He is a foreign actor interfering with the Intelligence service of the biggest superpower of the planet.
If is not severely punished, it incentivizes others to do the same from their houses in hundreds of countries because no retaliation will occur.
The risk of having Intelligence leaks that could affect sensitive operations increases if is not dealt with in a way that inhibits that happens again.
It is more important to protect the system than the truth, because the system keeps people alive, and it never tells the truth anyway, just an agreed narrative that is convenient. People will never deal with the truth

First quote, sure, not the smartest because doing something what is "evil" is not the same as not being involved in such activities and both are different than acceptance of whatever comes your way. What I wrote, is a quote, let's agree that is famous but has a different meaning than the first one, describes a simple fact, draws attention to the need of taking action, and does not accuse anyone of anything. I'm not agreeing with the author of first comment and if you're thinking that it's the case... well, maybe you were tired or maybe you don't understand english well enough. Zawsze mogę wytłumaczyć różnicę w języku polskim. And to mention what you wrote... "don't be a sheep"... how old are you? 12? Maybe I was using somewhat popular quote but what are you doing? Using very popular lately on sm expression... Ofcourse that everybody should think for him / herself but every adult does it, it's life. It's not about that, the problem is something different than you think. People are thinking for them self but we are segregated in our opinions and to many of as fell in to apathy not because of lack of thinking but in many cases because of overthinking.
And I'm done. I used this quote because I believed that people would understand and I will not have to explain everything like to a little children's but it went like always....

An Australian journalist exposes American war crimes and the Australian government (on both sides of the political landscape) does absolutely nothing.
That is the real embarrassment here.
Assange should of been brought home and had his case heard in an Australian court and if found guilty sentenced to an Australian prison.
He would of been out by now if he was found guilty.
The spinelessness shown by the Australian government in not backing one of our own citizens has been disgraceful.
Whether wikileaks did the right or wrong thing, an Australian citizen, should be afforded Australian consulate support and returned to Australia to face any pending charges.
Moving closer to internet dad's point, if they won't back someone for exposing the truth, how are they going to react to someone exposing their lies?
It's moving toward a dangerous situation where speaking the truth may end up being considered illegal, an act of defiance or outright rebellion.

Cajoling Jew-Haters Does Not Abate Antisemitism
Earlier this week, I wrote about the new report by the policy planning think tank Jewish People Policy Institute (JPPI) that revealed the depth of antisemitism on the Left and how dangerous it is. In that post, I intentionally left out the most troubling part of the report, which it defined as “Jewish communal disunity.” Our worst enemy is not this or that person who hates Jews; our worst enemy is our own hatred for each other.
According to the report, much of the Jewish establishment urged the Biden administration to make ‎‎the adoption of the IHRA definition of antisemitism a national priority, in line with most western countries and the official policy of the UN. However, while this was happening, “key progressive Jewish ‎groups lobbied the administration against its adoption.” Moreover, “Jewish anti-Zionists play ‎increasingly prominent roles in left-wing policy and discourse arenas.”
During the Spanish Inquisition, our worst detractors and persecutors were former Jews. In the 1930s, there were German Jews and Jewish organizations that joined the Third Reich and fully endorsed its racist ideology and policy against Jews. There have always been Jews who joined Jew-haters, thinking that by doing so, they will save their skins. It has always made things worse for the Jews, much worse.
In fact, the majority of arguments that antisemites use against Jews come to them from self-hating Jews. They provide Jew-haters with ammunition in the form of arguments against Jews, advise them how to use it against Jews effectively, and chant along with them their venomous slogans. Self-hating Jews portray Jew-haters as victims in order to justify their antisemitism and their violence against Jews.
Hoping to win the hearts of our enemies, antisemitic Jews become more sinister and malicious toward Jews than any non-Jew antisemite could ever be. Gentile antisemites feel a visceral anger toward us. Jewish antisemites make hating Jews an ideological issue, and ideologies are those responsible for genocides, not gut hatred.
I can understand the hatred of some Jews for their own people. It is not easy being born into a group that is always held responsible for everything that is wrong with the world. However, joining the ranks of the detractors does not relieve us from our duty. On the contrary, it only deepens the haters’ loathing and makes them more aggressive.
The only cure to Jew-hatred is for Jews to care for one another. The gut feeling of antisemites that the Jews are responsible for the problems in the world is correct, but self-hatred among Jews does not save the haters, it exacerbates the hatred of non-Jews. The “fault” of the Jews is not that they are harming the world on purpose, but that they are divided, contrary to their mission-to be a model of unity.
There is a reason why our Hebrew ancestors conceived such sublime notions as mutual responsibility, charity, mercy, and loving others as ourselves. They not only envisioned these ideas, they also tried to live them out. When they succeeded, our nation thrived; when they failed, our nation suffered.
Possibly the worst antisemite in American history, Henry Ford, inserted many phrases in his antisemitic compilation, The International Jew: The World’s Foremost Problem, which seem to contradict his anti-Jewish narrative. Among them is this intriguing statement: ‎“Modern reformers, who are constructing model social systems, ... would do ‎well to look into the social system under which the early Jews were organized.”
We, too, must return to our roots, to the ideology that had fashioned us into a nation. We must strive to love each other above all our differences and all the hatred that may surface between us. Only when we unite are we a model nation. Therefore, only when we unite does the world embrace us.
Any division among us, for whatever reason, aggravates antisemitism because division among us contradicts the calling and mission of our people. The gut feeling that antisemites feel will change from hate to love no sooner than when we rise above our division and unite despite our mutual abhorrence.

    • @peterleversha9651
      @peterleversha9651 Год назад +1

Thank you for your post, I found it very intriguing!
I know nothing about the Jewish history other than Hitler hated you for both the capitalist and socialist virtues of both opposing sides of the culture (please correct me if I have this wrong).
As a complete outsider, I wish to know how the conflict with the Palestinians could be resolved.
Would it not be beneficial to everyone, if you all could just put aside your differences, forgive the bloodshed of the past and find a way to learn to share?
If the Jewish people could resolve this conflict so that both sides could find peace and embrace each other, I think it would serve as a great beacon of hope for the world.
I ask again that you forgive my ignorance as like I said, this whole conversation is from a layman who knows very little of the history and is not taking either side.
I just want my fellow man to live in peace and harmony.
It can't happen without difficult conversation.

So his situation does not seem different than any other criminal or innocent accused person other than he gets some "pride" I guess in knowning he avoided going to trial. All these years, were they really not able to ship him off to some country where he could of lived a normal life?

I'd get electric shocks through my brain, stress after having my daughter, (1st) time. I made my kids leave, I, straight from my heart, with no employment, swimming, etc., can't wait to get out of this walking sewage systems, we come alone, go alone, I know where and what is next, beautiful, joy, happiness I watch my 2nd J.P. would have no advice that could have a positive way in my future, lol if I don't wake up tomorrow -see ya!! I view J.P. no.2, with the feeling he could almost solve 94% of the human need or want to get better. Kindly too, truthfully, motivation excites me, to the point where I'd take the grand mal seizure, so I see me be jealous. Keep 'er lit guys

You know that there are people who are not afraid to stand up for the truth and what they believe is right no matter what the consequences are. Death torture they don't care.
This is true for religious and atheist people alike.
Some people are strong enough to deal with it.
Maybe if he was tortured in Guintanamo for a while. Most strong people Crack fron Guintanamo and cia interrogation.

Julian Assange deserves whatever he gets - he is the one responsible for whatever happens to him.
He kept himself cooped up in the embassy for years rather than face trial in Sweden. He is choosing to fight the extradition to the US.
