*Would Tony Soprano flip if he was facing time?*
ruclips.net/video/YPUjMmkAYko/видео.htmlsi=xgYg5HjEBPnSxAUQ
Oh for sure I definitely believe he would and others knew it too which is probably why he got popped at the end cuz he was about to be indicted
Put him on the prison diet and he'd flip after a week. Or he'd flip once he saw how much a major court case would cost him in lawyer fees.
You're talking about him like he's some kind of mamma's boy
@@_Too_Late Nah couldn't be 😝

i love junior's smirk in the chinese whispers scene, like he doesn't believe a word of it and is just fanning the flames to cause mischief
That's so Junior. 😂 He's an amazing character.
lol that's a great interpretation, on a side note, Silvio almost sounded proud of Tony
I liked it when junior would say go shit in your hat.
Junior was one of my favourite character. His decline at the end was so sad.
He always hated Christopher and the movie shows us why

You need to do an episode breakdown on every episode. It could be a podcast format or something. I love your content.
I know that Pure Kino (another major sopranos RUclipsr) has a breakdown of every episode in a manner similar to this.
Or else just watch the show
You know, it wasn’t long ago I remember you used to wait in the car.👺🚬
True.❤
@@ScooteroBut it ain’t the same. His are just a episode summary with npc opinions everyone has.
"Mr. Type-A personality" is my favorite comment

One of the greatest scenes of acting was Carmela & Tony “Been in love with Furio” scene.
True dat
Absolutely
Very true, one of the worst scenes (yet also funny) was when Furio announced to everyone within a mile radius that Tony Soprano is here, right there sat at a table discussing business with a group of other Mafia members and that his car is parked a distance away!

I always loved that scene with that look on Pauline’s face like shut up kid I’m trying to save your life but also such sadness because he knows it probably won’t work
Great combination of “you poor fuck, please keep your mouth shut”, “fine, have it your way”, and “that’s not how I meant it kid cmon”

I'd like to see a breakdown of the scene on the boat between Tony and Paulie in Season 6's "Remember When".
gaslight gatekeep girlboss - tony soprano
A cat ran in front of them, Tony compromised, so he flipped the car instead.
Chris was a loose cannon and an addict so he obviously couldn’t be trusted.
But I feel that if Paulie and Patsy did conspire to kill Tony as there is overwhelming evidence to suggest.. THIS would be the time to start the conversation with Chris.
Chrissy was kind of a mess, but I thought he showed more loyalty to Tony and the family when he gave up Adriana. No other character went so far to prove he could be trusted..
I’d love to see you talk about Tony, Chris, and that animal Blundetto chatting at Uncle Pat’s farm. Chris being excluded because of his sobriety and trying to stay tough, followed by him crying in the car always hits hard for me
"Sickeningly, he throws food at Vito. Which was wrong" lol
I would like to analyse the scene when Christopher is talking to paulie about her daughter at the bing and paulie making weird "jokes"
Whitecap scene where carmella initially confronts Tony and Tony tries and fails to disarm the situation
No gonna lie. If I knew my boi went all the fuck out of the way to get a burger with my fiancé, I would be so godamn salty and bitter. I would probably never feel the same way again.
I'd feel the same way but I'd also start fantasizing about how good Dover burgers are
Wasn't Vito's comeback ,"hey I'm a captain now" LOL
This is an excellent video and topic!
Looking forward to this series, I like rewatching scenes but doing so with analysis makes it better
Pointing out that Tony is a serial philanderer isn't an _ad hominem,_ it is bringing up an extremely relevant character trait showing a clear pattern of behaviour which supports Chris's suspicions.
its impossible to see anything about the sopranos without a million "clever" insertions of the fucking script.

Great idea for a series of vids and this was a great breakdown of this scene
Great analysis
I like Christopher aggressive behavior towards tony sometimes
Its hilarious
He wasn’t even a made guy… for Tony to allow him to disrespect him like that in front of everybody? It just shows how weak of a Leader he was… that’s why none of the NY guys respected him and just used him whenever they wanted.

