Here is something the video didn't tell you..
Battled fatigue my entire life. Even though I am near peak fitness, sleep regularly, limit screen time, watch my diet, and don't do drugs. Not even alcohol. Felt like I needed a nap throughout the day my entire life...Now I sleep 4-6 hrs and run like a machine. It took me 38 years to figure it out..take it or leave it.
    1. Walk barefoot. Studies prove it. You are fatigued because you lack ENERGY. We are electric beings and the earth has a grounded charge. We evolved this way. It is vital we connect. To every cell in your body. Minimum 15 minutes a day, but longer the better. Sand, dirt, rock, cement are best. No asphalt, not sure about grass. More conductivity when wet. The effects are immediate but you likely won't "feel" it until the following morning. Keep at it a few days and you'll never turn back. Energy like a kid again. No shit.
    2. Sun. Even better while grounded. Get some color.
    3. Never eat past 6 pm. Very lightly if you must.
    4. Meditate daily. Find the time. Everything about you improves with a relaxed mind.
    5. Breathework before bed. 5 minutes is enough. I do 3 rounds of "breathe of fire"
    6. Remove sugar almost completely from your diet. Sugar is a drug and you are likely a junkie. It won't be easy. After you push through withdrawal (yes) which may take 2 weeks to a month the "false"energy you received from sugar will be replaced by "golden" energy. Like when you were a kid. You won't want to go back. Although, cravings will still rear up..have fruit ready.
    7. Limit EMF exposure. Grounding combats this very effectively. NEVER sleep with a cell in your room. Absolutely no Bluetooth headphones. Less time around electronics the better. Get outside.
    8. Fasting. Late breakfast early supper. Most yogis eat once a day and live to 100 with high energy. Every so often mix in a legit fast. I like 24- 36 hours. Past that I lose muscle but everyone is different.
I hope someone reads this and it helps them

Real good advice you just gave. I like to do grounding in my garden on stone flags while getting some sunshine at the same time in summertime makes you feel energised, I also fast 12-14hrs every night which really keeps the body fat down and the energy up, I've never tried a longer fast than that but I am considering it. Also I don't eat anything that is made by man, if you eat like this you won't get low energy.

    • @steveguse4481
      @steveguse4481 2 года назад +92

@@JudithSantana-p9l I've experimented with many different diets. The specifics of what you eat is largely overrated and likely varies person to person. Listen to your body. Study how you feel.
Most important by far is how much you eat and when. Never go to bed full.. stop constantly sipping water..too much comfort zone will kill you, you didn't evolve that way. Eat less, eat simpler, and mix in serious fasting every so often. It's like a reset for your entire system. Brain, gut, energy, immunity.. Practically no sugar. Not even honey. That's the tough one. Also bone broth now and then. Your local butcher will have the bones. Just boil them for 48 hours and add a little beef base for flavor. Get some jars and freeze it for later it won't hurt it. Kobe Bryant said it was the #1 diet secret for his ability to heal and maintain his body. Also something that makes sense from a paleo evolution sense...good luck

I spent years in an abusive relationship. I was always exhausted. Recently I met a man who was a little over a year a widow from a years long unfulfilling relationship. Neither one of us slept more than four hours a night. We were up and down, read, watched tv, whatever. When we got together and got to the point of having sleep overs, his house, my house, we noticed that our sleep became much deeper and we slept longer. Finally, he said, just always sleep at my house. That was almost three months ago and now we are both sleeping a full, constant 8 hours of deep sleep every night. We are both calmer, happier, quicker to laugh. I can see it in his face, he looks less stressed, younger. He tells me I look beautiful when I’m happy. We are 57 years old.

What makes you tired is doing something stressful every day-something you don’t want to do: Facing an overbearing boss at work or a difficult family member or an avalanche of rude customers. Even if you compartmentalize it and deal with it well at the time, later on your body and mind will scream, “Please don’t make me do this” on a daily basis. Then when it’s over, your mind pleads, “Let me rest now.” Persistent stress, however well managed at the time, has a cumulative effect. Eventually you are in a constant state of unwillingness, which manifests as, “Go away world; I’m tired.” What you eat, whether you exercise, how much you sleep: These things are actually secondary causes of feeling tired all the time. The root of it all, the primary factor, is mental and emotional, not physical.

