album tho Every song is an epic hit!!!!
these boys show you how to ROCK!
❤❤❤❤
sweet
FUCKINNGGGG ROOOOCKS AND THIS IS FUCKING RAW AF
I have the self titled with the screaming head on it on seven inch and slip from them. Don't know what happened to the other albums I had by them. I bought slip not long after it came out. It was on my consistent rotation of music for all those years. If i can find my cd it would be again. Love them till no end.
this is so awesome... ( lol at helmet cam penguin at 10:41 hahahha
it is a family, walter, everyone who connects with this music is family
Holy biceps! The intro is Anvil of Crom from the Conan the Barbarian soundtrack. Anyone know if they used this regularly? They definitely did not on the Slip tour in Stockholm, Sweden (93?)
I wish I had been there
fuck yes.
2019 in so many bands are doing reunions I seen Earth Crisis . Sick of it all snap case . Choke hold Pelican. Instead. I wish these guys who play again
off to listen to shift pathos to continue revisiting my youth.
one of hard rocks finer moments !!!
what year is it NOW? Quicksand sounds is always shedding my skin....
WALTER!!!
woooooooo....a suberb combination of energy discarded for us(sorry 4myenglish)
3:50 amazing
I am usually into thrashmetal, but this is really good.Complements.....
4:59 I like that dance lol
Got to know this band thru my girlfriend who's very tight with one of the band members, I have to say they're really not my cup of tea, BUT, seeing them live is always a pleasure!! They're fucking pro's!! These guys always put on a great show! There's not to many bands I can say about these days!!!
They rock harder than most middle aged dudes!
***** I'm 32 and was complimenting them, Einstein.
vern rules!
Tool and Quicksand are different.Trust this.
i feel for you first last ...
Yeah, Quicksand doesn't have an annoying bass sound at the front of the music.
Tool are shit
walter rocking the telcaster!!
I call for....a new album.
Rhett Brown at RetroWreck guess what? Lol!
Ray cappo was actually one of the first people start this label does he still have any say in it. Or has he just sold his stake and do yoga completely
These fans are nuts. I like it. But scary with corded guitars.
Anyone know the setlist?
tbh I never really thought of Voldemort as Les Paul kind of guy but I guess you learn something new everyday.
The dude with the red shirt and white shorts stage diving is "that guy" for the night. he doesn't know when to quit.
What's wrong with stage diving?
Ce concert là aurait du être de lumière bleu foncé de ver luisants blancs et de quelques flaches blancs surprenants et bien sûr le son avec un expanceur de basse de profondeur absolue,et sa y’allais à être connu dans le monde entier peut-être ?
Advert comes in mid song ffsake
conan soundtrack.... dum da da dum!
“That’s how it feels when you hear the sound of disappointment”
