Restart audio service method works for me after restarting but the next time he laptop goes to sleep or restarts it resets the volume delay.The scrolling direction also reverses and I cannot highlight text every time it restarts. This is happening since the last windows update.

Thanks for this I got my latency down by about 100ms by turning off audio enhancements. This is in a slightly different place for me it's just in System > Sound > click on device > Audio enhancements> Off.

DId not work, also when I pause youtube video for example, it keeps the sound for about a sec and then stops, then is worst before the desync was like .5 now is like 1 sec, is like doing stuff in the computer like pause, forward any video ( not only youtube, causes the delay to intensifies.