    • @jeanaallison7236

I disagree with what you said at the end. What you eat, how much you sleep and exercise will strongly impact the stress you experience and how you physically respond to stress. Don’t for a second think it can be brushed off as secondary. Having a strong, recovered, well rested body prepares you significantly for the endurance of daily stress which should be expected as a person with responsibilities. It is a cycle. Control the factors that you can control. Eat healthy, exercise, and get your sleep. These are within your control more so than other external stressors and will make a big difference.

Don't forget to factor in poor soil conditions. Our soils are stripped of natural nutrients. Farmers who last year planted corn, do not this year plant barley, or after so many years plant a cover crop and let the land rest. We never let the land rest anymore and spray on our nutrient deficiencies to get food to look good. It's like a 'spray tan' but with no vitamin D.

It is very interesting you mention letting the land rest. When I was little, my granddad explained to me how every 2 or 4 years (cant remember clearly, i will ask my mum) the land needs to rest and that meant no crop planting. They would plant something similar looking to the cloves because it breathes nutrients into the soil. I have very fond and dear memories of helping him collecting potatoes, onions, corn ... and also fishing! I lived in a busy city, made sure i was good with my studies to confidently fly to my grandparents' for the summer knowing it would be exciting, refreshing and super healthy for the soul, mind, heart and body!! I just asked dad and it is every 7th year, they plant cloves because feeds the soil with nitrogen for a full year.
Cloves are also great food for the cows and milk quality and as it grows so fast, cows would be given it when over grown that way they'd also be nourished.
I thought it was very interesting how the land rests in the 7th year... God rested on the 7th day, He created everything and ourselves... provided us with natural food and yet mankind (not so kind) exploits it, as a result no wonder the FATIGUE) less nutrients, more illnesses, hence need for synthetic vits and mins (in best case scenario)... who is at a loss?? All of us! because even those whom make money out of it all... they too die and wont take any of it with them AND would have left behind a legacy of illness, selfishness, lies, etc... so... food for thought. For those struggling, try to set smaller goals. Just one step at a time. Make a list of what you would like to accomplish tomorrow, the week and working out just start small as well. Start with a walk with some stretches, literally 5 minutes a day, if you can do a little more great. Start to think before doing anything, like a walk, think of what am going to wear? And make a thoughtful decision for every step. Take the time to think what would I need to do in order to accomplish MY goal. Each goal at a time. That's the truth. Let's help each other be better collectively. We need to stop being a receiver and start being a giver to both yourself and those around you. Just one day! I'll start doing this today is all, along with repetition and I promise you, you will see changes to not only your physical health but mental health. That will open doors because of your ability to think becomes clearer then where you are. I hope this helps anyone. Good luck and don't worry about time, be in the moment.

No fast food in at least 2 years. Results? At 6'2" I started at 286lbs (obese). I am now a solid 220lbs. Lost 9 inches off my waist, as well as having put on 10lbs of muscle. Without hunger. No gym membership. I sold my car and bought a bicycle. I am 60, and am in better shape than most 30 year old's. More strength, greater endurance, with a naturally higher testosterone level. (tested). No hormone injections, or any additives at all. Only healthy food. I am still getting trimmer month by month, without losing muscle. Libido? Well, I don't want to be called toxic. 😁 If you asked me, during the 23 years that I walked around obese, to make those changes, I would have fought tooth and nail against them. Now, I wish I had a time machine to go back and change things earlier! Plain truth? It is harder to live obese and unhealthy, than it is to live healthy. I'm 71. 18 months ago I weighed 205 (I'm 5'9"). Always tired, ate too much bad stuff. I put myself on a plan I designed. 11 a.m.: 2 eggs, 1 p.m: one cup of cantaloupe, berries, red grapes, 3 p.m. lunch salad plus a protein like tuna, BBQ chicken, etc. 5 p.m. dark chocolate with some kind of nuts, 7 p.m. dinner w/a couple servings of green/orange veggies and a protein. No dairy, no whole grains, beans or legumes other than peanuts, no alcohol. Bed at 10:30. Walk 2-3 miles 7 days a week. Work 5 hours a day. Today I weigh 159 pounds. I wake up between 6 and 7 naturally, have no fatigue except for the pleasant tiredness, well-earned, shortly before bed. Also, in any given week, I choose to eat some sweets like a brownie or a piece of cake, candy like M&Ms or Jolly Ranchers, or I have a hot dog or some fried chicken strips and French fries and about twice a month drink a 7 oz soda. All of the junk is carefully portioned and is a necessary part of my eating plan. If I said "no more sweets", that would not be sustainable for me. My cholesterol has also gone from 205 to 152 and I feel great.