That singer, Teddy Pendergrass got paralyzed by having a special type of lady giving him* a special to of job while driving.
Quasimodo predicted all this.🎉🎉🎉
How about if Tony never betrayed Uncle June?! Since he was going to the King of Jersey by either Junior putting him in charge or him just taking the Title… since Junior was facing Rico charges for the rest of his life! Tony either would inherit Juniors crew with his blessings or they would just fall in line… with Tony two crews, giving him more Power and harder to touch by any NY family? Let’s be real, Juniors crew is 100x better than Tony’s… do u really want to rely on Christopher,Pauly and Big Puss? The writing is already on the wall, and ur were Dommed from the beginning! 😂
“I’m in awe of him…” 🤣
The point of argument is not to destroy or humiliate your opponent. It’s supposed to be an earnest attempt to arrive as close you can get to objective truth. After that, you’re getting into the territory of things dumb people think sound smart
Easy. Surround the argument about yourself personally an ad some moralistic justification. Just like "I'm the boy's uncle!" while talking about Harpo just to provoke Janice. Most characters do it.
Great idea for a series. Do the scene you spoke on. With he Chris and Paulie
Analysis : more uncle junior please. He’s my fav (after tony)
Calling Tony’s use of gaslighting and sophistry “masterful” is like talking about Barry Bond’s masterful use of steroids from Balco
you gotta exercise impulse control
He wins argument or you get wacked!
I like this video idea, looking forward to more.
In many saints of newark, why does no one talk about the incest between Tony and his mom?

Masterclass in building an antisocial personality disorder character. Tony represents that minority well.

Tony, with his insults, is more creative than Spielberg.
Just shows how evil Tony truly was, he was willing to throw Carmela and the family away, and start again with Adriana, and a few episodes later sends her to her death without thinking twice.

I wonder what you think about Livia? One of the better scenes is when Tony runs away from her, falls and his gun falls out. For me, she is the sickest character in the story. Pure evil.
Yes, Livia is pure manipulative psychopath, a pure evil😳☹ that is one of the main reason I feel empathy with Tony, she was horrible to him
Tony is pure evil. Like did you watch season 6?
It's funny that most people won't acknowledge that Livia and Tony are the two most similar characters in the entire series. Tony parrots her word for word over and over without realizing and often behaves exactly like her. They had such a toxic relationship because both of them idealized Johnny Boy and displaced their anger and resentment towards to him completely onto the other. They both had they're opportunities to break the cycle when Johnny Boy was alive and they didn't take it, just like every character in the Sopranos that choose misery instead of self improvement
@@natedogg890 ,
Both Johhny and Livia are deeply disturbed people. The two of them take credit for the fact that their children are deeply disturbed. But a mother who plans the execution of her own son with his uncle is more than disturbing, if we consider that it is the Coza Nostra and mothers who care for their children, especially boys. In general, that world is not normal. Dave Chase did a great job describing them.
4:15 it was definitely the latter; Chris took it as an ego hit as Paulie was suggesting Chris never intended -- or could bring himself -- to shoot Tony.
Actually one of the rare times Paulie shows something resembling compassion, I think he said it to defuse the situation as he doesn't want Chris to get hurt, rather than directly trying to knock Chris's ego.
i believe chris kinda took it as a gun-as-phallus analogy, like paulie was insinuating his peeshadeel don't work
@@lb5818fuckin’ walt whitman over here
I always took it as Paulie trying to get him killed, I never thought about the implication
@@tomz5704 If he wanted to get him killed he would have said something alluding to him trying to take out Tony, of something like "he'll just do it again".

Must be analyzed scenes🙏:
1. Tony and Ralph decideing Jackie Jr fate, briliant scene where both of them try to wash their hands of soon-to-be-spilled blood of Jackie Jr.
2. Gloria Trillo's break up, her psyche and resemblece of Livia.
3. Johnny Sack entering the room with a scared look on his face, after the hit put on his life by Carmine Sr/Tony and the simultaneous canceled hit of his own on Ralph... Its something left unsaid and unseen in the show... did Johnny Sack knew something?
P.S. These analyses are gold.
Great point with Tony purposefully humiliating Chris by saying “average at best”
The scene the sit down with Paulie and Ralphie..some all time great lines by Ralph and power dynamics…what a schnuck Paulie could be

I always thought it would be interesting for Michael Franzese to do an analysis of this episode. If people thought the Boss had gotten with a Soldiers fiancé, how would that be handled by the real Mob?
That constipated 🦉 owl…..He reminds me of peoples feet .
The only thing i have to say about this situation is, we got the 5 fuckin families, then we got this other pygmy thing over in Jersey!
You should do the scene from “everybody hurts” where Tony visits Artie in the hospital. Super underrated scene where Tony’s mask slips and you get a lot of subtle examples of his true nature that are easy to miss on the first watch
Christopher never had the makings of a varsity athlete.
Adriana is a 4... NOT a 10!!
