They never ever changed to the trends of new metal, or other stuff from the '90, the stayed the same and now you can see how many bands are imitating them, but 30 years later, because it took a lot to understand them.

They did a retro songs themed tour in 2014 including songs from Contradictions Collapse and None EP and it was stated by the band that they were never going to play those songs again after that tour

I love when the camera rolls out to the crowd at the end of the set and the look on all their faces was priceless. Jaws all dropped in awe and confusion at the same time. People weren't ready for Meshuggah but so captivating and far ahead of the game creatively in modern metal. Meshuggah will always be my favorite band of all time ❤