Doing this (fasting) and after hearing Franco Columbo’s recollections of how some silver and golden bodybuilders ate made it click in me. He said they ate nothing but high fat and protein meals 6 days a week and splurged on Sunday. He would incorporate high fiber vegetables, too. Their bodies would learn how to utilize their insulin more efficiently by doing this. I have one huge and diverse bowl of salad and veggies with 5-6 eggs/groundbeef/fish and all the Ranch or Italian dressing I want. It comes out to about 1200-1800 cal depending on my mood, and I finish it within the span of a coulle of hours. Ill throw in a 1-2 day fast or a one day anything I want day every two weeks here and there. Ive easily lost 25 lbs (im 5’4’’ mesomorph male that was at 170lbs) in 2.5 months. I went through the sugar/ processed food heebeejeebees for about 2 weeks, but if I eat that meal on time, I have 0% temptation around junk. My sleep went from 1-2 naps and 8 hour sleeps to 6 hours and up and hyper af. My concentration levels are through the roof for reading and self growth. Im off of bp medicine and sleep apnea is gone. My second covid recovery was much faster, not only because of my previous antibodies, but also because my high infflamation markers, insulin and hypertension were way lowered.

I started intermittent fasting a couple years ago, and for the most part, I just naturally do it everyday now. My problem isn't always feeling hungry or gaining too much weight, however, I now have the opposite problem. I'm only hungry once or twice a day, but in that window, I eat very satiating foods with a lot of fat and protein, and a little unprocessed carbs. Because I feel satiated so easily with the food I eat, I find it hard to eat enough. I feel better than I did eating 3 meals a day with processed carbs with each meal, but I'm always losing weight. I've been underweight my entire adult life. When I was at my most "normal" weight, it was all water weight and belly fat and I felt awful.
I have a very hard time building muscle, and I work out and actually go to a personal trainer twice a week to make sure I'm on point with my workouts. I get stronger, but never get bigger. I consume as much protein as my appetite will allow. However, all this only seems to cause me to slowly lose more weight when I'm already on the cusp of being underweight (I'm currently 148lbs and I'm 6'2). It's hard to balance wanting to feel good, mentally and physically, with feeling like I'm slowly withering away. Although the weight I lose seems to all be body fat, or water storage, I can't seem to gain the muscle to replace the weight I lose. Most people watching videos like this seem to want to lose weight. Any tips for, not just maintaining weight, but gaining it while eating this way?

    • @hadassah6085
      @hadassah6085 2 года назад

Perhaps see a professional - but if it were me, I’d be eating even though I don’t feel like it (as in choosing nutrition over feelings, since you’re wanting to add weight.) I believe this is what body builders do - in their bulking phases (many also use steroids, which carry too many risks - so don’t do that) but there are things they do on their bulking phases to add more calories in and they just eat, even though they don’t feel like it.
Because you’re so tall - it’s always harder for tall people. There may be some things you are doing that suppress appetite too - so look into that - things like drinking coffee, or there may be something else..

Most of the time i was even uninterested in lunch, rather took my time to socialize, smoke (I know, i know...hush) by the time supper hit and i got home i was actually hungry and ate well but not enough to gorge myself and always had a spike of energy around an hour after.
FF to Feb 2019 i was way overweight, menopausal and weighed 206; i immediately started the KETO way of eating and by sept of 2019 i was down to 138 lbs. It reset my whole system with little to no exercise aside from gardening.
Never ate bread again....picked up eating potatoes, corn and the occasional ice cream and other things not on the keto plan for 3 years......i've only gained back 20 and i am on my way to losing that. God told us to eat vegetables and natural foods ( unadulterated by processing and chemical additives). Educate yourself about what you put in your body. The default all around you is loads of poison! You have to take controll over what goes IN. Just like God tells us to have self-control over our minds, your body is a gift to be cherished via self-control. Change your brain-chemistry by the foods you eat!! EXPECT pushback from your mind while detoxing from poison!! Food is medicine and healing- it turns on/off genes. You want good, cancer-fighting genes to stay ON, by eating the foods that talk to these genes!!:
Meats from animals not tortured ( =high in stress hormones) and fed original diets. Beef only from grass-fed cows! Chicken from pasture-raised organic hens. Pasture raised eggs. Fish: smaller kinds and WILD caught- NOT FARMRAISED!
Vegetables: if you eat the skin get them organic. Same with fruit. Limit fruits b/c of high fructose content ( 1x/day). All non-organic and GMO produced foods are grown with pesticides, which end up in your colon and destroy the good bakteria, that help you digest your food properly. Over time your colon wears out from the pesicide influence and will get sluggish ( can lead to gastroparesis, end- stage of a disease stemming from processed foods, lack of vegetables ( fiber) and consumption of harmful chemicals). Understand the difference between Good and (very) Bad fats. Good fats: grass-fed butter, coconut oil, extra-virgin olive oil, First Cold Press in dark GLASS bottle, organic ( most other ones are stretched with other oils). BAD, inflammation-causing oils: ex. Margarine, Vegetable oil, canola oil, safflower oil and otheres; fats from grain-fed cattle. These harmful oils/fats are very common in cookies, baked foods, and mayonnaise, as well as restaurant food.
DO NOT EAT WHEAT regularly and limit other ( bad) carbs. Reduce bad carbs ( processed flour products, pasta, crackers, bagles, breads, baked goods) to special occasions. Eat potatoes cooled off. Research: yes, there is flourless bread. READ & watch:
Wheat Belly by William Davis; it will rock your taste buds!
You Tube: Dr. Berg is awesome!! Know all keto principals and apply them regularly. The main point is to get your insulin-response down by limiting carbs from starch, increase carbs from greens and consume more ( good) fats and good protein. This will reset your cravings.
      Dr. Mark Hyman ( books).
Practice intermitten fasting! 15-18 hours a day, two meals, no eating at least 4-5 hours before bed. Take a 30 min walk every day. Do some moderate strength training 5x week, altering muscle groups.
Applying all the above, I'm in better shape than in my highschool years, (weigh 12 lbs less, in mid-50ies, size 4).
Dial yourself in, step by step over a period of 1 month. Eliminate 1 bad habit, replace with 1 good habit. It works if you start with anything above. Blessings:)

To add on to our hunter-gathering days, as mentioned we rarely had the opportunity to feast so we would eat everything we could when we had the chance. One type of food in particular would present itself on rare occasions; ripe fruits. When humans would come across a tree with ripe fruits they would feast like never before because you just had to be there at the right place and time to get to eat such delicious carbs. The thing is, DNA doesn't forget so we still compulse over carbs - the problem being that nowadays they are refined, hence unhealthy. So why do you think we go through our whole McDonald's order and still make it go down with an xlarge soft drink? DNA just doesn't forget ;) - PS ; read that in a great book called Sapiens

It’s been amazing for me this past year. I was 180-185, started a new job the first week of this year and as of this morning I’m at 133. I must mention that I have always been very active in action sports since age 5, I’m 37 now. Training very hard in BMX Racing from 5-16. Then transferred to other action sports and continued. But I not only got more active by starting a more physically demanding job, but I work in a produce department of my local grocery store. So I went from eating two meals a day of whatever I wanted to lunch being a “snack”, usually light like a fruit cup or a protein plate (single serving of grilled chicken breast, Colby Jack cheese cubes and half sliced strawberries as the treat. Then eating a decent meal of whatever after I get home. I’m the leanest I’ve been since I was a teenager. I don’t even need to flex in order to see veins popping out everywhere. A video that intrigued me, as well. Joe Rogan had a podcast with a Jiu Jitsu Champ by the name of Mikey Musumeci. There is a segment where he talks about his training and dieting routine. The man trains all day, doesn’t eat any meals until dinner. Intermittent fasting, followed by a big meal. The joke being that all he eats is pizza and pasta. Going as far as to hand make everything before cooking it and owning a pizza oven. Point being, I ate like shit and more often. Intermittent fasting paired with less food or lighter versions of it, helped me lose 50 lbs in less than a year and now I’m motivated with a goal of hitting 120 lbs then build up muscle.
EDIT: I must admit, physically I’m the happiest I have been in a really long time and my mentality is shifting towards positive in a lot of areas of my life. I have more confidence. People are noticing a shift in not only my physic but my mood. Though I am happily married, women (customers and coworkers) are taking notice, as well.

I eat a high protein shake with spinach, seeds and beets by 6 am every morning, then I eat a meal around 3:pm. I'm happy with a yogurt and fruit, sardines, a salad... my weight has stayed the same for 5 years. I do not nap but I go to bed early.

I have been saying this for years. I have a big family, 5 kids, I was saying to my wife that in the wild we probably would not eat every day, at least not big meals or meat. We would probably survive on seeds and veg day to day, but every now and then you would get a kill/trap an animal, then the family would feast and get all that protein and fat from the meat, but then it may be another week or so until you got another big feast, maybe a rabbit or bird or 2 through the week if you were lucky or lived in the right areas. Also, maybe less importantly, we would most likely not bathe in warm water, at least not in the UK, we would be in cold streams, lakes or the sea. Personally I have a cold shower every morning and think it is amazing for body and mind, when you can push yourself to do that every day without fail, there is not much you can't do.

i used to think like this, then i remembered that hey, those people had horrible shitty lives and would spend most of the day doing nothing trying to conserve energy so that they don't starve, they didn't go to work 12 hours a day, exercise, socialize and commute. they huddled in their hut and hoped they live to see another day. My main inspiration for your line of thinking was this tribe in africa that eats every other day, but when i looked more into it much later i realized that hey these people spend less energy in a day than i do before lunch. Still not eating until you are full for every meal is probably a good idea. just don't be one of those parents that pushes their ideals on children and then they end up malnourished or short and stubby because they were half starved their whole childhood. Cold showers are good tho and also save energy which is always nice with these damn bills getting higher and higher with the energy crisis slowly on the rise

Do you repair your body consciously during sleep? No, no and no. The body knows ... just give it the nutrients it needs and stay away from or manage stress.

I have been diagnosed with bi-polar 2, adhd, epilepsy, depression, anxiety, mania, auditory and visual hallucinations, I’ve had suicidal tendencies, I’m very prone to night terrors, and on top of all that I’ve been a heavy addict to a number of drugs for about 12 years (I just turned 28). I’ve been sober from my favorite things for about 6 months now (fentanyl, dilaudid, ketamine, benzos, cocaine, synthetic acid, and a few other random things). I hit rock bottom, but it was incredibly difficult to get off those opiates cold turkey, I felt like I was going insane and I wanted to kill myself but I was under supervision. But things are a lot better, so much less to worry about, I’m able to actuall
y strive towards what I really want in life. Not always just focusing on getting more. The shitty thing though is that I’m on so many medications and I have been for a long time. Bi-polar med, anti convulsion med, anxiety med, adderall, and suboxone to curb my opiate addiction. Most of these 3 times per day, the others twice. I’ve been on most of these meds for a long time. And my doctors said I most likely won’t be able to ever get off some of them. :,( I wanna know what it feels like to feel normal, I don’t remember.

I will pray for good health for your mind, body and soul. Jesus is King of Kings, Lord of Lord's; nothing is impossible for Him. Men are created in God's Image.
You know your body best, not any doctor. I would never accept an answer such as "you can never stop taking these pills, or you can never walk again, talk again etc... those things are possible or even probable outcomes, but not the goal. We should all focus our attention and aim for the best possible outcomes derived from the highest good...
Which can only be obtained through faith in Jesus Christ, truthfulness, hard work, and a collective effort from yourself and those who love/ surround you- to promote, critique, and work toward becoming the best version of yourself.
      To quote the Holy Bible:
"Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its Creator."
      - Colossians 3:9-10
      God be with you.
